another question is do we want a society where everyone is agreeable

In most cases a women would have more in common with her friends than her partner, unless that partner has come from her friend group
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/23 10:52 AM

It’s not like high body count people and virgins are segregated, the high body count guy is more attractive both physically and experience wise than the virgin, meets more girls on a daily basis than the virgin, the difference in life style is the only disadvantage the high body count guy has, like a lot of women on this sub have said women don’t care as much as sexual history as men. The high body count guy and the virgin women are on a similar league
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/23 10:47 AM

As a man I would say we both make black and white claims
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/23 10:24 AM
1

Your assumptions are false, soon women will outcompete men in most fields, women already dominate academia, and women are set to outearn men, women do better in higher education, and young women already outearn young men
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/23 10:23 AM

Surely her male and female friends could provide alll these things u talked about better than her partner could
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/23 10:18 AM
1

Men used to be more valuable when there was physical labour jobs, now there’s only desk jobs which women are better at due to sociability and agreeableness
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/23 10:16 AM

A high body count guy has a better chance of finding and attracting a virgin than a virgin, this is common sense
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/23 10:03 AM

I make generalising statements about men as well, just not in that comment. That statement is not pointing fingers, I’m not blaming women for anything, simply pointing out a disparity
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 09:05 PM

*For men who are somewhat attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 07:36 PM
1

Maybe true but I feel like a lot of it is societal expectations, like if u get over the hurdles of the initial dates it will be fine
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 06:49 PM
1

I wouldn’t call dates “spending time” with a women, as others have said its more of a job interview or performance, spending time implies mutual enjoyment
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 06:16 PM
1

I am just making a statement on how the world is, there’s no way we can change it and there’s no reason to point fingers
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 06:02 PM
2

If someone could raise their standards, they would, however, not everyone can
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 06:01 PM
2

Men love women not dates
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 05:51 PM
3

This is false
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 05:50 PM
2

I thought women do these things for themselves? When women go to work do they not wear makeup
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 05:47 PM
1

Good for them
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 05:44 PM

I don’t account for the actions of all men
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 05:36 PM

It’s not a rule just an observation
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 05:36 PM
2

Have u been alone long term tho
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 05:36 PM
3

Yes, the problem is lack of interest
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 05:35 PM
2

I can change things and moan at the same time
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 05:34 PM

Yeah it is
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 02:45 PM
3

You don’t have equal power, in the extreme case if there were 100 men and 1 women you cannot say the men have equal power as the women in deciding whether to follow up dates, ur power is decided by your willingness to walk away, if u have less options u are less willing to walk away
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 02:38 PM

People can complain about these things, people can complain about their job, city, friends even though they choose them
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 02:37 PM

It’s not about the individual, it’s about the group, if everyone wants to pay 20 dollars for bread I can’t demand bread with 5 dollars
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 02:35 PM
6

I think men prioritise comfort as well just in different ways, men do it through being lazy and half assing things
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 01:57 PM
7

It’s less about the planning, more about constantly having to impress and entertain the girl and make sure everything is going smoothly at all times is work within itself.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 01:51 PM

For men it is better to be in a shitty relationship than be alone, it’s called settling
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 01:49 PM

When applying jobs companies say that their interviews are also for the interviewee to get to know the company but in reality the company is the one with all the power in most cases

Women don’t have to bring their best selfs to the date tho
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 01:42 PM
6

Not every guy can afford to be picky tho
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 01:40 PM
3

At the start men our more work, as the relationship goes on women put more work
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 01:38 PM

It’s not a placebo but if u don’t wanna try it idc. I tried a lot of stuff before cbd and they had negligible effect. Cbd only reduces anxiety to a more manageable level doesn’t get rid of it. When I’m on it I can still feel nervous but my voice is no longer shaky and my overthinking reduces. If ur that anxious u wanna seek medical attention, smoking weed is gonna make u more anxious in the long run
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 01:35 PM
1

Nah buy cbd by itself, you can get gummies as well. You don’t wanna become dependent tho, use it sparingly before you take it ask urself do u really need it and if u do take it
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 10:15 PM
1

Theres a way, take cbd oil
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 10:03 PM
4

Low self esteem and shame will cause people to off themselves what’s surprising about that
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 09:38 PM
2

I disagree, many people allow their psychological problems to ruin their lives, that’s the nature of a psychological problem
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 08:09 PM
5

I’ve already answered the question, sex and relationships are important to them but there are psychological challenges which would stop them from working towards this, both can be true at the same time
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 08:03 PM
1

I enjoy doing a lot of self improvement like going to the gym, but there’s a lot of stuff that I’d rather not be doing it just makes my life more difficult since I’m not a high maintenance guy and I don’t need a lot of money or anything
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 08:01 PM
2

human nature, people will only put time/effort into things which they believe will have a decent likelihood of reward, if not they will give up
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 07:31 PM
1

by improving for women you are self-improving tho?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 07:30 PM
2

this is an oversimplification, people like certainty, people generally do not put years of time/energy into something without a decent likelihood of reward, this is human nature for the most part
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 07:28 PM
2

Because it would expose my weaknesses, if u are to weak u become a liability, friends won’t want u by their side anymore they would rather cut u off, my male friendships are formed over usefulness more than empathy
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 11:55 AM

this is simple theres no place to meet women because there is a lack of women to hit on
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 02:46 AM

yes people who scream "hobbies" oversimplify the process, this aint some movie
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 02:43 AM

why would you not go on a date with a potential partner?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 02:42 AM

guys just wanna get girls its not complicated
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 02:36 AM

dragging your friends, some of which may already have girlfriends to these "events" to meet women, on a regular enough basis, is another challenge within itself
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 02:33 AM
1

most guys dont wait for vibe they see a girl they like the look of and moves to her
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 02:08 AM
3

what if you are already friends with their friends?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 02:07 AM
3

if i cut out people who i couldnt be vulnerable with i wouldnt have anyone left except my family
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 02:02 AM
2

the only person i can truly be vulnerable with are my parents, no reconsideration is possible, its not practical to cut off all your friends
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 01:55 AM
6

are u a guy?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 01:19 AM
0

sex is sex at the end of the day, nothing more to it
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 01:18 AM
2

I feel like this is kinda true in some sense, but a bit exaggerated , it’s true that a girl will probably have a low barrier to entry to a guy, if the girl isn’t ugly, it just means the guy has to provide more value to the group, he might have to be funnier or something
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 09:17 PM

I just think it’s the wrong place to be looking for support
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 02:09 PM
2

I enjoy being around women and talking to them, I said my experience would be better if we enjoyed stuff in common, the main thing I like is going gym but I’m young so not many girls my age at my gym and they do cardio and I know nothing bout cardio, music i listen to is rap/drill music, i like programming, I like table tennis, the only hobby I can count is climbing, I know some girls my age do climbing
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 09:45 AM
2

Until those friends are introverts/virgins who don’t have other girls in their circle as well
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 09:29 AM

I don’t think everyone finds art interesting, especially not guys
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 09:27 AM
6

Unfortunately when it comes to dating advice a lot of guys want advice that improves their chances now than in 2-3 years, since that 2-3 years of knowing ur situation can’t change is rough, also befriending people will be more difficult when u are bitter about being single
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 12:32 AM
4

Not young men
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 12:26 AM
2

Humans aren’t completely rational, humans don’t really chose to give up, if u are bitter about not having romantic success u gonna find it more difficult to build the social circle, it’s more of a psychological issue than anything else
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 12:24 AM
1

The only problem is that if u don’t wanna fuck her u likely don’t wanna fuck most of her friends either, probably all round similar levels of attractiveness
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 12:20 AM
3

The difference is some people genuinely don’t like having large social circles so if they do build a large social circle they are befriending people for the sole purpose of tryna date, which doesn’t lead to very good dynamics in the long run
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 12:18 AM
2

Yes unfortunately in certain social groups the women might be less attractive than the guys or vice versa
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 12:17 AM
7

You misrepresented his point tho, I agree with him, my music, hobbies, interests are very male dominated, it’s like I don’t enjoy interactions with women, I just prefer interactions where we actually have a few interests in common, it’s so hard to find it’s basically impossible
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 12:14 AM
7

This is like the best case scenario, in real life the hard part would be progressing from just hobby friends to friends outside the hobby, doesn’t always happen
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 12:10 AM
3

It has 30% truth I think, people are just suspicious of guys till u randomly mention u have a girlfriend or u simply know a girl
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 12:06 AM
3

Sometimes having girls in the group slows down the group, often if I’m in an all guy group we can move from girl to girl in the club, but with girls in tow we get bogged down since they are not interested in moving like that and may find it distasteful, girls sometimes actively avoid meeting others when they go out cause they get too much attention
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 12:04 AM
3

Where, excluding above 30s
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/23 11:59 PM
2

False, the only teenage couples I see walking around are attractive guy/attractive girl
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/23 11:57 PM
1

What purpose do men have in modern society tho? Without chasing women men would be directionless
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/23 11:54 PM
-1

Why would u expect people who are depressed be supportive tho
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/23 11:50 PM
2

Older women don’t want younger men in general
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/23 11:41 PM
1

U cant date someone u haven’t met
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/23 11:39 PM
29

Knew a guy with 6 fuck buddies , he’d always slander the women behind their backs
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/23 11:26 PM

Yeah it’s more complicated than just attractiveness, for example I find native white guys have some success cold approaching foreign women in my city, they are probably more receptive to it
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/23 10:22 PM
1

Personally for me it’s not worry that is the main issue, it’s just that personally I tend to be outspoken once I’m comfortable with someone and say some disagreeable stuff, it’s calm when I’m with guys but when I was younger it would always backfire around women so I learned to tone it down around them
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/23 10:19 PM
2

They wouldn’t view it that way in those cultures, even the women in those cultures wouldn’t feel like they have been harrassed, take it as u will
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 11:20 PM
2

Even a women who wanted a serious relationship would see it as a red flag unless she’s religious, why u lying to him
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 11:11 PM
1

Certain People too sensitive
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 11:09 PM
5

Make more social spaces in society where men and women can meet 2. Make a drug that makes women more horny, obviously women would voluntarily take it, I’m not sure whether they would take it 3. Injecting testosterone and growth hormone into boys from a young age to make them more attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 10:57 PM
1

Same
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 10:42 PM
2

But there are some guys that don’t go gym and still have lean muscle, especially some black guys
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 10:39 PM
1

Height is a very big factor when it comes to it, being muscular is way more of a benefit for tall guys than short guys, although it’s harder for tall guys to achieve
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 10:37 PM
1

Ur wrong, it’s the opposite way round cause most of the women I’m competing for are single, so I’m not competing for anyone else
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 10:36 PM
2

Allow him, it seems he enjoys the gym anyways what’s the harm
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 10:32 PM
2

I think most guys who started out early in their teens started for girls, then slowly progressed to doing it for themselves
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 10:31 PM
2

Still, the muscular tall dude does better than the skinny tall dude
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 10:24 PM
2

some of male doctors might be interested in the McDonald’s girl but not have the right personality to attract her
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 10:15 PM
3

I prefer to glaze over her eyes slowly, not too harshly that it looks like I’m staring, while she is looking back, her facial expression will change subtly, I used that to see whether she might be interested
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 09:54 PM
1

If u grew up in a black majority area, you’d know there’s different cultural standard for this stuff
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 09:41 PM
5

Amongst certain demographics the stopping women on the street thing can work, depends on the culture
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 09:36 PM
1

Guys lie as well tho
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 09:33 PM
3

There’s 2 type of crazy dudes, the quiet weird ones and the extroverted charismatic ones
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 09:32 PM
12

From experience I’ve seen cold approach work for some guys, but a lot of it depends on the type of guy u are and the type of women u approach, I agree it wouldn’t work for most guys without serious luck/skill
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 09:26 PM
1

I’ve tried being friends first, it wouldn’t say that it completely doesn’t work, it just has very low average returns compared to the time u put into it. It’s impractical and unrewarding. Also I don’t know why u are ranting bout the characters on this sub, as if u come across as well adjusted in the comment u make either
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 12:33 AM
1

For attracting women it’s not really about having muscle, it’s about having a big frame
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 11:21 PM
2

I speak to a lot of the teenagers at gym they are into Andrew tate
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 11:20 PM
7

Women are not born fat
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 08:21 PM
2

It’s better to follow the advice that works than the advice that just sounds good
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 04:16 PM
5

Being real is the opposite of what works when it comes to attracting women, that’s why most guys act fake, women tend to be easily turned off
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 09:02 AM
1

If I like a women from the beginning why would I repress my feelings and allow myself to be friendzoned
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 08:53 AM
1

If I choose to be friends with a women I have already ruled out dating her, cause I usually flirt with women I like from the get-go
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 11:13 PM
0

Who’s fault is it tho
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 10:47 PM
3

A general conversation or a conversation about the topics u want to talk about instead?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 10:41 PM
3

So ur saying i have to circle round a women for 3 weeks to see if she’s interested
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 10:35 PM
2

Yeah I’m not a very experience orientated person, I’m not materialistic either but I’d prefer to spend money and time on things I can keep compared to things I’ll forget about
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 02:08 PM
1

I’m glad ur enjoying it
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 01:24 PM
1

Difference between male and female friendships
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 12:57 PM
2

It’s hard to find a women who is not obsessed about travelling, I swear I don’t know what they see in it, when I’m speaking to them I have to pretend that I like travelling when I don’t
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 12:54 PM
1

Not all of us can pick and choose what we want
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 12:47 PM
1

She may not stop wanting sex but if she’s not used to being verbal asked she may view u asking the question as timid and non-dominant. I can tell u there are women that have never been asked explicitly outside liberal cultures, and I don’t nor why a women would be too worried about missing out on sex when she can get it anytime
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 09:37 AM
2

So what can I even provide a women these days anyways, caring for her emotional needs didn’t even work
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 11:37 PM
2

What male priveleges
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 11:33 PM
2

But somehow only good looking men have abundance of options
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 11:31 PM
1

Are u not scared that verbally asking will turn her off?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 11:24 PM
7

If everyone agrees killing is wrong, why is murder an issue. I doubt the people who rape care about right/wrong
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 11:23 PM
2

So what are right opportunities then
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 12:43 PM
5

Unfortunately if u are an introvert and want to meet women u have to do things u won’t enjoy, I realised this one time, before I used to only take invitations if I thought I would like it , now I don’t turn down any invitation, if u do it a lot as habit it will become more natural to u
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 12:38 PM
1

People used to be born in a community tho
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 12:34 PM
1

Ok maybe not men I hang out with, I’m a younger guy anyways
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 12:20 PM
1

Wasn’t looking for pump and dump
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 12:14 PM
1

Never said she doesn’t matter, who she is doesn’t really matter unless I know she likes me first, can’t afford to be picky with women, whoever she is I’ll probably try to make it work anyways if she likes me
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 12:13 PM
-7

Who cares who she is anyway
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 12:16 AM
3

Women do not want equals unfortunately
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 12:14 AM
3

Those millions of men probably find any other women attractive as well, they probably just have low standards
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 12:04 AM
4

Wasn’t me who said that…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 11:52 PM
3

I am not saying feminists believe that men are oppressors but I am saying that most feminists believe in a lot of things, e.g. men shouldn’t approach, that have nothing to do with equality
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 08:02 PM
5

If that’s ur definitions, then radical feminism is mainstream feminism at this point
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 07:37 PM
2

They just make it more difficult
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 07:35 PM
0

Most women are smart enough to know when ur just tryna move to them, cause their guards are up unlike men
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 07:33 PM
1

What should I do if u don’t get these signs
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 07:29 PM
5

True, a lot of women have other priorities
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 07:25 PM
1

That’s minor, just hope u don’t see her again
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 07:24 PM
1

Where and what’s their numbers
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 07:21 PM
1

Would u consider taking substances to eliminate sexual desire
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 07:17 PM
2

I find these women online but never in real life
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 06:52 PM
6

I know a guy every time I go clubbing with him I swear he invents 10 new names each time, I’m not even sure of his real name myself
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 06:50 PM

I tried that before ended up friendzoned
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 09:27 AM

U want true love, I want true love, but some of us can’t get what we want, . If I didn’t have to settle I wouldn’t, if u are not prepared to settle than u do not care about having a partner more than me,since I am prepared to change myself to get what i desire
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 10:54 PM

That is barely a handbook, it is mostly information on how to be a good partner but not how to get a women to be interested in you
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 10:47 PM

There’s no new handbook to attract women in the modern day tho
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 10:20 PM

Being a decent human being doesn’t guarantee anything either
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 10:19 PM

YOUR life doesn’t revolve around women, everyone is different, there are some men’s lives that do, a lot of this is innate biological differences
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 10:16 PM

There is happiness in settling if u find it important to have a partner, u may not see it cause u don’t particularly care about having a partner, but it’s there for some people. It’s easy to pretend as long as u want if u realise that u have no alternatives for finding a partner therefore finding happiness. You’d be surprised at the lengths people can go when they have their hands tied, if u have never had ur hands tied it may seem unfathomable
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 10:07 PM

Unfortunately settling is a necessity for some, so it’s in ur best interests to find happiness in settling, I don’t think I’ll ever find a women compatible with my personality/interests, so if I don’t wanna be single I have to change myself, masking is exhausting but not impossible from personal experience, a mask can slip off but can be quickly put back on again
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 09:40 PM

Do guys need more “friends”
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 09:24 PM

What if the person you truly are is incompatible with almost every women
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 09:23 PM

Better incompatible than single
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 09:20 PM

Changing ur whole personality is technically within ur control
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 09:18 PM

Not exactly controversial
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 09:16 PM

Why do u tell the women u get few matches tho
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 09:12 PM

Red pill tells men to focus on their social skills as well

his strategy could easily have backfired tho if you had no interest
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 01:59 PM
1

i agree with what you say but theres also the truth that attractive people are seen as being more charasmatic, more confiedent, having high status automatically due to halo effect so it would be slightly harder for less attractive guys
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 01:56 PM

i think hes talking more about socializing with strangers or mere acquantences in social space than with your friends

attractive women have less casual sex than average women

some people are able to live a life of delusion and it probably brings some benefits, however some cant fool themselves
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 12:54 PM

Yeah hopefully that comes about but in the meantime I’m working on becoming an extrovert and putting myself in all these clubbing and party situations, fake it till I make it
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/23 12:24 AM

I agree it’s not all women but I’m young and from a low socioeconomic background so I’ll probably encounter more of that, I don’t really have much options rn, I would be compatible with more introverted girls but they are not outside meeting guys so much
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/23 12:01 AM
8

In what circumstance would u ever tell a women about ur inexperience, u must be really trusting
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/23 11:45 PM
2

There are lots of women who would not care about experience, but there are also a lot of women who would care. They wouldn’t worry about whether a guy has slept with someone, they would assume he has slept with someone until they see signs of his inexperience, on which case they would lose attraction. U focus on relationship sex, but if ur having sex for the first time with ur partner and u flop due to lack of experience it’s likely she may leave u in the early stages.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/23 11:42 PM

i agree with you, however i think a lot of people do not think logically when making these type of decisions therefore having experience as a man will give you more success than having potential, not everyone sees potential

/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/23 10:49 AM
1

Might is acceptable when it comes to things easily replaceable and not completely necessary but when it comes to things integral to our lives maybe is not good enough. If having a partner a family and raising kids is important to you, maybe being able to find a date is not satisfactory
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/23 01:04 AM
1

If u say so I guess
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/23 01:00 AM

There are a lot of people who are not motivated to work on themselves without reward
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/23 11:30 PM

So why don’t you answer my question, is it mean or median, because some people refer to median or mean when talking about the average
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 11:36 PM
2

Do you know what mean and median is?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 11:29 PM
1

When you say average life time partners is 4-7 is that a mean or median
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 11:23 PM
1

Yes I am just saying that just because someone is struggling to date doesn’t mean they are below average, there may be other factors involved, like being in the wrong environment
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 11:21 PM
2

For example someone may be average but be a racial minority in the specific neighbourhood they live in meaning they don’t have dating success. What I am saying that being average is not a prerequisite for attraction
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 10:39 PM
2

I am saying there is clearly an IMBALANCE between men and women in ability to find a partner and reproduce historically. Are u arguing that these women would have not been able to reproduce if it wasn’t the cultural norm to marry them off?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 10:37 PM
1

I think ur speaking from an outlier, since you have chosen a place with a very low level of social mobility, there are many other places with poverty where there are decent levels of social mobility, where different social classes live in the same town/city so there is room for social mobility
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 10:35 PM
1

yes, however you cannot deny that there is some level of social mobility in society, and people from the same background end up in different places in life, so it is an incorrect statement to say your social outcomes have nothing to do with your natural traits
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 10:24 PM
2

what is the age of the men
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 10:18 PM
2

by average do you mean median or mean
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 10:15 PM
1

what about race
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 10:14 PM
2

natural selection explains everything, the benefits of women choosing thugs and snakes is that thugs and snakes tend to have more children and tend to dominate in competition with other men, and tend to be better at seducing women
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 10:07 PM
2

dont you think there are personality/intelligence traits associated with likelilhood of social mobility
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 10:03 PM
4

then why did most men in history fail to reproduce but most women did reproduce, isnt there an imbalance
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 09:59 PM

hourglass women probably get more attention but it is never a deciding factor, no women has been rejected cause she aint hourglass, so i wouldnt call this pickiness just preference

Depends what u mean by success, most bullies would have traits like dark triad, extroversion, confidence, aggression, status, even physical advantages which would probably help in dating success, if you think the bully would be the loser than what does that make the person being bullied, an even worse loser. I think in order to bully you must be above someone else in terms of status. The bully is probably a loser in other ways but dating probably won’t be one of them

Even if women cannot get the men they want, they can still get a higher calibre man then they would have been able to get in the past, therefore their value has increased. Women are not men and a decent amount of them do not prioritise getting in a relationship, a lot of women are single by choice and are seemingly satisfied with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 01:59 AM
3

I am saying men aren’t chasing women because they cannot meet women’s standards today, and men are trying as hard or even harder to woo women just in different ways in terms of appearance, fashion, lifestyle, personality, height and career the standards are higher
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 01:33 AM
4

men are dropping out at increasing rate because the competition and demand for women is too high, and men didnt end chivalry, feminism allowed men to get away with not being chivalrous, therefore feminism ended chivalry

womens value have increased tho, because guys are after them more
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 12:38 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/23 02:20 PM

It is harder to use filters to improve the faces of men since female beauty is more focused on the features of the face, and male beauty is more dependent on the overall shape of the face which is harder to change through filters, it is easier to change eyebrows, skin blemishes, nose shape through filter but harder to change jaw width and cheekbones

youve never been closing times at shitty nightclubs, normal ass guys who are desperate will chase anything at that point
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 11:07 PM

these days how many times do you see this, maybe cause ur older than me (not a dig) but i never grew up seeing this except in old movies, you are more likely to see body positivity stuff
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 11:04 PM

dont women consume more media than men, especially movies
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 11:02 PM

i see this starting to go out of style these days

/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 10:40 PM

irrelevant, we are talking about meeting girls
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 10:28 PM

as a guy the social circles you come across matter a lot
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 10:26 PM

would a man have to buy you a drink in that situation, i avoid the bars and focus on the dancefloor cause im not tryna buy girls a drink (at least until i know she is very interested in me), not cause im poor but to avoid being taken advantage of
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 10:25 PM

this is largely location variant, but the hobbies that are good for meeting women are sometimes saturated with men there who only joined mainly to meet women
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 10:22 PM

it is not that guys are scared to approach, is that they are scared to be the 100th guy that hit on a girl at some hobby event
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 10:16 PM

a women doesnt have to find out, and there are online places you can pay a photographer to come at take a few pics with you with your friends, if you dont have a social group that goes out much, go to clubs solo and brefriend the guys there then invite them out in the future, out of all the problems men have with dating this is one of the easier ones to solve
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 10:14 PM

id get dating apps but im too young, girls on dating apps my age not serious about meeting up, just wanna waste time with convo
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 10:10 PM

most men go back empty handed from clubs unfortunately, even a lot of attractive ones
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 10:09 PM

there are always women that fit your description at the club who dance next to the wall with their girls and have a closed off body language and quickly reject any approaching guy, like dont understand why they came to the club could have danced at home
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 10:07 PM

neurotisism one of the biggest dating struggles in the first place
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 10:04 PM

i used to be shy since i was born, now i am not, if you made it your priority you could change
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 10:02 PM

too many outdated unrealistic expectations on young men given the currrent environment, as a guy even if you become good at social skills you still have to deal with the fact there are very few right places/right times to approach
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 09:55 PM

yes gen z women less interested in both ons and long term relationships, it only gets harder for guys
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 09:51 PM

what is your game, im interested
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 09:47 PM

from the mans perspective it is hard to tell either way whether it is a genuine excuse or not, so it is right to take the optimistic route, dont wanna knock down ur confidence
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 09:45 PM

should have lied brudda
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 09:38 PM

a bit of a stretch
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 09:37 PM

as technology and society progresses the more things that we once took for granted start breaking, here we took most men being desirable in the past for granted
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 09:36 PM

What does treating someone like a human being mean to you? If you don’t want a relationship/friendship with someone, doesn’t mean you are now denying their humanity. Just because you consented to sex with someone doesn’t mean they now have to show you anything above minimal respect in return, it ain’t a contract. People are only entitled to minimal respect, nothing more, if you feel you deserve more then find people who appreciate you.

Most people advocating that there is genetic influence also understand that there is socialisation involved however those advocating for socialisation seem to deny there is any genetic influence. We already know women release certain hormones during pregnancy and after birth which induce maternal behaviours and there are differences relating to brain structure between men and women in the parts responsible for reading emotional and social cues and empathy

The thing about dating is that it is a very un straightforward goal due to being controlled largely by luck and a billion unmeasurable variables, so if you have done as much as you think you could, using your knowledge, towards this goal and you still don’t have success you will find a way to rationalise it whether right or wrong

Unless you are part of that population then it does matter
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 07:14 PM
1

it doesnt say anything about the number of people in shape or out of shape since one can be not overweight but be out of shape, also body fat percentage would be a better measure anyways compared to bmi to account for difference in muscle mass
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:40 PM

the ability to be happy single is the very definition of power, means women are able to walk away from the negotiating table while men chase after her

you can focus on your part all you want but it takes 2 to enter a relationship/ have sex
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:33 PM

just because people dont want to be in a relationship/friendship with you doesnt mean you are not a multifaceted being
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:31 PM

men dont really value friendship enough from anyone in my opinion
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:28 PM
1

the problem is that although having no friends does hurt mens chances, the amount of friends women expect men to have is unrealistic, like women expect every guy to be some extrovert, it is exhausting
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:24 PM
-1

the reality is that men are less interested in people in general so men are less interested in their friends, a lot of male friendships form through situational circumstances where there is a shared goal/activity between the men, if men could only talk to their friends without doing anything together, a lot of male friendships would wither and die
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:21 PM
2

for men, making friends is a very low priority goal compared to getting into a relationship or making money, because men are less interested in people generally
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:15 PM

idk i feel like my friendships with women require way more effort in terms of more emotional labour whereas when you are friends with men you dont need to put in much effort into maintaining the friendship
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:13 PM
2

i find that people generally dont need more and more frends, they just need a few good quality friends, and ideally friends who you are able to meet regularly without putting too much effort in

just cause a gene hasnt been discovered doesnt mean we dont know there is genetic influence, same way the genes for autism have not been fully discovered but we know they exist
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 05:32 PM

during pregnancy and after birth women release more hormones oxytocin and prolactin for nurturing babies through maternal behaviours, the brain regions associated with reconising social cues is larger in women which would help in understanding the emotions and needs of babies

not the same, no man is rejecting a women if she doesnt have an hourglass as long as shes a healthy BMI, its a disadvantage but it doesnt rule the women off
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 05:12 PM

so i would argue that the idea that average women dont want average men is correct, although an average man that manages to communicate to her his unique value to her or he is able to appeal to her emotions in a special unique way can succeed, in which case i would not consider that man to be average anymore, because he has convinced the women that he is far from the average man (whether actually true or not), whilst a women can show a man that she is plain average and nothing unique or special …

from my experience the attractive guy standing in the corner with a drink in their hand just head popping do better than the other guys who orbit around girls in the club while their dancing tryna entertain girls with their dancing skills and enthusiam, although looking stressed is not good, the calmer guys who dont do much dancing tend to pull more

probably cultural and socioeconomic as well, grew up in a rough area and most guys where concerned with money, status (being known as the hardest) and drip from a young age to get girls, while a lot of middle class guys i know these days tend to follow bluepilled tactics and be themselves more, they are a lot more well rounded due to upbringing

there is a threshold you have to reach, high IQ is associated with high EQ, but when you go to very very high IQs EQ starts to drop off fairly quickly, i am not talking about the top 1% but top 0.1%

high iq (above a certain level it disadvantages social skills), higher anxiety, overthinking, lack of interest in small talk and preference for complex, abstract ideas, introversion, reliance on logical thinking instead of intuition

you got me thinking you know, i guess i just believe humans should have some sort of purpose u know, and i guess there is an argument that videogames could provide a legitimate purpose, although i feel like for a purpose to be fulfilling it should have an actual impact on the world in some way, not just for personal gratification. I dont believe that if you have pain you need to find a way to numb it, just think that is unhealthy, anything that numbs your pain in the short term will increase you…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 09:29 PM

yes i agree with what your saying, although i feel like life is also about achieving things, but most people who play videogames seriously tend to put a lot of their energy and ambitions into it, almost as if they are trying to achieve something through videogames which may stop them from pursuing the ambitions they have in real life, which is why i think videogames are slightly worse than other mediums of enjoyment, but i guess if you just play videogames once in a while for pure enjoyment then…

where was the personal attack, you might have misunderstood what i was saying in my comment, i wasnt calling you mediocre btw, i simply said that a man that is mediocre will struggle in getting dates
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 03:43 PM

my friends are all slightly nerdy intelligent types you know, they are relatively social and theres are a decent amount women in the wider group and im not interested in those women, so i need to expand out, all the cute girls are not hanging around in my sort of circles u know

im talking about attracting women, you went on a date with him so he attracted you, better that, than not going on any dates cause you are too mediocre

I would like to think i am in a unique situation, after I finish uni i should be making 6 figures starting salary, ill try to not lead with my wallet in dating, but money will give me the freedom to spend time making social connections, i can get my own place and be the guy that host parties, improving my fashion as well cause rn im too poor to actually have a good fashion style, grooming, ive going gym seriously for 3 years rn so after uni i should be a pretty hench guy as well, after uni, girl…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 01:59 PM

as a man you must quit videogames since it gives the illusion of success, i learnt this at 16
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 01:38 PM
1

i am saying having good hygeine will not necessarily be enough to attract a women, if you do not have enough other attractive traits, (although smelling good is something that would help in attractiveness), a man can have no red flags or negative traits but still struggle to attract women without doing the right things because women are not desperate to be hopping into relationships these days
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 01:37 PM

idk at 19 i feel like people only interact with people they already know from school or uni, and my school was very small and the uni i go to is full of people i have little in common with, and in my city most clubs/social events are geared towards people 22-30 who make the majority of the population since people move to the city after uni, at 19 me and my friends are too poor to do many activities in my city anyway since i am a student and i do not work full time, even travel is too expensive
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 01:29 PM

so what ur saying is only half of the truth, the common sense part

if democracy does not work for young people, democracy will be overthrown and replaced with something else
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 12:12 AM

in societies where they have a tradition of uprising, the young people will uprise, no? democracy is not eternal, and old people cant really fight back
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 12:10 AM

this effect is the cancelled out by the fact that when conservative women move to large cities for economic opportunities they become more liberal, therefore there is a flow of women from conservative to liberal, but not necessarily the other way around

as much as the benefits of going gym is overstated, since having muscles does not decide whether or not a woman likes you, it does help increasing attractiveness when some level of attraction is already there, even if some girls dont necessarily like muscle, just being physically bigger in size will help a guy standout, just dont make your whole personality about going gym
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/23 11:28 PM

as a black guy i always find black women are very closed off and cold for some reason like when i chat them up like they never show interest idk why but its a struggle

u can actually, scientifically introversion/extroversion is one of the more easier traits to change, that is what i did to some extent
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/23 11:31 AM
1

i think the main problem is that as an introvert you still have to force yourself to make more small talk more than would seem natural to you in order and approach in an extroverted manner to have success, you can be social and fun but girls may still not approach you
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/23 11:28 AM

its not a binary, there are guys who treat women like people who struggle with getting in long term relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/23 11:20 AM

i have a question, would you expect the guy to eat pussy for an ons or is fingering good enough
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/23 11:12 AM

the situation is assymetric, the number of guys in that category outnumber the number of girls, and the girls would have more opportunity to date outside that category, the girls may be more likely to prefer to stay single as well
