What you describe is a typical behavior of an introvert with ADHD. He exists in his world like in a bubble; the outside detects as a background, which he experiences as an observant rather than an active participant. Yes, he needs an external effort to go out of the bubble and be with you, your effort. It's biology; setting boundaries will destroy your relationship. Be happy with what you have, and let the guy be how his nature dictates it.

He knows that girl, they are friends. Where they met initially is irrelevant. I have several female friends; we met on Tinder initially as well. There was nothing anything romantic or sexual between us, ever.

After reading more of your posts. You've been together just 5 months, it's not enough time to develop a profound attachment. It means the breakup triggered some of your insecurities, it's not that your heart is really broken. Now consider this. You've never had sex with your boyfriend because of your vaginismus. You seem prone to creating drama over small issues and discussing it online. You have posted around 15 posts about your boyfriend on Reddit during these 5 months. In these posts you comp…

I wouldn't take an ex's opinion seriously. That could be entirely made up. Moreover, to get an objective picture, it's better to listen to the views of men you are not dating. Male friends, brothers, even your father. What kind of men are you dating? Where do you find them? How often do you go on dates?

I don't know, I am a guy, and it sounds super weird to me. I care only about what is under underwear. I make love with a person, not with her underwear. Our bond, connection, and how we care about each other during the act is the most important thing, not a piece of clothes. I would say it's a red flag.

Oh, and another thing... According to him, you are too boring without a picnic. Really? I understand two people, after living together for 20 years, can be boring to each other. But on the first date??? If you are already too boring to him, what will be when you are in a relationship?

For what it's worth, I am a guy. His behavior sounds strange, even from my guy's perspective. You are supposed to collaborate in a relationship, but he sounds like it's either my way or highway. Not only that, he also puts additional chores on you to drive him around. If I want a picnic, I will organize and plan it up to the smallest detail, bring all equipment and all groceries, and pick up my lady. It's because I want a picnic; therefore, she doesn't have to do anything. Since he is without a …

I applaud his honesty, though he withheld this information at first. Theoretically, it can be entirely innocuous. I am male; I have known a female friend for a decade, whom I've met on a dating website. We never had anything sexual, not even touches; we are indeed just friends. However, we both were single. What he is doing is disrespectful, regardless of the type of communication with another girl. The only excuse is he is too young and doesn't understand that. I made stupid mistakes like him a…

The first meeting should be short and simple. You risk not only being stranded with a guy in a place you cannot leave quickly with an excuse. You must also drive him back, even if things go wrong. The scenario is asking for a disaster. There is no need to be bitchy. Suggest meeting for a coffee near where he lives.

Most of her material makes sense. However, sometimes, she says something so strange that it makes me question the rest. For example, a woman's hierarchy of the most important things in her life must be God, then her husband. I am a dude, but I was, "wtf? really?" Or that if men organize something, it's always neat and friendly, but as women manage something, it's always messy. I would like to see statistics for this; I don't believe it.

This is a nice summary from a woman: https://youtube.com/shorts/mCJo4lTKiAo

For what it's worth, I can't entirely agree with many of her points, especially in the old videos. Teaching men to find red flags in women is not constructive. Nowadays, for an average guy to find a woman is quite tricky, so as a guy, you either have to accept red flags or stay single. But as you said, she is level-headed, and much of her material makes sense.

How about Courtney Ryan? Her YouTube channel might be a good source of ideas. She is not an extremist like Pearl.

It's up to you what you do. I am just saying, probably, if you want a high-value man who by definition has no problem with the choice of women, you might want to rethink the "I can't help that I have trauma" attitude.

Dealing with trauma doesn't mean things will go away. For example, if you are aware of your trauma and think it can be a problem for your partner, then dealing with it would equate to not having a partner. This would be a responsible way. Why do you want to make the life of another person miserable? The question is rhetoric.

I agree that the OP definitely can help herself with her trauma. "I can't help that I have trauma" is not the right attitude to be considered a high-value.

"Not seeing other women" is stretchable. He could, on the day you met. Or even if he hadn't been seeing other women for some time, "having attention" is different from "seeing other women."

I think you are mistaken that he saw you as a high-value woman. If he did, neither spirituality nor trauma talks would make any difference. He probably has the attention of other women, so it was a question of, "Do I want to spend more time on her?" Since he didn't see your value, the answer was "no".

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
