I apologize. I did misread your post. I'm a terrible multitasker.

You can persuade many people to leave a secular cult with patience, understanding and reason.

I would agree there are bad people. Who are bad and what is good? If you believe you have no power, this is your opportunity to persuade the audience in this thread they should give you power. People who have power do not give it away for free. It's difficult to persuade people that they should change what they believe because you believe. This is your opportunity. I don't have an opinion on circumcision. I will say that conflated arguments lose audiences. Without an audience your opportunity to…

That's an argument for no change. What use is a movement that doesn't want change. I don't have the answer but I'm open to hearing proposals. I get that as men we don't want to be part of a movement. However, that shouldn't stand in the way of people who truly believe there is a problem that needs a solution.

That's my argument. Explain to me I'm wrong? This is how discourse in a democracy creates positive change. I'll listen to and discuss this until we can agree or agree to disagree. I won't entertain irrational dogma.

Should we pass laws restricting sexual behavior? We don't live in Victorian times. All the ideas of feminism come from Victorian times?

Great response. There is no good ideas in the majority because bad ideas keep the majority in power. The check on power is the minority opinion. Two questions serve as anecdotal evidence. Why isn't there a movement for free more expression? Why isn't there a movement for nuclear disarmament? Free expression has rightful primacy of power. Free expression wins every time and that's why whatever disagreement exists for less free speech can be easily dismissed. It's a good idea that has stood many p…

I agree that this forum for discussion is being deliberately suppress in the culture of social media. It takes time for any "movement" to make it the broader political discourse. If a left wing guy like me, was curious enough to lurk on this sub and read before making a judgement. I'd say it's a positive indication that what you're doing is gaining a broader audience. Be patient, be decent, exercise your right to free expression without fear of the consequence, welcome criticism, and self critic…

It's objectively true that men are more aggressive and physically abuse more often than women. That shouldn't negate that fact that women and men should be legally punished for physical assault and battery, we have laws for punishing. The discussion should be more laws? Require harsher punishments? Limit use of discretion judges have to evaluate the abuse situation and decide the punishment under the law? How do we determine "equality of abuse?" I think we can all agree that our legal system is …

Shunning is a tactic of cults. Think about that.

There is a hookup culture and you can draw a straight line from feminism to hookup culture and rape culture. Feminism gains political power and feminist suffer the consequences. Feminism is a secular religion with sects and cults.

I agree with her that men have "enough" rights, but women have "enough rights. Moreover, we live in a democracy. White females are a majority within a majority that exercises the right to vote in greater numbers than men. How in this system are white women oppressed? Who has created and continues to promote feminism? Who benefits most from feminism? The majority of the ideas in feminism were created by white women for the benefit of white women. The only conclusion is there is no "oppressor" of …

I think we have to be thoughtful and careful as individuals. I think we should judge slowly because we are all in an extreme political climate. We're using technology that we no historical context that we can use to understand the effects of this technology. As a society we're trying, to make sense of "effects" of "causes" that are not well defined or understood. This two party system is not the sources of ideologies. The two parties are a refuge for interests that need political power to surviv…

Thank you for the response. I'm surprised by all of the responses, but I understand that "tension" between men and women is causing a great deal of suffering for both men and women. We have a two party system in the US. So, as voters, we're always left with making a choice between the lesser of two evils. I think most people understand this. I don't think most, myself included, are asking ourselves the right questions. How much compassion does our political system permit us to feel for our fello…

I’ve lurked in the sub for a little while now. When I first heard of “men’s rights” it sounded like a right wing reactionary protest, just more political bs. I think I’m the typical “you just need to suck it up” guy. However, I see that’s not what this is. This is young men being falsely accused of rape, false claims of domestic violence, fathers separated from their children, etc. I’ve only recently come to understand the big picture. I’ve been politically left my entire 46 years of life. I und…

Read "How to Cheat Your Friends at Poker: The Wisdom of Dickie Richard" by Penn Jillette. Hint: the wisdom of Dickie Richard is understanding you don't want to be a Dickie Richard.

If you're going to spend your money and time learning, spend your money on a couple of magic tricks. Learn and observe behavior from a biological perspective rather than a psychological perspective. Don't waste your money on a dating coach or "training." Buy a couple of small magic tricks that you can carry everywhere you go and start approaching women. Spend your time learning biology/neurobiology from lectures from experts in the field. PUAs/dating experts are wasting your time and money. Magi…

It’s the optics of the setting. The vibe from a store full of items I would buy for long term resident in my home conflicts with the vibe I want on a first date.

OK, I'm an older guy and I don't date often go out with women under 30, however I'm not a stickler for rules. I have noticed a big "generational" difference with under 30 girls. Under 30 girls are definitely different.

You're best option is to move on. She flaked 15 minutes before the date. If she wanted to see you she would made the date, this is an opportunity to exercise self discipline by walking away. Don't even answer her message. I get that your into her but right now your reading to much into one girl. Go with self discipline to build up self respect. If you don't have truly respect yourself, no one else is going to respect you. Remember this because it's the truth: you WANT to lose the girl that's goi…

In general, the simple answer is make him feel like he's seducing you. If you believe in "soul mates" or "the one," you need to understand that's all bull shit. The best way to make yourself less attractive to a guy is to talk about soul mates and start imagining he's "the one." As a woman, I imagine you've got your eyes on your "one." You don't want to believe that there is no "one" person that's made for you, but I promise you that believing in "the one" is why guys you like lose interest.
