But what are we losing? Outside an economic blip that will soon be filled by new life (as is the way of capitalist enterprise and ingenuity), what are we losing? Sounds like we'd be gaining, no? Men not having to slaughter themselves at archaic jobs for archaic reasons, people not being so desperate for romance and sex that they pursue other things (and leave each other alone), etc... sounds good to me.

I—is that really a collapse, though? I don't think society depends on this mythical idea of heroic self sacrifice from family men nearly as much as you think it does. I think family's gonna go on just fine with people doing whatever they want. It won't collapse, it'll just adapt.

I mean you can get sexual stuff from friends. Family members, too, if you have enough banjo strings. I'm more just really concerned that posts like these make it seem as though if men didn't have to actively catch pussy in the wild or something, they'd all just become giant blobs like in the Mucinex commercials, wasting their lives doing absolutely nothing except playing video games and grab ass with friends. Most men I know yearn for more. Travel, good experiences, kicking ass at a career or pa…

My favorite thing about things like this post is how y'all don't even realize how much you dehumanize men into nothing more than orangutans with an Xbox controller. And y'all bitch about feminism. Lmao. Brb gotta go tell my boyfriend who doesn't want kids because he wants to use all our money on us actually enjoying nice things and experiences, that he's only planning to marry me for sex and kids. (???)

The absolute minimum action or effort required to achieve a set expectation.

In a way, if you were actually serious about any of the shit you're talking and talked it in a way that wasn't so, well, shitty, I'd be blown away by your standards and in complete awe, perhaps even considering it a challenge to rise above those standards just for fun. Hold your future partners to high standards and you'll weed out the weak easily. But maybe do it with a personality that isn't full of weird projections and a really interesting idea of "reality." Godspeed, sir. ETA: It is kinda s…

Lol. I didn't read even 3/4s of this. I think, if you're not a massive troll, then you just don't understand that from one paragraph, you don't actually know my life, what I do, etc (nor do you know what basics are, as clearly you don't do any of this if you think even the basics aren't like... work. Lol). I do a ton of shit outside the "basics" (and I mean. Yeah. Cooking and cleaning are basic--thats why men should know how to do it too.) And I love doing a ton of shit. I wasn't complaining abo…

I think there definitely are men out there that think that performing any emotional labor (as most friendships require) entitles them to more than a friendship. However, im glad to know many men who are nice just because its the right thing to do. To the surprise of no one, they are all either in relationships or have a Chad-level luck with women. They also happen to have more going for them than niceness alone lol.

In the context of social interaction and relationship building: being a decent human being that doesn't make being a decent human being transactional?

Nah, I don't. Y'all seem to think all women who are attractive have libidos through the roof. Not really. My life doesn't revolve around dick. Lmao. I like sex, but it's not the first spot on my list of priorities. You just seem to think any woman who is tired of self proclaimed nice guys is some BoPo SJW with blue hair and yeasty skin folds. Nah. I'm just tired of watching gameless, low quality men whine and stamp their feet because women don't have time to deal with pissbabies. As I said: I ha…

has anyone ever told you that niceness is the bare minimum and that, like, there is more that a woman might want than niceness? i know plenty of nice men. i wouldnt date any of them for reasons completely outside their niceness. the man im dating now for the past 10 years and plan to marry is really nice. he also has a million other things going for him that other men dont. if niceness is your only character trait, your character sucks lmao

they LOVE sex, it EMPOWERS them. lol this whole post is written by someone who is the exact subject in question of OP's point, but that last bit was especially funny signed, someone who spends a lot of time/work remaining fit and sexy, but also like... works a job and takes care of a house and works on side projects and is just kinda tired sometimes and not at all empowered by the thought of nonstop sex; that sounds exhausting and annoying looool "marriage is dead" my ass; you just arent worth m…

Who was talking about basic respect? This was talking about someone who was attracted to someone else, but basically refusing to take any initiative unless the other person (whose attraction to them is unknown) made the first move.

I don't believe this about literally anyone, over literally anything. People are NOT MIND READERS. If you want something of them, you have to COMMUNICATE IT. People are so busy living their own lives and doing their own thing that if you're playing high school games, they might not even realize they're missing something. No one should be expecting anyone to run up to them if they "really" wanted anything, nor should they be sitting around twiddling their thumbs waiting while the person in questi…

“why would girls choose the entitled and misogynistic jocks instead of the quiet nerds, whose attitudes towards women are exactly on par with the jocks but who are less attractive” LITERALLY LOL like if I have to pick a total fuckhead either way, at least, at LEAST, let him be pretty.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/21 09:25 PM

If my man was only nice to me, I'd take that as a serious red flag lol

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
