When I was 10 two elementary school teachers took me aside in a small room to keep pressing me on things until I started crying to which they said "and NOW the tears are coming" I also had to apologize in front of two different classrooms full of kids i didnt know for writing up a field trip report that wasnt exclusively praise. My dad was royally pissed and made the two teachers apologize to me in front of the (incompetent) principal.

Kids really aren't that expensive. These people pretend having children equals instant bankruptcy. If you're half responsible with your money you'll be fine, and if you're not you shouldn't be having children for different reasons.
