Dude... you're taking this way too far.

There's way too much speculation here. We don't know the situation from this alone. If he said he was buying and then made her pay, he's a dick. If he didn't make that claim, or if she ordered more than he initially offered, she's in thw wrong. But we don't know either way. This is a waste of time.

Just read through the link they provided. I found a few issues. It doesn't tell you the questions used. It mentions that of the 4 asked, some may have actually been about sexual assault or attempted actions rather than committed rape. The study doesnt actually do any study. It's pulling its numbers fro i'm 2 prior studies which are 15 years apart. Why were those studies chosen? How were they conducted? Why is the recent one a poll of a single unanamed college over 4 years but only has 900 studen…

Im also an adult man. What the hell does that have to do with this? Seriously, no idea why you brought that up...??? Didnt ask if you cared. Didnt tell people how to speak. Only said that agressive arguments dont lead to peaceful results. If you want to make one despite that i dont care.

Encouraging real discussion instead of aggressive arguing is bad now? Interesting. Never said i was special, or even emplied it. Also didnt really call them dicks. It was just a blunt way to skip iver a very minor part of the argument. I've already made that clear.
/r/MensRights03/10/18 03:55 PM

Lmao And, if you're really wondering, you were the minor point i glossed over. The major point was somethjng else.

Well, we didnt see any of what happened before this. Chances are he tried to settle this calmly at first. Most cops dont want to waste their time fucking around with people. Im not saying this was justified, on li y that it's unfair to assume that peacful actions weren't taken.

I.. i called him a dick already. Ive already talked to both of them. One calmed down and even made a joke. The other still hasn't replied. I criticized both their actions and told them both directly. You're a little late to the party, friend. Glad you could join us. Grab a beer and relax.

May just be me seeing this comment at 2:20am and entirely misinterpreting what you're saying but it looks like you've made this humorous instead of getting more agitated and that is something i can respect.

I didn't say you were a dick because of your opinion. I said you were a dick for your aggression, and honestly i was just being blunt. I dont really think you're a dick. It was merely a quick way to gloss over the minor point so i could maje the major one. Still, though, you did start this off badly. You can state your opinion without causing a scene, man. Have some respect for your opposition if you want to debate. Going out full blast is not the way to go. You won't convince anybody if they th…

One guy being a dick on the internet isn't a problem. When that one causes another is where the problem starts. And, again, you're right about everything else. Wasn't disagreeing. I just wanted to calm this situation down before it got crazy (like it often does). I've got no quarrel with you, man. Just hate to see good people consumed by emotive responses.
/r/MensRights03/10/18 01:47 AM

I mean, you're right, but you didnt provide the sources at first either lmao. Calm down. Have some civil dialogue with whoever that was. You're gonna have trouble convincing somebody who thinks you're a dick.

I mean.. i agree with your big text there, but the gender in this case is relevant. There is context. No need to jump the boat and dive for sexism when he never said that men were different.

He was the one who penetrated. The definition doesn't say the penatrator can't be the victem.
/r/MensRights16/09/18 09:33 PM
1

No. That would be a waste of my time. The definition you provided requires 3 things for oral rape: sex organ, oral penatration, and lack of consent. It does not say that the penetrator must be the rapist. What you linked to is talking about something else entirely. It's no secret that scumbags are out there trying to make this a sexist issue. Regardless, the fact remains that she did not right the law. I'm not here to argue about her. I'm here because of a law. Your definition shows that boy was…
/r/MensRights16/09/18 09:24 PM
-1

You clearly didn't think very hard here. Sex organ: kid's dick. Oral penetration: women's mouth. Consent: no. The part you're not seeing is that the kid is the "other person." It's only saying other to refer to someone other than the one getting penetrated. The women is the one getting penetrated. This law is specifically designed so that it can work both ways (penetrating vs penetrated).
/r/MensRights16/09/18 08:44 PM
10

Did you miss this? or oral penetration by a sex organ It literally says that forced oral sex is rape. You should also take care to read the text after that because it specifically says that the definition was designed so that it doesnt matter whose thing is going in, only which person can't consent. This is rape by the definition YOU provided.
/r/MensRights16/09/18 12:11 PM

No. I do not. You're an ass hole for assuming any of my opinions at all. I never even said i disagreed with you. You just assumed that.
/r/MensRights12/09/18 02:40 AM

Again.. never said to enslave them. You brought that out of nowhere. 2 billion muslims worldwide. That number comes from the UN, but its hard to really be accurate since there's so much chaos in middle eastern societies. So, it cojld literally be anywhere from 1-2.5 billion and we would have no possible way to verify it. The average consecus seems to be slightly less that 2, though.
/r/MensRights12/09/18 02:35 AM

Uh, no, there are actually almost 2 billion. And nobody said anything about slavery. No idea where you got that from. I ddin't even say an opinion lmao. Btw, many muslims literally have slaves right now.

Damn being thrown out? You must be confusing DSM-4 and -5. -4 has been thrown out because it's horribly outdated. DSM-5, on the other hand, is still relatively new and has made a lot of progress towards more accurate diagnoses. It shouldn't be the only book psychiatrists use, but it is certainly an important one. As for your contempt with Psychology, where have you been getting this from? Could it be a location thing? In my area, to the very least, psychologists have a very good reputation.
/r/MensRights30/07/18 02:20 PM
10

Don't let this fool you.. psychology is incredibly important and we need a more common understanding of it. The issue is people like this who try to assume the relations between behaviors. This is why most psychologists disprove of much of Frued's teachings. He thought everything was sexual. Literally everything. He assumed behavior in favor of generalization. If you can find a good psychologist who uses DSM-5 and understands how the neurological medicines are meant to function it's a good idea …

I commend you for trying. Point out the core issue. The dress code lacks consistency. The idea should not be that "certain types of clothes are unprofessional" but that "certain areas should remain concealed in a progressional environment." Also.. if you're not working in where non-employed people can see you, should it really be all that big of a deal? Where I currently work (retail, sadly) we can wear pretty much anything so long as the store isn't open.

I think abortion is wrong. Let me make that clear. I'd rather you'd put the child through foster care (safe-haven laws exist for a reason) However, your rapist deserves absolutely nothing here. They do not have parental rights. Actually, you should be putting them in jail by having the courts pursue charges.

I think it's two-fold. It's probably accurate that most stock photos in relation to this fit men abusing women. However, it's also true that google works by taking your words and correlating them to whatever has been accessed the most. That doesn't mean in order btw. If you want to find the accurate photos, try using quotations. It forces google to search for something that has that exact line of speech in it. P.s. Don't violate copywriter laws. Geez.. well, you could say something along the lines of "if I can't make the appointment, then I'm not taking them to it" Idk. You need to set a line and make her work with it. I'd check with your lawyer to see if anything can be done (I don't mean taking her to court. Just approaching the situation without going against the custody agreement or even using that in your favor). Hopefully the lawyer isn't too expensive though. Good luck man. I wasn't arguing that generally does matter. I was merely trying to explain what the argument for a patriarchy is.
/r/MensRights06/06/18 10:10 PM

I think you've misunderstood patriarchy.. it's not that every single women is below every single man. It's that women are generally below man. That historically has happened on several different levels. The problematic debate is wether that patriarchy still exists. Honestly, it disappeared a long time ago.

While I think you're mistaken about he historical aspect to some degree (queen Elizabeth was an exception. Not the rule) I do absolutely agree with individuality. Collectivistic thinking has and always will lead to issues. Grouping people based on things they cannot control is foolish and destructive.

It's not just some people who claim to be feminists. The movement itself has been tainted. 1st and 2nd wave feminists actually wanted equality. The 3rd wave feminists of today do not. Just look at nearly any feminist website and you'll see several goals that would end unfairly for men. We can al respect what the movement was and why it exists, but we need to understand why even many women aren't willing to call themselves feminists anymore.

If you were raped, don't shower or anything. Call the police and then go through the proper protocol. They can trace the rapists DNA on your body and you can use that as proof in the trail. Testimony on the other hand is hard to validate..

I think the point is that men can be victims to sexual battery too. If somebody forces themselves on you even though you're against unprotected sex, that means you no longer are give consent. That's rape in a literal sense (so long as you actually are against it and not caught up in the awesome sex). Just my take on it.
