That doesn’t excuse you for being a piece of shit. I think lots of people conflate being an asshole with being exciting and confident

What if you think that they’re dickheads and instead of copying them you form your own identity from your own values. Wouldn’t that be more mature?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 08:36 PM

Teenagers are known for being shallow, insecure and following trends like the bible. Some people say that adults are more open minded and mature. Well that’s definitely not the case for a lot of people

Mmm in my experience they do and a lot

Not through reddit or incel groups that’s for sure. Like my flair mentions, I’m no pill, so no red or black pill

It’s not just a couple of people man… it’s most people. I just don’t know where to look at anymore. I thought college or work would save me and it didn’t… now I know most people don’t change after high school

Have been belittled, excluded and ostracized my whole life for being shy, ugly and boring. Also kinda effeminate and sensitive. I just don’t have the emotional resilience anymore for seeing the face of disinterest or disgust people make when I humiliate myself talking to them
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 05:30 AM

Been treated as subhuman my whole life

The thing is women could be base dwelling weebs and I assure you they would struggle much less getting dates than their male counterparts

What a sad way to live life if you have to pretend being someone else every single day

Good for you. It sure didn’t work for me

As I said, this is not about individuality but social and cultural factors. I don’t care what your preferences are, I care where they come from and for sure it isn’t purely biological. Confidence in terms of dating is more about presentation than state of being. That’s what irks me. I don’t want to pretend to be capable of something that I don’t. I just want to be me and not change at the whims of others

That’s why I said that men don’t mind less confident or shy or introverted women. Everyone’s so darn pretentious about knowing what they’re doing I’m tired of it all. Most of what you call confidence just means you’ve been validated through life. There’s plenty of 12 year olds who think they’re the shit while having done nothing meaningful at all. It’s all bullshit. And it affects most men. That’s why you see all the bravado and posturing in the name of confidence. And, I think it only brings pe…

You know damn well that preferences on a macro level can be shaped by social and cultural pressures and not only by one’s individuality. That’s the whole debate, social and cultural issues that shapes people’s reality

I assure you that men care much less about confidence than women do

Control? You really think you get confidence out of nowhere? Or you also think you must be a very capable person to be confident? Bs. Most people get confidence and self esteem from validation and sense of belonging.

Yet god gave us the freedom choice didn’t he?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 04:34 AM

Yes I think so. Do you?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 05:06 PM

I would say being transparent about your intentions

?? Just go downtown and you’ll see plenty of morons with partners. You really think that only successful men get partners?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/26 03:17 AM

I just want to be me. I don’t want to act macho, look tough and imo being a pretentious fuck. I guess I’ve always been sensitive and, for some, emasculate or effeminate I guess although I don’t feel or want to be a woman nor do I like dick. So, I’m just me I guess.

I won’t change myself in order to get validation
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/26 05:54 AM

No. It wasn’t about responsibility. Social norms were incredibly rigid and it was extremely transparent how one should present and behave himself. There was just no margin of error and everyone knew the rigid values of the time. Nowadays it’s free for all. Norms and culture are questioned and there’s no absolute view on how one should live life. The responsibility is now divided between the individual and the society he interacts with

That’s not the point. Men are open about it. We talk no problem about women’s looks without virtue signaling that we like her soul or whatever. The point is about women who talk like men are unattractive because they’re terrible even though hot men could have the same qualities and still be attractive

What do you think of the body positivity movement? Of the criticisms against the beauty industry, beauty standards and influencers? Of the people wanting more diversity on media such as shows, movies, music, fashion, etc?

Do you think feminine men are not shamed? Do you think there’s only one way a person ought to behave and present themselves?

What do you think of feminine men?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/26 05:43 AM

I completely agree. Although, I find that culture for men just sucks. It’s incredibly rigid and any kind of deviance is seen as weak. Even some kind of display of femininity is considered being gay or secretly trans. In my opinion, this stiffness on performance is rewarded and punished by men and women. I feel like, for more men to find community, we need to redefine how men should behave and participate in society. This friction of values is what brings so much hatred and debate in these kinds …

So, we can acknowledge that there’s an imbalance in the dating environment rn. I think that’s been the whole debate in this sub for years atp. I’ll warn you since I’m not red pill, that I’m no woman and I will not put words into your mouth. I can interpret, infer and empathize, but I cannot read minds. Maybe, in my opinion, a lot of women have this security in having no partner because they know deep down there’s some kind of desire from the opposite sex. Even if it doesn’t conclude in any kind …

I don’t understand the question. What I mean is a cultural change on a macro level such as in the 60s and 70s. You will need a movement with enough people. The most vocal people need to be charismatic enough though.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 03:31 PM

Probably a fundamental cultural change with a more egalitarian point of view.

Tbh I don’t think men really care that much about a woman’s status besides the rock bottom

I know you’re talking about character. What I don’t understand is why you think bravery has anything to do with empathy. Self sacrifice or courage doesn’t mean you have more empathy to others. You can be a very empathetic person and also know your limitations. I think you have a myopic view of why someone’s fearful or a coward. You really think they’re like that because they don’t care or understand others feelings or point of view?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/25 03:22 PM

This isn’t true. You really think people who are considered cowards lack empathy? Maybe I’m jumping into conclusions but it looks like you believe that weak men have bad qualities and strong men have good qualities and that’s why they are strong.

Eugenics?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/25 05:38 AM

What does it mean the entire human experience? Does one need to be normal to experience it?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/25 07:33 AM

You said that sex is a need for the goal of experiencing the human condition. So, those people that I mentioned before cannot reach that goal?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/25 07:02 AM

So they do not experience the human condition?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/25 06:51 AM

Can you tell me why is it a need?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/25 06:21 AM

Do you think the people who have an ascetic lifestyle or of chastity do not reach the goal of experiencing the human condition?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/25 06:14 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
