If someone has to loudly proclaim how much they are "over something", it's a tacit admission they aren't over it. Block him and move on. He's too old for her anyway.

You need to consult a lawyer. You have legal rights and there is a process by which you can kick him out.

All of us are socially programmed. It's a matter of who among us is intelligent enough to acknowledge that truth and work to overcome it. The women being discussed here tend to fall into three categories: validation seekers, those who use sex to get something, and women who just like sex. Of the three, the later scares the shit out of men. It's an ego bruising they can't handle. It's why they all invariably end up on this same site crying about how they cheat because wifey won't put out. Well ye…

And he'll be on reddit after he marries in a few year complaining about being in a dead bedroom. These men are so dumb.

She's thicc and pretty with a waist. These men would faint if she directed her morning breath in their direction. I don't want to hear their incel crying.

Lol poor people get married on this planet all the time. If you are broke, go to the courthouse. A wedding is a party, a marriage is what you are after. The question is: Why do you want to be married and what do you want that marriage to be? I use "you" generally rather than specifically in this context.

He could have parked it somewhere and slept. Reddit males and their pick me horde can't seem to treat men like adults. He wouldn't have done anything for her. His dumbass should have parked it, locked the doors, and slept. And why doesn't he have money for food? I'm sure there's gas stations on the way.

You have to remember the solution for everything around here seems to be improve your looks. That has a diminishing return though and heaven forbid that be acknowledged. Maybe you are just in a dry spell right now. It happens. Or I hear it does, i've seen that with friends. I can't say personally as I am a desert lol. Maybe this is just a slow time for you right now and that's OK. I'm sure you are attractive. We aren't for everyone and that is ok.

It depends where you are at i think. I can't say for sure as I've never attracted the male gaze. Sometimes, I think you need to find a different audience. We all want to feel attractive and desired. You have to remember a lot of the comments come from women who are "at the top of the heap" so to speak. They don't have the experience of being unwanted and can't truly answer the question. It may be your audience. We become more insulated as we approach 30 and it's harder to break out of that. I'm …

. We are to know our place and live within that box then. The idea that we are all hot women with our DMs exploding on a daily basis is silly. Most people don't know I'm alive. Men don't notice me and never have. The vibe I've gotten through this whole post is this isn't the place for me as I don't fit that mold. I'm back to lurking, have fun ladies

This is the truth. At 38, I've seen a huge shift in the workplace. 2007-8 happened and many men never got back into the workforce. I see so many women my age with worthless boyfriends/husbands who don't work. It baffles me. Almost all the houses around me are occupied by couples where the man doesn't work while the woman slaves away. Meanwhile I'm over here getting ready to refinance my house solely into my name, have good credit, and money in the bank all while being a single mom.

Time. Sounds cliche, but that's what helped. Cut off all contact and give yourself time. I've been divorced three years. I knew it was better when I didn't even mentally register my divorce anniversary date. My bestie reminded me but only because she was telling me how proud she was of me. Edit caused I've been drinking that bubbly sangria, sorry hon

People project their bullshit on to is or get all threatened by people with a different outlook. I've been weird all my life, I'm used to this behaviour. I have a wandering eye and that alone sets people off. You gotta pay the cost if you stand out, just a fact of life But either way, imma keep being me and I suggest all y'all ladies do the same.

Women can't win. It's a sad fact. I've been harrassed in my lifetime but I don't discuss it. Most people wouldn't believe me. I have the opposite issue that people think I'm ugly and no one would harass me. Pretty women are a big walking target who are often asked to suck it up. It's all gross. Many people have feelings of inadequacy when confronted by attractive women, but it's not something they readily admit to.

Stating a fact is not saying "this is right". It is merely stating what is true. It wasn't a normative argument. Like it or not, going to HR puts a target on you.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/02/20 01:56 PM
6

I agree, in principle, with going to HR. But in practice? No. You did nothing wrong, but never go to HR unless you are ok with having to leave your job. HR exists to protect the company, not its employees. I hope this works out for you. Lay low for awhile.

This is empirical false. Some people feel better after a rant, but for others the responses merely embolden them to continue in their anger. Most of the incel subs make their participants more angry, despondent, or depressed.

Abusive relationships rarely start out that way. Most of the time, the abuse doesn't start until several years in. And many times, it starts around the time a woman gets pregnant or after she has kids. People like to pretend all outcomes are predictable when they aren't. It happens on this sub too. Many men will switch up on you after they think you're stuck in the relationship.

DO NOT TELL HIM YOU ARE SEEING A LAWYER! Say nothing until you leave and have filed. Collect all the financial information you can. See every decent lawyer in the city to conflict your husband out. Research your state's assistance programs for education. With two children, you will qualify for Grant's. Many states offer free community college for adults. If you can't pull out cash without being notices, buy gift cards when you get your groceries/gas. I didn't have a job when I divorced as my son…

Hm, I think the apps are a symptom of a problem rather than the creators of the trend. People these days are very much averse to risk. More so than I've ever seen. Perhaps it's coming of age after 9/11, the great recession, etc 🤷‍♀️. To give of yourself emotionally is a risk. You can really get hurt. Family? Another risk. You get tied to something. When relationships are about "personal fulfillment " they are going to be unstable. No one can fulfill you. In my own life, relationships have never …

I can't watch that show. The first few episodes just put me off. Joe is a creep and I can't believe people actually empathized with him. Misogyny isn't just for women like Beck, though. I'm far from attractive and get hate when I refuse men. People act as if i should be happy anyone notices me. ETA: Misogyny is so rampant even women can't empathize with other women.

Genetic testing is available for specific conditions. If you would have read the link it states the chances of passing down the illness are 1 in 4 if BOTH parents carry the gene. All humans carry 6 to 10 recessive mutations, by your own logic, you should never reproduce.

https://www.illumina.com/science/education/genomics-101/genes-inherited-diseases.html You cannot look at a person and tell they carry a genetic abnormality. You cannot look at a person and tell they have an kind of hereditary illnesses unless it manifests physically. So no, you would likely never be able to tell a person is genetically fit by looking at them. It's an ignorant, deeply ableist statement.

the CF sub strikes me as very misogynist. It's also deeply ableist. If you don't want kids, fine. Many of my friends are CF, but they don't hate children and their mothers.

Odd that Brooks wrote this article considering his messy ass family life. I feel like he's describing white family relations. He mentions black families in passing, but most non-white people are like black americans too. My father is mexican and mom is white. The coworker is stupid enough to do it. She's been entertaining this idiot for ages. She knows damn well what's going on. Of course they don't want her to move out. They'd have to pay rent if she did. So many women don't get that men will use you for a lot more than sex. That's why I don't date, I know what will happen to me . Move out and let these parasites rot.

I don't have stats. It was just s figure of speech, sorry. I'm ugly too which compounds the issue. The options are not good. I don't get hit on. Men don't know I'm alive pretty much. I tried OLD once and the only guys that liked me were ugly. So I can pretty reliably figure out what the end result will be. Life has just been very unkind to me. No matter, I'll be dead one day 🤷‍♀️

My dad was in his early 20s when I happened, so I'm not sure how to explain how I turned out looking like ass 🤷‍♀️ I was also 27 when my kid was born, ex is the same age. Still ended up with an autistic kid anyway. Some of us just get tragic lives and that's that.

This is true. In my case, I divorced knowing I would never have another child or be in another romantic relationship because of my circumstances. I did it anyway. There's a cost to be paid in all choices. You can hope for the best, but it may not happen. Standards only mean something if you can maintain them in difficult times.

You have the right to not see anyone you want. You don't need a good reason. It's not a matter of doing anything wrong. If you don't want to see someone, then you don't have to. We feel this external pressure to justify not giving men a chance because of society's expectations of women. You have to work on letting that go. Sometimes you will feel or be seen as the bad guy. Oh well 🤷‍♀️
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/02/20 06:48 PM

Cause most of those men aren't really CF. They just don't want kids with that woman. When they meet the woman they want, they'll suddenly are not CF. I see it all the damn time.

Alright, I'm gonna be that realistic person : journalism is hard to get into. It's a very nepotistic, prestige driven industry. If you don't know the right people or go to the right schools, it's hard to break in. I'm not saying it's impossible, just that it's exceedingly difficult. In the meantime, you need to eat. You should consider applying at some corporate focused temp agencies. Things like robert half or special counsel. You can luck out and get an entry level job that gets you healthcare…

This tends to be my experience. If I wanted to get laid, that would be easy. Men will screw anything that moves for the most part. But that doesn't mean they'll stay. I don't date anymore as I know men won't commit. The truth is people want easy lives. If you can't offer that, you are likely to have a hard time finding a partner. That's just my experience, in my set of circumstances. I don't think it applies to most women.

One of the women who worked in an outer office killed herself over the weekend. She had a baby last year. I'm not sure what was going on. I do block people after non-contact so maybe it's happened and I don't know,🤷‍♀️. I haven't tried to date in over a year. I'm old, ugly, and have an autistic kid. I'd get bottom feeders. I assume most of the dudes who would come back are of that sort and block before it can even happen. Maybe in your case you give off a vibe that the dude can't come back period, so they don't try.

First, measure yourself. You need to know exactly what you are working with. Your natural waist is located where your torso bends. Bend to the side and put your finger where it folds. That is your waist. I know how basic that was, but too many women think it's located at their belly button. O shop at modcloth, unique vintage, trashy diva, pinupgirlclothing, and various other places. My style is specific though. Avoid fast fashion like the devil and lvm.

I tend to look at runway shows/celebs and do the opposite of what I see cause I'm immature like that. But really, the main thing is finding things that work for your body. I clock in at 45-35-46 at 5'7. Yes, I'm fat lol. I have a short torso to boot. I tend to go for certain shapes. I also love weird prints and retro styles. I'd say it depends on the print. A classic floral in a good fabric can look good, but cheap fabrics and really trendy patterns tend to look bad. Most of the good prints I have were a bit spendy. The shape is also important. I love weird prints though. I'm ugly anyway so I get away with a lot.

And here's the kicker: it's to everyone's benefit if you abstain from dating when you are in a bad situation. It may be a financial crisis, a mental health crisis, dealing with family matters, worrying about your career, etc. When you are in an acute crisis, you are more vulnerable to people who do not have your best interests at heart.

Uh yeah, no. This lady is just using very strong lighting in her "youthful" look to blow out most of her features. I suspect she's using a filter as well. You dont go from one skin tone to another without doing that. Charlotte tillbury uses shimmer on anyone at any age and still manages to make them look great. She'll use shimmer in the crease and not care. This is just bad technique.

I think you should walk away from dating for awhile. My handle is an apt description of myself, but I don't loathe myself. I don't believe I should be treated badly. Never internalize the judgements of others. You live in a deeply racist society, yes their beauty standards will reflect that, but it says nothing about you. I've been single since 2016 and in this time my self esteem has greatly improved. Considering talking with a therapist and focusing on doing things to improve your happiness.

Written by an awful therapist who uses her client's stories as fodder for her books. She should be barred from practicing. Her insistence on settling has done her no good as she can't seem to find anyone worth settling on.

Here's something wild: Did y'all know Ivana trump's dad was head of then communist Hungary's intelligence? He was basically a KGB agent. Melania has a shit ton of family with FSB connections. This has led to the rumors that Trump had a handler for years, and it was Ivana. Most of these men are so arrogant they think they can't be played and this makes them especially vulnerable to being fooled.

Because office politics is underhanded. You are probably fairly young. I'm 38 and have seen a lot petty crap in work place politics. It may seem fine at first but when things go south, it's hard to fix. I've watched people lose their jobs over stuff that happened at off hours hangouts.

Do not engage. Just don't do it. Yes, this is tragic, but you can't do anything about this that won't put your livelihood at risk. ETA: Be careful about off hours socializing with coworkers. It can end very badly. I don't do it.

There is a lot of truth to this. Technology has given men the illusion of choice. It also creates analysis paralysis for people. Think of it like going to the grocery store and seeing 100 brands of ketchup. It's a bit overwhelming right? It's the same concept on the internet. Back in the day, they'd be regulated to their neighbors, church members, coworkers, friends of friends, etc.

I don't get grown ass adults who truly believe they should be the center of someone's world. If you are over 25, you probably have obligations. Grown people understand this fact of life. My son is nonverbal and autistic. I don't even bother dating because I know damn well I'm not going to find anyone, but damn - if you can't handle the fact that sometimes you take a backseat in life, you shouldn't be in any adult relationship.

The sad thing is many men end up miserable because of their own dumb instincts. One of the purposes of life, according to Marcus Aurelius, was to rise above animal instincts. Simply because something is natural does not mean it's good for your well being. Many men marry someone then wake up years later realizing they don't even know this person they married. Nature betrayed them. The problem is compounded by technology. We have superficial relationships based on what we "like". Think star wars f…

Even most of the dancing is to impress women. Men would dance in their best outfits to impress their partners. Even my ancestors, mayan/aztec danced and did feats of strength for women. Men have bio clocks. They won't admit it, but they do. I think they sense father time gaining on them. They wonder who will care for them, what their legacy will be. But men won't admit their fears. Better for women to think men never age and can breed forever. I'm 37. I'm ambivalent about having another kid as I only have one, but I'd adopt with little hesitation. Most men who really wanted kids have had them by 40.

Sounds more like a humble brag to me. But, I have to say this is a real thing. There are men I know who are attracted fat women. I'm not saying overweight, I mean obese. You explained it better than I could. At this age, everyone has baggage. That's part of reality. The men who don't are suspect. I don't extend my feelings on this to women as we are dealing with patriarchy. Women in my experience are also better at functioning outside of romantic relationships.

I may get some pushback here, but one of my rules is this: men 35+ who have not been in a serious relationship at least once are suspect. At this age, it's inevitable you've been married or at least engaged once. If he never has done either one of those, it's rarely ever for a good reason. It's normally an overgrown man child with a limp dick who finally feels father time clawing at his butt and is looking for a nurse. Reality is it never gets easier, these men never get better 😫

Mmmmhmmm, and they age most of these guys. There's commander riker sexy beard, and there's everyone else. It adds about 10 years to most guys and looks unkempt for the most part. It's also trendy as hell and screams "no personality ".

Crochet, computer programming, painting, video games. I have an entire room full of yarn. Ready to make baby blankets on a moments notice 🤣 I am the motherfucking matriarch.

It's entirely possible for a guy to be asexual. It's rare, but they do exist. Not sure about this one 🤷‍♀️

Can't say I blame her. Can you imagine what a organized and balanced world we would live in under matriarchy?

I hope for this kid's sake that she gets her shit together 😐. Women need to stop believing the lie that fatherhood changes men. It rarely ever does. There's a lady in my office who has a six month old off a situationship with a guy who doesn't even make 12 dollars an hour and has another baby momma to boot. Took his to court and got less than a 100 a month. Was crying to me about needing a second job. All because she thought a baby would finally get her a ring again. Sad. If men change, it's for…

And you have to worry about them physically harming you if you reject them in person. Ghosting is the way to go, sad fact.

I got divorced. 2016 was my hell year. I spent the year desperately trying to find a job after graduating at 33 in December of 2015. It was an endless stream of rejection. I also have a son who is nonverbal and autistic. I was unable to work for almost 6 years as they don't make child care for kids like him. He also didn't start kindergarten until fall of 2016. I felt hopeless. My ex was always on the lazy side, but he did work. But we were constantly in crisis. The bank account was always negat…

I have to say, I've met quite a few men who were raised to clean who still pull the BS the op references. Moms can only do so much in this patriarchy.

Honey, you are 18. You are way to young to attach yourself that strongly to a man. Focus on you and what you want. Trust your feelings. They are telling you something. It's ok to walk away if this doesn't suit you. Don't get caught up in sunk costs. On the real long-distance rarely works, less so at your age. I'm 37 and from Tennessee, sorry if my language seems odd. We just talk all sweet here.

No, it's casual disrespect. Please trust your instincts. I made the mistake at your age of discounting my feelings. If you feel uncomfy, trust that. Your feelings are telling you something.

I got off all OLD except for OKC because, for some odd reason, it refuses to let me delete my profile. Every profile is the same bullshit. Some man waxing on about loving travel, looking for adventures , etc. That's if they even fill the bio out at all. This is why I'm glad to be ugly. These men miss me with their BS and I can live in peace 🤣
