This is hilariously stupid, but let’s double down. Use some kind of AI program to create your imaginary new girlfriend. But base it on your ex. Yep, have it look an awful lot like her. Same taste in clothes. But visibly bigger tits. Your ex will roll her eyes so hard that she’ll fall out of her chair and painfully bump her elbow. That’ll teach her!

I agree. She mostly sounds young. (We don’t really see the husband here.) We just see her, not being very good at choosing her path, or at making an effort, and at last having the good sense to get out of the wrong marriage. The incredible, unbelievable chaos you see in some marriages (and divorces) is absent here. Nobody setting a car on fire, or torturing pets, or blowing every penny in Vegas to avoid “giving her a cent”—at least that isn’t here.

We can’t know what OP was told, but what he absorbed was not actually worth $800. “Divorce? Yeah, man, anything could happen! Might be forced out of your home even! You need a therapist!”

Medical doctors are one of the jobs where the divorcing spouse can routinely demand a part of the doctor’s future earnings—paid in advance as a lump sum. We are talking about millions of dollars. Especially in cases like this, where the spouse supported the doctor through medical school, a huge settlement is appropriate. Lawyer up, OP.

Some of the worst divorces are the divorces that didn’t happen. I’m visiting my elderly parents. They can turn the most innocuous conversation into a fight. It’s fascinating how many techniques they have for turning and twisting words and situations into mutual punishment. I almost feel like I should videotape fights over, for example, where the salt should be on the dinner table. I could use these demonstrations as illustrations of the works of masters of misery.

Why is divorce so expensive? Because it is worth it! You get one life. Don’t be miserable.

Marriage is like a job. Like, the difference between no job (and no income) and having a decent job (and decent income) is HUGE. Only a few people have great jobs, and they usually have to work really hard to earn the great job. Marry well or even “merely ok” and it is very worth it. Marrying badly is

Maybe she has a man on her mind. Maybe she doesn’t. It’s like quitting a job. Sometimes you have another job lined up. Sometimes you just can’t stay, no matter what.

She’s a stay at home mom, with three kids, and she’s initiating the separation? OP, does she have no money? OP, are you paying for everything?! Life Rule: Do not pay other people to abuse you. Lawyer up. Now. If you can (after getting legal advice), stop depositing paychecks into shared accounts. If possible, cancel any credit cards you are paying for or jointly own.

As long as you aren’t scared, and are enjoying the man’s company, don’t worry about it. We think there’s some way to get a guaranteed outcome. There isn’t. Luck is a big part of life. Your handsome, well-adjusted man can get hit by a car. The vegan athlete will suddenly discover an old flame on Facebook. Reasonable caution and optimism will get you through life, one day at a time. Date the damaged guy who needs a friend. If it’s not fun, stop.

I get really weird messages sometimes. On a “Keto” diet subreddit, a scammer asked dieting advice in a DM and then sent what was purportedly a keto website link but looked too sketchy to open. Every niche has little niche scammers.

The 6 years includes supporting his STBX during medical school and residency and sacrificing building his career, as well as being the main child care provider. (Unless I misunderstand.). If my understanding is correct, he should at least have 50% custody and the right to participate or veto decisions on medical and educational issues, and he should get a percentage of his STBX’s earnings from the medical practice which OP made possible. I have read of women divorcing male doctors, (New York Tim…

In the USA, inheritance taxes only affect the super-rich. Millions of dollars can be passed down tax free.

Japan has a very significant inheritance and gift tax, and it kicks in at relatively low levels. Fo example, I have heard Japanese people say things like “My parents left me a house, but to pay the inheritance taxes, I had to sell the house.” (Actually, I think family homes get some special reduced tax treatment, but I just offer that as an illustration.)

Divorce not required. Read the book “No More Mr. Nice Guy”, get some hobbies, spend time with your friends and in the gym, don’t provide her with money.

I would start with reading the book “No More Mr. Nice Guy”, which is NOT about being mean, but is about not putting yourself in the position of believing that if you do what she wants, she should be nice to (and have sex with) you. The book calls these ideas “covert contracts”, since only one person knows about this imaginary contract. Because she is financially dependent on you, withdrawing support will be met with hysterical bonding. You might enjoy it, but it’s not a good thing. Instead, befo…

That plan, and many similar but more complex plans, are fraud. Even if it happens when you are still married (but in anticipation of divorce). Google “fraudulent conveyance”. Sometimes it’s reversed, and the divorce is faked to stop creditors from getting assets. Ideally, you just get a good prenuptial agreement, where both parties have their own lawyers. Other than that, maybe invest in your own good health and happiness. The time and energy you put into exercising and having real friends will …

A lot of ideas related to sales will be useful in seduction. “How to Win Friends” is a classic. Zig Ziglar has a lot of popular sales talks (now audiobooks and also on Spotify.) “The Game” was good and vastly popularized the seduction community, and the sequels (where the author rejects seduction after it gets him everything that he wanted) are also interesting. Mystery’s book (wth various diagrams) was also kind of interesting,

A woman seeking revenge for feeling humiliated or used after sex, even if the “being used” was just not satisfying her unspoken expectations (or even spoken but ignored, like, “you’re going to call me? So now we’re dating?”) isn’t exactly the same as crazy, is it?

Even though the message is not well-delivered, it’s a good point. Not getting what you wanted is not the same as being the victim of a violent crime.

Wake up needing a wheel-chair? I’m confused. Is gay sex supposed to cause spinal injuries?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/19 08:48 PM

Exactly right. And, just because I’m prone to pushing buttons, this is why a man should arrange a reliable source of sexual release, so that he can pursue pure love without narrowing the pool of potential partners by their sexual availability/prowess.

It’s actually not 100% true, particularly for women who either have their own money or for those who could have money but reject the compromises required.

In Japan, the minimum acceptable height for guys used to be 170 cm (about 5’7”) but maybe now it’s 180 (just over 5’10”).

Women are sexually in demand during their years of fertility, and men of basically all ages pursue them, so, just as a numbers game, women experience constant demand. Men experience constant shortage (rock stars and 100% gay guys not included here). But the good news for guys is, you’ll be popular in the nursing home, since men die earlier.

First save those screenshots to your computer (for both her and her spouse). Print out the hard copies and put them in a file. Then, if you are able to, see if they have any wedding photos, or comments (“congratulations”) from their Facebook friends. If you find some, save and print screenshots of those, too. Talk to your lawyer about this. Let him follow up. It’s probably better if you do not confront anyone yourself.

Wasn’t something like this on SNL’s fake news? I seem to recall, “the young man is currently in the hospital, in stable condition after suffering dangerous levels of high-fiving.”

I’m not able to access that group. But the fact that pictures of naked girls exist does not indicate a particular girl will particularly send you photos.

The way you get nudes is to get into a relationship where she trusts you. It also helps if the girl is drunk or high. Asking directly for nudes is generally a losing strategy.
