Because so many women are hiring beginners, right?

Can you point to one example of me claiming otherwise? WTF.

You have ABSOLUTELY no idea what you're talking about. Feminists worked to have men EXCLUDED, and have done so successfully in many countries. Must be confusing if you subscribe to the idea that all good things came from feminism and all bad things came from men. I mean why would men fight against their own representation.
/r/AntiFeminists28/10/21 07:39 PM

Gee I wonder if I literally just described why the statistics might be off...
/r/AntiFeminists28/10/21 07:36 PM

False. Sexual violence also affects men and women evenly. We just tend to overlook men because the definitions are purposefully altered such that men cannot be considered victims. Feminism is just flat earth for victims.
/r/AntiFeminists28/10/21 07:26 PM

I think you meant exclusive. What you described is the opposite of what happened. Rape excludes men legally because of feminists and took a long fight to start being inclusive despite feminists fighting it

Someone else asked, and they probably would have preferred non-imaginary ones, but I can't speak for them.

On par. I don't see doctors going on strike for pay or refusing to do surgeries in more social countries, do you?

To be fair, you can be against the awful disparity in wealth today without wanting someone to come in and force a redistribution. Similarly, most men are fed up with the disparity in both sex and relationships, but it doesn't mean we want the government to force them to marry men in their league or something like that. It's a problem without a clear solution. And like most issues with modern society, it's gonna continue to be swept under the rug until either enough people raise hell about it, or…

I don't have many conservative views, but it seems the only women who don't act like this tend to be the more conservative ones, so usually I end up having to make a sacrifice in terms of ideals. Modern feminism positions all women as victims and all men as predators, and shames men for displaying any emotion except for violent anger. So no wonder today's men are so messed up.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 04:26 AM

Feminists tell men the genders are equal, but shame men for expressing any emotion other than violent anger. And then turn around and wonder what's wrong with men these days...

Just want to be treated equally, but that's what friends are for. If I want someone I have to pay for, take care of, clean up after, and put on a pedestal so that they can occasionally treat me like a dildo with legs, I'll start dating again.

In my experience, if you go for emotional intimacy and not sexual, women will find you boring, say you're more like a brother, and will have no romantic interest in you. I have an extremely hard time being overtly sexual with women, but it's the only option if you don't want to be just friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 03:02 AM

Thank you. And I rescind what I said about lowering your standards. Being a woman willing to take initiative puts you quite a bit ahead of your peers, so by all means aim as high as you like. As a dude, I've never been approached or hit on or even complimented by a woman I didn't know or ask for a compliment (which is not uncommon for men), so my perspective is limited, but from all the guys and girls in my friend group, I know that their experiences are all in agreement that the guy has to init…

It's just not a reality for most men. They don't have wiggle room. Their options are usually no relationship or bad, one sided relationship. Usually they'll do one for a few years, get tired of it, then try the other for a few years. We've been taught by society that this is acceptable, as well. That men need to initiate conversation, ask out, plan the date, pay for everything, kiss first, initiate sex, be the transportation, and be a shoulder to cry on, and then maybe the other party will begin…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 02:21 AM

Emotional intimacy is something the majority of men will never get from a woman so it makes sense that they get conflated by some.

Sometimes I feel bad that I've had little success with dating in relationships. Then someone like you comments and I realize I'm not missing a damn thing.

TLDR men can't be choosers in today's society. Our standards go underground and then we're told we're aiming too high. If you end up with a woman who, on rare occasion, DOES show empathy for you, you're doing well. If you find a woman with a job, who shows empathy, doesn't cheat on you, and occasionally does a chore, you've won the lottery.

This says a lot about what kind of guys you associate with, and probably what you would consider an "average" guy. A majority of women fight over a minority of guys. If you're going after those kinds of men, you're going to have to be proactive because you're facing stiff competition. If you don't want to be the initiator, you'll need to take the advice that 80% of men have had to take: lower your standards drastically.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 02:07 AM

Just wanted you to know that kind words like this mean a ton to people like you're describing. We're invisible to most of the world. It's comforting to know people out there have the capacity to care.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 11:48 PM

I feel like this is why so many men have dropped out of society though. Women's expectations have gotten so unrealistic that the average man is seen as worthless. Men have a drive to provide for a woman the same way women can have the drive to have a child.

Easy. Are you a straight male in a first world country?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/21 10:23 PM

It means a lot to hear someone admit this. That's a luxury most men do not have. You're alone and unwanted and have to just deal with it.

Having people care about me and my struggles at app would be nice. When a man is struggling, he is told to work harder, get stronger, or end it. When a woman opens up about her struggles, people come flooding to help because they're meant to be protected. As a man, I'm expected to be strong, stoic, and disposable at all times.

Whining about how women have it easier and blaming them is lazy, I'll agree with that. Women still have it much much easier. These can both be true.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/21 06:23 PM
1

Must be easy to say that it's easy and that anyone doing less well than you is just lazy. Couldn't POSSIBLY be that it's harder for men. Nope. If it's easy for you it must be for everybody. So the fact that hundreds on here are reporting the same thing is also all lies, as is the fact that men who stay single their whole lives are more than double the rate of women nowadays. I recognize that the obstacle to getting a date is internal, and that the only solution is to get better. That's what I'm …

idk if you're a man or a woman, but that's sort of the point of OP's post. For a woman, it doesn't require years of hard work and repeated rejections to get a date, even if its a date they don't particularly enjoy. I AM putting in the work. I have been lifting, and losing weight, and going to places that are outside of my comfort zone. I wouldn't be here if I'd given up, but it does not come naturally to most men. It's a full time job.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/21 04:04 AM

Not high enough. If you don't count online dating (I don't really), only about 5ish a year over the course of 15 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/21 03:04 AM

5 years either way of mine. so 22 to 32
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/21 02:38 AM

Despite all my best efforts, I have not. I've always been rejected or stood up.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/21 02:34 AM

Short term dates lead to long term relationships. They don't just appear out of thin air. So having an advantage in getting dates IS an advantage in getting long term relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/21 02:26 AM
1

You don't think that an inability to get those smaller things leads to an inability to find a long term relationship? Because it definitely does.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/21 02:16 AM
3

I'm trying my best to. All the excess energy I don't use for art/music/work goes towards trying to get a date. It's not as easy as walking outside and waiting for a date to happen. (sorry not trying to sound defensive)

The difference people on here are talking about is that when women around them complain that nobody likes them, it usually has the caveat that plenty of men do but not ones that are good enough. When men say no woman wants them, they mean it literally. They mean that even a woman they weren't interested in showing interest in them would be an enormous boost of validation that they're worth somebody's time.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/21 01:48 AM
5

Wouldn't it be crazy if women had kids because they wanted to, and didn't their time off work to be punishment for a baby that magically appeared in their lap?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/21 01:16 AM
21

Women: "women like sex too you know!" Same women ITT: "Just because women get sex, admiration, trust, and validation for free doesn't mean we have it easier. We actually hate all of those things" It's a chore when it's convenient for the sake of garnering pity. That's not the reason they won't admit that dating is harder for men. They won't admit it's harder for men because they actively dislike men as a group, and have to really strain in a way they aren't used to in order to even empathize wit…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/21 01:15 AM
3

You don't hate men. You're just up here in the comments saying men as a whole are dishonest, useless, and not worth your time...
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/21 01:10 AM
2

Moving the goalposts yet again. It's harder for men to get sex, harder to get an LTR, harder to get someone to care about them. But if you consider those things as being something a woman has to "give up" rather than a mutual thing, then of course you'll view it as being in mens favor.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/21 10:56 PM
3

Men outnumber women 5 to 1 in OLD, and that INCLUDES bots and people just there for ego stroking. Online dating benefits nobody but women.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/21 10:50 PM
7

You don't know how badly I want to believe this but the reality is for men it just isn't true. If you don't become the best at something, or provide something significant, and risk a lot of time and resources and energy, you won't find anybody who feels that way about you. That's why men get frustrated in dating. Nothing is a given. We have to struggle and fight for every table scrap, and then we get shamed for having to try so hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/21 10:48 PM

I'll bite. There are not. Any woman in the world could find a guy at least for a hookup. It just won't be a guy that meets her standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/21 10:47 PM
3

Or you could try responding to what they said instead of constantly harping against this strawman in your own head.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/21 10:44 PM
3

No. Women constantly raise this strawman here and men ALWAYS deny it.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/21 10:43 PM
2

Does it get tiring putting this much energy into hating men?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/21 10:40 PM
4

As a straight man who's been to one, it's fine. Actually pretty flattering and fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/21 10:38 PM
10

Nope. The analogy is spot on. Yes, you might have to check your food and make sure it's safe to eat. But you HAVE food. This is the part men are trying to point out here. Too many women equate having to sort out all their suitors and pick the very best as being a similar burden to being unwanted and invisible to women and society as a whole. And it's just not. If you bring a carton of food to a homeless person and tell them "be careful, some of it might be starting to spoil" I guarantee they won…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/21 10:37 PM
4

They don't. Some just have such a huge victim complex that they claim they'd happily be invisible pawns in society.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/21 10:34 PM
2

Women fought for the option to work for a living. Having options is a privelege.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/20 10:25 PM
3

LMAO, right. Because women have been kicked out of universities or jobs before for asking out someone who didn't reciprocate their feelings? Happens ALL the time I'm sure... Definitely comparable.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 11:59 PM
1

Men aren't afraid of rejection. They're afraid of being called rapists or being shamed as some kind of a molester. We've been trained to believe that all male attention is predatory, and that expressing it is akin to assault. By contrast, every man I've ever known who was asked out by a lady he didn't like back found it extremely flattering and still felt very glad that they were asked. Most of us it never even happens to.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 11:38 PM

Imagine thinking women are willing to talk and share feelings with a low value man all night long...
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/20 09:28 PM
7

Men are 3 times more likely to commit suicide, 9 times more likely to die on the job, and 4 times more likely to be homeless. More likely to be ignored in issues of domestic assault despite being equally likely to be a victim as women. Despite that society only cares about protecting women. Also, women are getting accepted into college at a way higher rate than men with way more scholarships and are now more likely to enter a job with higher pay than their male peers. Feminism did a good job ear…
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/20 09:26 PM

Idgi. I know lots of very average and good men who have never had any female interest so, in some level, the abusive behavior they're complaining about seems to be what appeals to them initially
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 11:26 PM
5

That's kind of my point though? Women lament "where are all the good men" but then they overlook red flags and go for the hottest guy they can get and then complain that all men are scumbags
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 10:30 PM
5

The majority of people are too disenfranchised by society to go out of their way to defend it. Incels will be far from the only ones watching it burn from the sidelines. I think incels mean that if society died out and women needed to turn to men for protection, they're not gonna feel inclined to help. Neither will I for that matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 10:17 PM
1

Both sexes are getting worse. Mens standards drop, womens either raise or remain static. Thats how you get stuff like the 80/20 rule.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 09:47 PM
6

Women don't want relationships with them either, tbf. When women lament that they can't find a committed relationship, they mean an LTR with a 10/10 man
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 09:34 PM
3

Plenty of studies show the exact opposite to be the case. As the dating scene has become more and more skewed in women's favor, mens standards have dropped through the floor while women will only accept the very best of the best. All this despite the fact that modern society has made both sexes less attractive on average.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 09:32 PM
1

Aren't you guys constantly saying women aren't a monolith? Well I have some news for you about men too.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 04:58 PM
3

You can be tough as nails and still be traditionally feminine. Asking someone to be appreciative and emotionally available shouldn't be asking for the moon. A lot of western people want to have their cake and eat it too and also blame white men for there being cake.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/20 10:45 PM
4

Have you ever even met a real man in real life? We aren't the world killing horde that third wave feminism tells you we are.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/20 10:27 PM
5

Imagine telling men, who suffer most workplace deaths and are much more likely to serve in the military and can be drafted that their gender doesn't make sacrifices or serve others.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/20 10:04 PM
11

Imagine thinking that sexless men are waiting in line for a supermodel as opposed to just desperately trying to find a woman who won't treat them like crap
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/20 08:38 PM
0

I get all the love and validation a person could ever need, so why dont you guys just break the law and risk future relationships to pay someone an exorbitant fee to pretend to give a shit about you for maybe an hour?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/20 09:38 PM
1

Women have done this long before any social safety nets existed. I mean I get what you're saying: that the more independent women are, the less likely they are to choose someone they don't like. But in a vacuum, all other factors notwithstanding, womem have been shown to be very competitive for the top men, even to their own detriment.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/20 08:41 PM
2

I'm not sure I follow your logic. This is regarding pure female selection in a vacuum. Politics doesn't affect it. And as for socialism failing... It hasn't in about 8000 years so we'll see what happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/20 08:37 PM
2

There have been studies showing that if women have their pick from a group of even extremely attractive/alpha men, they will STILL prefer to compete for the top 2 or 3 guys than settle for less.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/20 08:19 PM
4

Exactly. So your option is live life on easy mode if you're an attractive woman, or if you're an unattractive woman, then live it the way all men do: by being considered worthless unless you're sacrificing yourself to give someone else money.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/20 04:31 PM
1

Yeah being valued only for your looks sucks, but at least society values you. Unless you are making somebody money or serving in their army, men aren't valued by society for ANYTHING
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/20 04:11 PM
1

And I totally believe that to be true. Believing people are genuine should be your default.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/20 05:01 PM

You can display emotions as long as those emotions are exhibited by you wanting to kill something, fuck something, or get EXTRA stoic.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/20 04:57 PM

When women need support its a mans duty. When men need support or even show weakness, its "emotional labor". Which is probably the most toxic phrase I know and makes me want to opt out.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/20 04:52 PM
1

It's almost like it's the lived experience of the majority of men on here. You can listen or just convince yourself they're all lying or not acting in good faith.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/20 04:33 PM
1

No role for men? That's not true. If they need people to die to protect the women and children of our country, they'll force you to do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/20 03:56 PM
0

Imagine believing men get praised for things.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/20 03:50 PM
17

Women will tell you they want you to be vulnerable, but the first moment you show even a hint of vulnerability, you will be met with contempt and disgust. They'll cry about the "emotional labor" you're putting them through and say that you're trying to use them as a free therapist. Like they're completely oblivious to what the concept of a friendship is. I'm glad I finally met men in my life who I can open up with because you sure as hell can never do so with a woman.
