If neither does, the pregnancy is terminated. There ought to be laws that state women should announce their pregnancies to the father before 22 weeks so he can say whether he wants to participate. We live in a modern society where our entire existence is based on mitigating the consequences of our actions. Athletes take risks playing dangerous sports, and get paid to do it.
