| -2 | Petition to support the Cleveland bus driver, Artis Hughes, who fought back against his female passagerEven if she were a man it would still be an unproportional retaliation. She slapped him, he hit her full force with the fist. I'm right there with you; if she acts like a man she should be treated like a man. But his response just wasn't appropriate no matter whether the attacker was male or female. He could have pushed her out of the bus (or something like that) but instead he opted to strike her down. | /r/MensRights | 14/10/12 06:20 PM |
| -4 | Petition to support the Cleveland bus driver, Artis Hughes, who fought back against his female passagerI was about to sign the petition because after reading the description I totally supported its cause. However, after watching the video I'm not so sure anymore. The bus driver didn't just "fight back", he gave the woman a hook to the chin (is "uppercut" the correct English term?) and this seems to be a way too extreme reaction to this situation. | /r/MensRights | 14/10/12 05:17 PM |
| 41 | Baby is a different race than the father? Don't take a paternity test, think of what you could lose(crosspost from WTF)From the article: Many men have, of course, ended up raising children who were not genetically their own, but really, does it matter? It may not matter if you can raise the child. But if you're just the dude who pays child support and is never allowed to see the child, then it's a whole different story. This article just makes me sick. | /r/MensRights | 07/10/12 02:18 PM |
| 5 | TV writer/producer Joss Whedon is doing an AMA - he's on the advisary board of "Equality Now".I won't deny that there's discriminiation and violence against women especially in those countries but it's not exclusively women. There's violence against men aswell and there's too many organizations which tend to ignore these issues or even deny them. | /r/MensRights | 10/04/12 07:14 PM |
