2	If Suicide Stats Are Because Of Differences In Method Choice, Then Why Do They Differ By Country? I’m Australian, we have a high suicide rate, pretty sure higher than usa. And firearms ban doesn’t do jack. It just changes how people commit it. Imo, firearms bans do nothing but stop people protecting themselves, and actually makes it a lot easier for mass murders to kill or rape, because they have no risk… proven here too, cause we have higher assaults and rapes.
