Wow what a moving, short, simple story. I love this. Surprising to see /r/mensrights on /all.

I'll chalk that up as a win since you've diverted to feels.

Here's a primer on how infrequent real complications due to circumcision are. There is a lot of FUD going around in this thread and it seems really similar to Flat Earth, anti-vax, etc. Makes no sense and isn't grounded in empirical reality.

They are both superficial surgeries that don't affect internal organs and both of them happen very early in a child's life. So now we've gotten to the heart of the matter, even though you were trying to straw man me into some weird position about foreskin being a defect: What level of benefit outweighs your perceived damage from a procedure as a baby? If it's a cleft lip, you obviously think it's fine. But you don't think so for circumcision. Where is the line, in your opinion? I absolutely have…

Do you even understand how to construct a rational argument? You just gave a hilarious straw man, I don't even know how to reply to that. You think superficial surgery forever traumatizes a baby? I guess we shouldn't fix cleft palates, might traumatize the baby! Your link has no data or anything resembling actual research in it. You know, like a control group or a sample size greater than "one neurologist postulating". drmomma.com - HAHHAHAHAHAH!

Circumcision is at worst a slight hygienic benefit and doesn't traumatize a baby in the slightest. Are you suggesting you are unable to read English?

Are you suggesting you remember the day of your birth?

No it isn't. That page even gets the order of steps wrong. This is as crazy as anti-vaccination. Circumcision is at worst a slight hygienic benefit and doesn't traumatize a baby in the slightest.

Is anyone in this entire subreddit aware of what a plastibell is? Hospitals don't conduct circumcisions with scalpels, this post is all sorts of wtf.

If I understood you correctly, you are confused about what OP is saying. OP is saying SOCIETY tacitly approves things of the nature of the Target post while admonishing much more tame and normal social interactions from men in public. Has nothing to do with subreddits or Reddit at all. There's no conflict. /r/creepshots being banned is non sequitur except as a part of a much larger whole where people look down on guys' behaviors, but not girls'. Do you see now how you are the only moron in this …

You think the OP is saying that scenario #2 is truly okay? That that is the point of his post? Fuck off.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
