Or......she’s telling the truth and doing so in private because this guy asked, and she’s trying to not hide a dark part of her past anymore. Burden of proof is a law term. Nobody is paying any kind of price and probably no one is being slandered. I guess we’ll never know.

Sorry. What do you mean it’s a man’s duty? Is this guy paying any kind of price? Methinks thou doth protest too much about rape, How about you stop caring about how other people handle things and live and let live. How can you presume to know if she really did or didn’t have trouble going right to the cops? You just assumed she was lying? That’s a pretty shitty thing to assume from a few paragraphs. Thank god you’re not a cop at a crime scene. “No signs of a struggle or defensive wounds. That definitely wasn't meant to be taken literally. My guess, not knowing the situation was that maybe she thought you might be into her until you literally told her with your actions and in so many words that you weren't. I thought maybe the thing about taking a long time to text was a typo. What I basically read from it was 'I took a while to text her and she took a long time to text me and therefor, I care about her less now.' Which made me think ".........what?"

Am I missing something? You made a point of acting like you don't care about her and now you're crying about her not being interested anymore? The whole thing about she took forever to respond and you were taking your time too killing your attraction toward her. Do you realize how hypocritical that sounds? It sounds like you could care less about this girl so why do you care now?
