1	Thoughts? Who was? I do believe the US was too with France and UK (WW2) The US also joined WW1 due to the Zimmerman Telegram and the bombing of non-combative boats. In WW2 the US declared war on Japan only after an attack on Pearl Harbor, the US then had war declared by Germany so we obviously went into it.
