Nowhere in the article does it state that any feminist wants to ban this test? Fuck sake, get out more, the only thing you do is post to this sub.

I would never excuse that, and you are just using strawmans now. Yes, women usually like muscles, and it's not an inherently bad thing to attribute to your male character. The thing is, these men usually have other characteristics, struggles that they had to overcome or are overcoming, even when women write the stories. Female characters are much more one sided, especially in the gaming genre that is so male dominated. The female characters are usually nothing more than tits and ass and a cute f…

It doesn't. I'm just making a point. A female character is almost never ever not attractive. Male characters are allowed to be a bit uglier, Marcus Fenix isn't very handsome, lots of Space Marines of WH40K are borderline ugly. Even my darling Jade who I use as reference for a good female character is cute. But that is how female characters are treated in many mediums, not just games, that's what I was getting at, and that example lends itself very good because of that picture.

Wrong, I looked up very much to Jade (a recurring character, because she fits very good and was the first female character that wasn't just tits and ass that I encountered), and I know of many men that did the same. Listen to what female gamers want for a power fantasy, and it's not Lara Croft.

What the hell are you talking about? Do you mean my comment about Jade? If so, yeah, I can analyze what a power fantasy is, regardless of gender.

GoW, God of War, every male fighter, space marines of WH40K, WoW, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 1-2, CoD games, and on and on. All of these are not overly steroid pumped like Marcus Fenix, but they are all power fantasies, they are strong and can handle themselves. Now think back, find a female character in a game that isn't pretty, sexy, cute or anything like that who can also take care of herself. For each of these characters you find, there are hundreds of male characters. Male characters don'…

Oh for fuck sake, men in games are POWER fantasies, they don't have to look handsome, look at any of the walking refrigerator space marines. There are very, very few female power fantasies in gaming, I can only remember Jade from BG&E from the top of my head. And I say this as a man with a passion for gaming.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
