Some parents truly think their sons can do no wrong, even when their shitty parenting stares them straight in their face.

I literally winced when I read that. But he just doubles down on his insane entitlement. All the women coming out to give him advice go unheeded. He's well on a path to be forever alone. This is why we need FDS mentality - after exhausting their marriage partners, some trashmen like this will go after literal teenagers/women in their early 20s right afterwards because they simply don't know better and are easier to manipulate. Tale as old as time. Young girls and ladies, please believe us women …

Hi ladies, Remember that scrote I posted about yesterday? Yeah, turns out that the dumpster fire got a huge delivery of wet diarrhea sloshed all over it. I hope that his STBXW finds her own happiness, she is a beautiful woman, has her whole life ahead of her, and was always too good for him. Keep swiping to find his pickme mom in action. Lesson: Never engage men like this. They are set in their misogynist ways and will never change. Let them scream into the void about "modern women" while being …

Oh I wish all these single dads who are shopping for a young, naive woman to play Nanny McPhee to his kids would just FUCK OFF. You are robbing a young woman of her own life experiences so that you can have your life subsidized.

One of my best friends, who I wrote about under the flair "FDS rescue mission" that got deleted, is thinking of selling her gorgeous lakefront condo that she owns in her OWN name to buy a house with the man she's been with for less than a year....after he ditched his family to get with her. I'm thisclose to telling her "you get em how you lose em." I'm so afraid for her personality, her career, her personhood. UGH I despise men like this. I am PRAYING that this is a troll post.

Ok, so I don't know if any ladies watch this show but in Netflix's Tuca and Bertie, Bertie has her afternoon intruded on by an unscheduled plumber who keeps mentioning how small she is and how he could overpower her easily. One of the tips that he gives her is to leave her boyfriend's shoes outside so that people will know that there's a "Man in the House." :(

They've never done anything remarkable or prideful in their lives and so want to dip their toes into the sympathy Olympics to jump the victim hurdles. As if the problems they have are equivalent to actually disenfranchised peoples.

Reading your post made my blood boil. Typical loser self-wallowing in pity. He just wanted to go sympathy fishing and that wasn't enough attention for himself. There are people living with disabilities, autism, depression, and social anxiety who live their lives every single day and OH btw they manage not to kill other innocent people in their resentment.

Men have been abusing women since the dawn of time, using their physical power to oppress women and deny them basic human rights - hell, to deny them personhood. For the first time in human history, women are beginning to know their true worth that doesn't hinge on being good daughters/mothers/wives/other feminine roles we get boxed into, then shamed for being in that box or outside that box. Women have been oppressed but you don't see us going out to buy guns because our loneliness makes us ang…

I was riding the subway in my country with two girlfriends, when a scrote began hurling racist abuse at a boy BUT ALSO saying disgusting, sexually predatory things to his female cousin. It was quite a packed subway, too. Guess who came to their rescue? SIX WOMEN. Literally, six women. Total strangers. Four women surrounded the boy and girl so the creep couldn't get physically close to them, and two women shouted him down until he muttered and spluttered his way out of the subway car.

No matter how powerful or pathetic a man is, a low-value man will always find a way to subjugate, by force, the weaker sex. The 'inferior' race. Whoever they deem 'less than." Which is ironic, given all that JFK put Jackie O through, NO one should consider that she was a weak-willed woman. on that note... Sometimes I fantasize that women are biologically just as strong as men, and that the disadvantaged women throughout history just rolled up their sleeves and ground-POUNDED any man trying to ta…

I hate that stupid whiny song about that man-boy rapping "Can't make a wife out of a ho, ho" without switching the channel. Great message we're sending to young girls and boys, good job. Should have been "Can't make a man out of a fuckboy"

The problem is that she's already expressed to me that she's afraid that her friends and family will judge her and disrespect him...my biggest fear is that I'll be blunt, she won't like it, and withdraw from me...further alienating herself from everyone around her social circle. She is so happy that he has chosen her. I want to approach this with a bit of nuance, as romantic relationships has always been a sore spot for her.

There was a movement years ago, I forgot from where - essentially it was, "Replace the woman of your attention with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Would you do what you do to The Rock? Would you say the things you say to The Rock? No? Then don't do it to women, you absolute degenerate." Stuck in a crowd at a concert - would you reach out to slap The Rock's ass as he danced in booty shorts? Making your way through a bar - would you caress The Rock on his lower back or his abs as you passed him by? At…

HOLY fuck your comment just triggered me. When my ex bought an IKEA TV stand, I insisted on helping as I love putting furniture together. He huffed and puffed and swore and got angry that he's "got this," and ended up rage quitting after 2 hours. I had to manually disassemble the whole thing (he had put several shelves in the wrong place) and put it back together - it took me 30 minutes. But of course, he didn't recognize it at all and pouted for the remainder of our weekend together. Loser.

These are great reminders! I know I've been guilty of a few of these in my early days so it's good to see them being re-stressed. With that said I just wanted to point out, when I suggested this subreddit to a friend of mine, she told me that there were several links in the FDS handbook that were broken, missing, or deleted. I know that the mods are EXTREMELY busy even manually combing through submissions and comments, but having a few members update and refurbish the handbook might not be such …

They sound like a bad, unfunny sketch comedy. This environment is normal for them and even encouraged. Imagine what they allow to run rampant as they grow older. These are just students in a class, so young and should be full of vigor...instead they hurr-durr at jokes encouraging women as subhuman and rape. If she had spoken out, she would not have been taken seriously or respected. Men bitch and moan about the lack of women in male-dominated spaces, as if they could withstand even a single day …

Having orbiters that, at the end of the day, mean nothing to you (ex, former fling, some rando) and don't add any substantial joy or improvement to your life doesn't mean anything. Truly. It doesn't mean anything. Unlike TRP men, it's in the best interest for women to cut out orbiters from their circle. There is no use in boosting your ego or to stroke your self-esteem by entertaining men who don't deserve your efforts and time. Life is too short to share with the people important to you. Don't …

There are multiple games meant to appeal to children that start with a woman going over to see her bf/husband, and sees him openly cheating with another woman...it then pans over her not-good-enough body, and it's time for a MAKEOVER! You get to pluck and preen said woman to perfection to win back her cheating POS. What kind of message is this sending children? I'm a secure woman so when I see these ads I just snort and skip them...what about for young children? What will they think?

Ok so to be fair, there are certain expectations for candidates when they are applying for jobs. Sometimes it requires such and such a degree, other times they require a certain 'look' that fits the brand. There were SO MANY different ways to communicate that she just didn't fit the bill: "This girl doesn't fit our brand" "This girl doesn't have the look that we're wanting to represent" "This girl doesn't fit our needs at the moment" But no, they decide to go with "Not that cute." You know, sometimes life doesn't seem fair. You can feel like you're putting out all the positive energy in the world, but if it's never reciprocated it can feel demoralizing - especially if the people around you who aren't putting in as much effort seem to be outpacing you in terms of raising their standards and creating success. Just remember that the difference between you and everyone else (and I'm using this term broadly) is that you are looking to make positive changes to keep on trucking.…

I have no idea what some dudes are talking about when they insist that dating and relationships are more difficult for men than women, because men have to "entertain" and "put in the conversational effort." I don't get it. It just seems to be a flood of "lol" "cool" "right on" "haha nice" like....huh? Low-effort parroting one-word passive responses is NOT cool. I notice lots of LVM will be happy to talk AT you. Not TO you. Big difference.

Male violence is rooted in patriarchy. It is acceptable for men to show aggression and blind violence as an uncontrolled emotion. It is absolute bullshit that women and girls at a concert of their favourite singer screaming and crying in elation is not acceptable, is mocked and ridiculed. One group only affects themselves, and is usually bonded by a joyous musical performance. The other causes physical harm to innocent bystanders, their wives, and their children. When you've spent your whole life hearing from others and society and the media that all the beautiful things that come with hard work, luck and accomplishment are things that you deserve and are entitled to just for existing, it can be very difficult to put yourself in others' shoes to empathize. Others' struggles become nothing to you, because the biggest injustice is that you're not getting what you deserve for doing jack all.

If I recall correctly, there are programs in Europe where they will finance trips to Red Light Districts for men so they can get their peepee wet. I remember thinking during my pickme days "oh how nice is it that governments are funding trips for disabled men to have sex." Now I can't think about that fact without getting incredibly angry. All I can think about is all those girls and women who got trafficked into the sex tourism industry. But men who can't get laid are the real victims here.

NOT EVERY GROUP IS MEANT FOR YOU. I don't know why these losers don't understand this. The reason why I come to this subreddit despite the fact that I'm engaged is that I still have friends and loved ones around me that cater to LVM, carry burdens of shame and low self-esteem, and aren't quite sure how to verbalize and deconstruct the years of brainwashing that was done to them. Hi, I'm going to send you a longer PM, so check your inbox. This is an issue that many women go through after a breakup, and reacting with sadness, anger, and frustration at yourself and the time lost is very normal. Let yourself feel all the emotions, but don't let it overpower you and impede your growth and progress. Dear God this is great advice. I am so happy with where I am in life, and am so grateful for my experiences both good and bad that led me to today, but I do wonder if I had immediately "turned around and walked away + blocked number" of my exes, maybe my pre-engaged dating life wouldn't have been such a gong show. Most women internalize their issues and blame themselves, first and foremost. Incel men look for others to blame - nothing is ever their fault. Even when they shoot up a public place.

Please PLEASE do not think that boys your age are all gross and immature. Of course there are boys that are like that, but that's why you should be strict in your vetting and not allow yourself to start crushing on someone before getting to know who they really are. This is a MYTH perpetuated by older men and society, so that those scrotey old men can feel like they have forever access to, and are entitled to, young women who are just coming into their own. It's a manipulation tactic.

A bit late in responding to you but THANK YOU. It honestly makes me cringe, the kinds of internalized ideas of misogyny I used to believe in. I'm so glad that the older men you dated were good and kind to you. Once in our lifetimes, we come across genuinely good people who, regardless of age or standing, show true kindness. However, it concerns me greatly that you cite "not having been raped before, ever" as a stroke of luck. Hey there, thanks for your feedback. This is something that's not set well with me for a long time. I felt emotional writing this! This is one of the reasons why I wish FDS had existed when I was a young adult. The signs were right there in front of me, and I was too blind and prideful to do anything about it until I grew the hell up. Uhh genius, isn't the whole point of a wedding band to show off to the world that you're taken and unavailable? It's exactly as you say - they want to give off the vibe that they are single.

I second this! Do not break up with him in person. I tried to end things with my NVX (I have written about him before on FDS) twice before the relationship finally went kaput. I was sick of his constant put-downs and abuse, his cloying lies, but when I told him I didn't see a future with him he cried and weaseled his way back - a decision that would cost me an extra year and a half of being 'stuck' as he desperately tried to prove that we DID have a future together, for all of a few weeks, until…

So at the time when I was dating, I was anywhere from 18 to 24 (am with my LTP now since 24 ~ present). When I was starting off dating, I was intent on protecting myself as much as possible from shitty guys who would try to pressure me for sex and so this is why I chose to go 50/50. Oh agreed. This was just late teens/early 20s me while dating. After hearing so many horror stories of women feeling pressured to 'give it up,' I knew I wasn't going to give it up for a hot meal. Not sure if it sent pickme vibes (ooh look at me, I don't need a man to pay for my meals and a good time), but at the time I'd have rather played it safe and owed no man, rather than have been emotionally blackmailed into sex or the like.

I'm sure we weren't the only ones to think this way. How many times have women been burned by "Well I did this for you, or bought something for you, you owe me" by impatient men who don't know how to court? I knew it took the romantic element right out of dating, but I'd rather curate my own romantic experience with a man who truly believes in doing kind things for each other rather than be with a man who gives the whole smoke-and-mirrors nice guy routine, then demands sex/acts he feels entitled…

I do believe that age-gap relationships can work - for example, if you're 40 and the man you're dating is 50, you're probably both established and in similar stages of your lives where you can enjoy each other.
