And it was that pope that looked like the Emperor from Star Wars, not the new one. Some of them stuck to their native religion and some of them were buddhists and there was actually some conflict that stemmed from that but most of them were hard line Catholics. Of course modern medicine is pretty useful, but I can't afford it anyway, so it may as well not exist. And other than that I'd rather live on a hill and grow rice. It was wonderful.
