Perhaps someone would like to take on this project. A study on the opponents of laws regarding men's rights.Ballotpedia. (Scroll down the page in the link) Not all measures have the opponents listed but you can still find out other information like how much money was collected to support/oppose the bill. The sponsors of the bill. And broad information on the arguments presented by both sides. I have started a google spreadsheet. If you find notable bills in your state, please post a link. I'll start collecting them and see where things go. | /r/MensRights | 03/06/16 11:32 PM
Why doesn't TBP have a problem with feminism complaining/blaming men for women's issues, but gladly criticize TRP's attitudes/generalizations towards women?Except that pretty much everything anti-feminists object to is taught in college. It's not tmblr feminists aren't the problem, they are the symptom. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/06/15 03:31 PM
Why are men and women unable to be friends?I actually read the description at the top of this page. I'm sorry but I don't know to what you are referring. I honestly hope you see that TRP is an unhealthy way to approach life before that line of thinking hurts you. Good luck with your future endeavors. I am not part of TRP. What I am is a supporter of Men's Rights. Everything I'm talking about comes from Men's Rights literature. TRP, again, is about how to deal with issues that we both agree exist. One way it does this is by supporting gro… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/05/15 09:28 PM
Why are men and women unable to be friends?Fully agree. 100%. This is where men have a hard time dealing with emotions. I don't believe it's a matter of what we're culturally 'allowed' to do, I think it has far more to do with biology. Both sexes have problems dealing with rejection and can have emotional tantrums. Men more often will use such reactions to build walls rather than lash out. (EDIT: Re-reading this I realize I got a bit distracted. In response to your comment, men are more likely to try to build a wall then deal with the pr… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/05/15 09:10 PM
Why are men and women unable to be friends? The friendzone is when a guy is trying to accept the best possible outcome (EDIT: With a hope of something more). It's not offering friendship under false pretenses. They feel spurned because emotions can't be turned off.... men aren't robots. And are you absolutely sure that you've heard the argument 'women are incapable of being friends with men', or is that just how you hear it? All the arguments I know say the opposite, men can't be friends with women. Sometimes there are REALLY stupid reaso… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/05/15 09:00 PM
Why are men and women unable to be friends? This is my point... an attempt to extract sex under a false premise of friendship. That doesn't happen, or at least not often enough to be an issue. What is happening is that men will take what they can get (friendship) and it's actually emotionally painful. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/05/15 08:35 PM
Why are men and women unable to be friends? Are those female friends with other females though? My female friends had A LOT of guy friends and no maybe a couple close girl friends. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/05/15 08:28 PM
Why are men and women unable to be friends? That's such a backward way to think about what's going on. Men know that friendship is a good respectable thing. But those pesty things called emotions actually give us desires, and to have those desires go unfulfilled is hard. It's like a bad marriage. We both agree that if you aren't fulfilled then you leave, right? Everyone who would be willing to form a friendship to extract sex, is going to be after sex. They aren't going to go shopping with you, or help you out whenever they can. Men know … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/05/15 08:24 PM
Red pill men, do you have rape fantasies?Rape fantasies go all sorts of ways. I have seen porn where the girl kills a guy she's torturing or where a married couple together rape the babysitter, and forced gay/lesbian encounters by both men or women. And awfully brutal stuff as well. In your opinion, how much of an influence does the hatred of a gender have on rape fantasies? Every instance of rape fantasy could be seen as hateful, are there instances where they are undebatably hateful? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/05/15 01:12 PM
Extreme Red Pillers are no better than extreme feminists, they both need to stop.I think TRP must really care about what people think because they are driven to be unapologetically extreme. People only do that when they want others to know that they 'really feel' their ideas are important and nuance is unacceptable. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/05/15 08:34 PM
Is it at all possible to be both red pill and a feminist? (all pills)Oh, no. They don't debate with TBP. Sorry for being unclear. They recognize debate amongst themselves. Or at least that was my interpretation when I experimented. As for the behavior of the mods... that's a different argument. I will continue to try not to use the actions of your mods against your group. You may try to avoid using their mods against their group if you like. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/05/15 08:14 PM
Is it at all possible to be both red pill and a feminist? (all pills)I wish I could recall the SJW subreddit that used 'Marxist' in their description until it got pointed out and taken down. Do me a favor, (this is something I do myself), try to start noticing all the similarities of behavior among the patchwork of beliefs in this gender war. Everything from the most extreme hateful SJW to the most extreme hateful Masculinist. And all the types in between. Every time you see something stupid/terrible as an argument for something you support, think how often it oc… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/05/15 08:07 PM
Is it at all possible to be both red pill and a feminist? (all pills)Leave A Voice For Men out of this. Seriously. I don't like Paul Elam either but the foundation has Warren Farrell and Erin Pizzey and countless other great people working for a just cause. If you think AVFM is a problem then you are a problem. One thing TRP has going for it is that it is largely about debate, which brings me to the GREAT irony of those two links. The RoK is opposed to AVFM/MRM. They are fundamentally different. The only similarity they have is that they are about the male gender… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/05/15 07:45 PM
Is it at all possible to be both red pill and a feminist? (all pills)It's like religion. I'm all for different interpretations of this thing you call god, but if they contradict each other I'm not going to give credit to any of you. Whatever conclusions I come to are my own. I will adopt your label only when I am comfortable for what it stands for and not a moment sooner. I guess my answer to the OPs question would be, no. You shouldn't 'be' any of those things. You should just say in believe in some of those things. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/05/15 07:31 PM
Is it at all possible to be both red pill and a feminist? (all pills)It was founded on the destruction of the female identity for something better. Now feminist theory is about the destruction of the male identity for something better... for women. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/05/15 07:23 PM
Huffpost comments on Shia LeBeouf, barely mentions his rape. You can't give blanket consent to a number of crimes. In this case, Shia had put himself in a vulnerable position and somebody else took advantage of it. Shia did not ask to be assaulted, Shia did not ask for sex. He made it known that it was his role not to react to anything and told others to be themselves. There is no consent there. This was not mutual. It was sexual assault. | /r/MensRights | 29/11/14 01:03 PM
"What Will We Concede To Feminism": UPDATEA long long time ago, men worked hard to provide and got themselves killed but, as a gender, were rewarded for it with high positions. Women took care of the home and passed on the genes. It was mutually beneficial for our survival as a species. Men receive a bunch of rights. First wave feminism comes in and successfully get's women the same rights. Alls good. Technology advances and the house work becomes easier but women now feel trapped with nothing to do. Enter the second wave feminists who … | /r/MensRights | 03/07/13 07:56 PM
