Don't bother. The guys on this sub will never stop deliberately misinterpreting "male privilege" or "toxic masculinity".

Yep, before feminism women never had any reason to fear men.

Subway spreading. Legs spreading way past shoulder width, preventing others from sitting. This is what people complain about. Man sitting with his legs apart but not spreading. No one has any problem with this, because your legs are the same width apart as your shoulders.

The chair is a joke. The actual manspreading debate has always been about guys to sit with legs parallel, not knees touching.

I'm convinced 90% of the dudes who complain about this have never been on public transit, and think the only alternative to spreading is holding you're knees together like you're trying to crush a walnut.

When you stand, you're not squeezing your balls then, right? Your thighs are parallel then, not spread, and all we have to do when we sit on public transit is the exact same configuration. "Not spreading" is not the same as squeezing your grapes in a vice.

You know that thing where people assume you don't know shit and explain stuff to you that you already know? Some men do this to women a lot more than men. I'm understand that things are different area, but there are large swaths of the country where the fraction of women who describe themselves as feminists is damn near all of them while the fraction of those that spout this kind of shit is that one girl from high school. It's just a small corner of the broad spectrum of feminists that gets filtered to the top of our sub-based filter bubbles. And those people are THE WORST, but the sheer volume of that data doesn't make it a representative sample.…

On reddit, women aren't allowed to stay stupid shit without being held up as typical representatives of all feminists. Someday, we'll judge movements based on their best proponents rather than by the most insane assholes our cyberbubbles can filter into our feeding trough.
