Infanticide is always controversial because they are so lenient on them. I think the charge of infanticide is weakened when you keep getting pregnant and doing it over and over again. Infanticide is supposed to be about a mental state you are in immediately after giving birth. By the third time you can no longer claim this is some state she is in, it is premeditated.
