True. The only reason I give a shit about the number of matches Is because so many girls are not gonna respond or be flakey so it’s a numbers game. I’ll admit my profile is very minimal effort but even if I took better pics/had a decent bio it’s still gonna always be a numbers game for men.

In my limited tinder experience, I found the girls to be heavier/less attractive in real life. That’s kinda expected I guess but it was worse than I thought it would be. They had full body pics too, some are good at hiding shit. I say use it as a tool if you want but do not rely on it as your primary source of pussy and don’t spend much time on it per day. Just my .02

Yessir. I have a small group of friends because I value respect and trust over everything. It usually takes me years to develop a sense of respect/trust for another guy. I really wanna believe that last sentence. I’ve brought a handful of girls back from bars and they didn’t want to have sex because “they don’t fuck guys they don’t know” or they “only fuck guys who they are dating. Yeah living in this internet age is a blessing and a curse. I do pretty decently in real life when I actually try but I want a loyal girlfriend who won't cheat on me and isn't an attention whore. I never seriously considered tinder as a way to find a long term girlfriend so I can't say I'm disappointed.

This exact study is actually how I arrived at my conclusion in the op. He states that the average man should expect a match 1 in every 115, so less than one percent. The thing about this study though is he obtained his info from interviewing his matches with the fake profile. Not the most convincing method considering they cloud easily lie for various reasons. The only way to get the true stats would have to be for tinder to directly release them

I used a model who is at least 9/10 and only got 24% or so match rate. Countless studies have shown this is pretty much the max you can get as a guy on a regular basis. You're friend is either lying about his match rate, you live in an area where there are way more women using tinder than men, or your friend should have been scouted long ago by a modeling agency and is on his way to be the top model in the world. That "data" you provided simply cannot be true. I've been rated 7-8 by girls in real life and random girls on omeggle. I've matched with plenty of girls at least in the 6-7 range on tinder. I didn't fuck them, or try to fuck them, but I at least matched and had some conversation. I also know guys who are 6/10 max and have accumulated matches with girls that are at least average looking.

There are a lot of factors involved with tinder, which is why I don't think it's the best indicator of how attractive you are in real life. I would say 12 every day is impressive while 4 a day is decent but nothing to write home about. This also depends on the quality of matches, are they at least average looking (5/10) or are they whales/ugly girls and bots?

Ok me and you clearly have a different rating system. I think the general consensus is that 7/10 is an attractive guy but nothing special. 10/10 would be a top tier supermodel. No offense but I highly doubt you would ever "brush" a 10/10 considering that would make you better looking than Brad Pitt. When you say you only match 1-5 a month but get a match every 15-25 swipes, something isn't adding up considering you get 100 swipes every 12 hours. Unless you only use tinder very infrequently
