Apart from the obvious lack of men... Why was the outcome in east germany different after WW2? Single Women and mothers were subsidised to be non reliant on men yet family structures didnt disolve as much (if at all) as US ones.

The bad implication of having women admit to "yes women have it easier but there is nothing we can do about it, men should deal with it and work harder. Does anyone really ask that this way during dating? I always was under the impression that this is the RP way to tell a woman that her demands are way to high for her looks and that a womans money & status are not that important to a man than the other way around.

While its interesting that woman are more influenced by external factors than men the impacts of divorce look quite depressing. Sharing your bed with someone you contempt or slide into a downward spiral that not only affects you but your whole community and the next generation.... Seems couples are out of luck no matter what if things go south. At least counseling works more often than not

The desire to have sex with someone and respect aren't mutually exclusive. How you come to that conclusion? Husbands want to have sex with their wifes you think they have no respect for them?
