Damn right, women need to be pretty, and men need to be tall and strong, wouldn't settle for anything less.

I'm not exonerating them, quite the opposite. I think it's funny how this sub (in general) portraits women as irresponsible children given to their base desires who can't accept responsibility for their actions, but when guys go off and scrape something of the bottom of the mental barrel and marry it, they're the victims of evil scheming women. Sure, sometimes it's really a sociopath and they couldn't have known because we are good at manipulating, but most of the time it's just thinking with th…

So, you're into alpha traits? Too bad supply and demand are against you (I mean if you want to add "reasonable" to the mix).

Everybody does that... it's like you just found out that women are human...

cs 1.6 see if you could teach cs players programming, you can teach anyone anything! Actually, my original argument was supposed to be that prostitution shouldn't be an obstacle to have a perfectly viable career after (a lot of girls are paying their way through collage being callgirls and strippers)

I really think you're wildly overestimating their thought processes. I think they're just opposed to it because of some silly ideology, like the downfall of morals or something...

Ok, distinction noted, your hamster is morally superior to theirs.

Don't we all hamster about a better life, though?

So? I'm sure there are more realistic goals for them to dedicate their lives fighting for? I can buy playboy bunnies trying to keep prostitution illegal because they don't want competition, but bearded ladies fighting for rich husbands? That's like growing an orchard in the middle of a desert, and I'm not just talking about their vaginas.

I'd bet on a bunch of retired gamers than a bunch of retired prostitutes picking up IT/math related fields Average pro-gamer has as much chance picking up IT/Math as prostitute picking up gynaecology.

One of the reasons why said IT and Math-related fields A normal pro-gamer doesn't really have any IT or math skills. By your logic prostitutes would be excellent gynaecologists/proctologists.

Religion doesn't really jive with feminism that well, though. The problem is actually getting employers/HR to look at their experience positively in something other than tech or math related careers if they choose to go out of those bounds. While gaming (SC2 at least) does help develop a very keen mind, you still have to learn how to use it for something marketable. Being able to tell when an opponent is going for a roach timing attack doesn't translate well to real life. Prostitutes at least ha…

only fear about losing the rich powerful men uhm... maybe I'm wrong, but those kinds of feminists aren't exactly the kind of women that rich powerful men go after and marry, like ever, in the history of ever. If I was a rich powerful man I'd get Beyonce or something... no wait, better Rihanna cuz you just know she likes it dirty... anyway, you can't lose something you never had, their only chance would be to bring back arranged marriages.

Reality is ammoral What's morality got to do with it? Unless you subscribe to some religious doctrine, prostitution is perfectly moral. It's no different than being a bodyguard or a construction worker, using your body to pay your way. It'd overall be detriment to most women as they age without a greater number of hidden transfers of wealth influenced by gender. I have the same concerns about pro-gamers :/ if they don't bank enough money in their early 20ies they're pretty much screwed. At least…

I explicitly stated that I wasn't talking about modern feminism. It's all part of a natural progression that would have happened regardless That may or may not be. I have no interest in arguing these kinds of hypotheticals, so lets just say we agree on the spirit of the thing, if not the form.

You're talking about two completely different things now... Oh, I thought this sub connects them. While feminism may have outlived its usefulness, I am grateful for the opportunity that it has provided for me. I was able to educate myself and make a life for myself without depending on anyone, a thing I wouldn't have been able to do in the past. I'm not arguing that feminism today is good or even needed, but I dread to think what my life might have been if it never existed... no education, force…

Well, so far that is just common sense to me, but I'm not seeing much differences between men and women in that regard. When does self-improvement and working on your relationship become "feminism is evil" and "women were happier in the kitchen"? That's the part I'm confused about.

That's great. What about the other side of the equation? What did she do to make herself more attractive to you?
/r/TheRedPill20/02/14 07:58 PM

That is commendable. Thanks for being civil, people usually get defensive when I poke around and I'm honestly just trying to reach some understanding. I still can't really accept TRP argument as valid and sound, but I'm not gonna push the issue, better end it on a good note.

Oh, that part must have been buried under all the complaining. I guess I'll have to look harder.

Because I believe women and men have different behavioral tendencies? Not really, I have zero interest in gender studies, I'm more into forensic analysis and you seemed like an interesting case. Anyway, sorry about what happened to you, to be betrayed by family is high treason in my books, I really hope this whole thing works out for you.

Human nature is an idiot. It's kinda like having a dog, if you don't train it properly you're gonna have a bad time. Acknowledging your nature is only the first step, you also have to take control of it, otherwise you're just letting your chihuahua piss on your carpet and being proud about it.

Just couldn't help noticing that the described behaviours are classic symptoms of mental illness. But, you know what they say: Some of them want to abuse you Some of them want to be abused Sweet dreams are made of these Who am I to disagree?

It's not like men don't do the exact same thing, and it's not limited to romantic relationships either. Take a look at religion and politics...

Actually, that's the difference between being a gamer and being a pro-gamer. My mom is a cook, but she's not a professional cook.

If there are women gamers that think they're good enough, and can prove it, then there's not much stopping them. Case in point, Scarlett.

I think everybody in their right mind would prefer that. Being the center of anyone's world becomes a burden very fast.
