That is the main difference between men and women: men expect their partner to be sweet, loving, not annoying, pulling their weight, and taking care of themselves. That never changes. Women want stability one day, and the next, it is adventure. You must be manly and rough! But don't you dare being too emotionally unavailable. My wife literally wanted children, family, and house in the subs. She left me after three years in that new, beautiful home (that I alone broke my back to acquire) because …

Do you listen to them when there’s a problem Yes. Depends on how you treat them. Not always, there are just some bad eggs, doesn’t really matter how fair you treat them. You’re not talking to a teenager or a guy in his twenties, I’ve been around the block.

Travelling, saving/making money, creating music (I play 3 instruments), developing multiple skills for recreation and monetary gain staying in the gym, and eating good ass food 👌 I’ve noticed I can get more shit done being single. Like I learned how to play 3 instruments proficiently. There are only 24hrs in a day, do you think between work and other obligations that would be possible with a wife and kids?

Have any of you guys, after going thru a relationship where your wife is abusive (not physical but ruthless in every other way), possibly undiagnosed BPD, thought…. nope, I’m done with serious relationships. And have you stayed single for years and years? ☝️

The selling of retirement as the ultimate goal is a great fraud perpetrated by the guilty upon the overworked. I am not making a negative comment against you, u/LonelyNC123, just an observation and conclusion I've come to. "Work your mind and body to ruin for fifty years, then we'll let finally you have a stucco shack in an old folks development for five to eight years until you die or get dementia or go into full-time nursing care. Unless your employer went tits-up and left an underfunded pensi…

“ A woman will start grieving the loss of the marriage months, if not years before you find out. Meanwhile, the man finds out and tries begging, pleading, manipulation, making changes, doing 'how to save my marriage' internet searches, suggesting marriage counseling, etc.” Yup.
