I am confused to whether you want to advocate for men's rights or bash feminists. Both sort of. Men's rights is a group that is basically the counterpart of what people call feminism. There are many under looked problems men have in society -- such as circumcision/male genital mutilation. It's also pretty anti-third wave feminism because third wave feminists tend to underplay men's issues and overplay minor things/spread misinformation/etc.

Similar thing happened to me, OP. I filed a title ix complaint and they HAD to compensate for me. But I didn't follow up on actually taking the self-defense class.

Really these classes should be "how to avoid situations like these". For instance, never comply with the aggressor. Never relocate with the person who is holding you hostage. Do everything possible. In fact, it should be a general self-defense class. Self-defense is encompassing.

There was a military cadence about the soldier coming home to find his girlfriend cheating on him. The song goes to say that the soldier raped his girlfriend and murdered the man. Feminists became outraged at the rape part and only the rape part.
