And yes I'm picky" It seems like a rational tactic to me, if she's trying to attract a specific kind of dude. I don't think the dudes here in this sub really approve of women having preferences. I read some place that is the worst thing you can do. Brushing your teeth introduces small tears in your gums that help infectious microbes to easily access your blood stream. It's worth trying not to be so squeamish. Rationally evaluating your STI risk is one thing, but ruining a sexual encounter because of the fear of being exposed to traces of something undetectable to you seems a bit overly reserved to me.
