Men never had complete responsibility for providing for their family. Men had the financial responsibility, or the equivalent of that. Women did all the care taking, including making meals, making clothes, everything. No..only if their opinion were that women are only good for their vaginas or are meant to look pretty. My dad was simply not like that and neither was my grandpa. My grandpa was a very honorable person.

My mom was an engineer in the 60's. I heard plenty from her. I did not take much seriously until I met my inlaws, who are pigs. It used to be a fight for equality. Now it is for supremacy. Those who identify as feminist these days rarely want their rights to be equal to men.
