I'd much rather they just make abortion rights legal again, it's not even a meme anymore that guns have more rights than women and it's absolutely fucking disgusting how humanity has reached this point.
/r/MensRights27/07/22 04:02 PM

I think the biggest change needed is that men and women need to stop defining what the opposite gender should be like. women don't get to decide 'what a real man is' and men don't get to decide 'she should be more ladylike.'

Not really, faking it doesn't improve anything, you're putting on a facade for the sake of something that wouldn't really require it, you're lying to the people around you and you're lying to yourself. and god help you if you're put into a situation where you actually need genuine confidence, that facade's gonna break like nobody's business and you'll be wishing you never faked it in the first place.

My belief isn't the fact they're different that's causing the problem, I believe the problem stems from the mindset that each gender no longer values the contribution the other provides. Gender hate groups keep growing at a rather dangerous rate and people are losing the ability to socialise in a positive manner and I think the only wake up call is if people take a break from the opposite gender.

I'm not saying men and women cut contact from each other completely, but stop giving each so much shit and just to take a break from them in general. Stop looking for things the opposite gender are doing, be it good or bad and just live life for themself, go travel, aim for the job they want and take up their hobbies without worry of what the other gender is doing for a generation or two. If they find they miss the prospect of having a partner they'll be more considerate and value them more and …

I think men and women are at the stage where they 'need a break' after several millenia of putting up with each other's shit. Give it a generation or two things should cool down, if not, oh well, not like we're indesperate need of increasing the population right now are we?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/21 08:56 PM

This is an ongoing issue in Japan from what I hear who are ahead of the trend, they're going from a generation of overpopulation into a generation of under populated, so much so, schools and the like are closing due to not enogh kids purely because it's just not worth doing so. Everyone is too busy with work to form friendships, nevermind find a partner, let alone one willing to start a family.' Herbivore men' are also growing more and more, not following traditional roles as an instigator.

I think the problem stems less as it being 'exchange' and rather being reduced to nothing but an unpaid therapist. This was an issue I had a with a 'friend' a while back, the only time they wanted to speak with me was when they wanted to rant and complain about things, be it work, family or other friends. They never made time for me, never listend to my problems, never wanted to hang out, never wanted to go anywhere or do anything, just message me whenever they felt like it and use me as a verba…

Why? Because he doesn't want to marry after weighing up the pro's and con's of marriage? Multiple women declare their individuality on social media all the time, focusing in their careers and raising pets instead. Are they misandrists for doing so?

I can't say this is strictly parenting but society in general, outside of shoddy PUA videos and their MLM books, dating is a case of sink or swim and many people are just deciding not to even jump in with how little direction they're getting.

Best I can advise is be up front about your inability to escalate with your partner and on times you want to kiss or cuddle etc, ask if you can do so first instead of just going for it

As a male virgin myself I would also prefer to be with a virgin woman, but I'm not opposed if she's had sex before however I do not wish to be with someone who's slept with half of the town, more power to those that want that lifestyle I just don't want anything to do with it. Above all, I just want the intimacy and the clear communication of what is enoyable and comfortable for them.

And another post that in its entirety consists of "got anxiety? Just don't do it!" If I got a dollar for everytime I came across these I'd have enough to live as a sugar daddy to three women for the rest of my life. Look, I get it, you want guys to drop the low self-esteem attitude and for them to believe in the high value they have and I respect your wish to get that across, but this isn't how you do it. telling them to 'just be confident' doesn't work and it very rarely has. "-While we had casual sex." Well, I mean if you're offering, but I prefer dinner and a movie first, pal. But that's just my point, when you see these 'niceguy' posts as a guy yourself if you don't cringe at their self-inflicted personality killing any chances of actually even getting to shake hands with a woman then that's a cause for concern. Thing is, that 'niceguy' label is not just restriced to reddit, it's an internet title much like neckbeards, e-thots, bronies, MLM huns and so on except N…

"Just like you don't wanna sleep with the majority of women on Earth." Speak for yourself, if the monstergirl genre has taught me anything it's that if it has human looking tits and ass, most guys will want to fuck it. On a more serious comment, I do genuinely wonder why people actually label themself as a 'nice guy' as the title itself is kind of a derogatory statement nowadays in light of their self entitlement, kinda like how edgelords are frowned upon in the eyes of the many. Like seriously,…

Apparently this isn't normal behaviour? Growing up I was always taught to just maintain good eye contact, smile and nod at people you walk past, some appareciate it, some don't. But you're walking past people who aren't gonna even remember you so don't let the grouchy ones get to you and keep on keeping on.

I dunno, it depends on the person, some like the unbridled attention some don't like any at all, it's upto you to decide if you want to be the chaser or not. If you like giving someone your attention then don't change it to meet another persons standards and find someone who does appreciate what you do.
/r/seduction26/10/20 03:59 PM
1

Not always, for the attention seekers they're a lost cause, for the ones wanting more, could find that a guy doesn't see them as a goal to get in their pants but reasons can vary. Honestly, I don't know where guys get the energy to chase after women so relentlessly, just watching it happen is fucking exhausting.

I think guys who are more laidback and make a conscious decision in regards to sex are propably favoured more than those who immediately say yes as soon as the offer is made.

Honest opinion? Just don't bother with it and forget dating entirely. I've burned out of dating for a long time while looking for a reason to care with no luck of that happening purely because plain and simple; dating is a luck game, it is not a fun one unless you have the social skills and physical appearance to make it work. Fair enough, I'm not saying anyone should cater to my timeframe because I say so and I'm not gonna rant and rave about them wasting my time either. No one has any entitlement to another person's time, all I ask is to understand that just as you're not obligated to work around my timeframe, I am not obligated to wait on you.
/r/seduction14/10/20 05:04 PM

Doesn't matter, why would I wait a week on the possibility that they were busy? Regardless if their lack of response is intentional or not, fact of the matter is, I have no reason to waste my time in waiting on a person I'm not even that familiar with when I could spend that time on someone who is willing to reciprocate. Time's not stopping for you because you're busy, why should anyone else?

I can't remember where I saw this, but there was a poll showed that men would rather miss a hundred positive hints than act on a negative one, because they are that disillusioned with women's actions just being friendly instead of flirty that it's simply not worth acting upon and much prefer women be up front about it. Thing is, 'hinting' is a dying art and honestly, it can't die soon enough, it's pointless, it's time-wasting, and it's just not as attractive as it used to be, it's also not the g…

I think we're focusing on the wrong problem, this isn't a case of missing the hoop that you needed to score during the main game, rather it's a case of missing the hoop every single time is what's getting people to lose their minds. Sadly we are in a day and age where people think they deserve better than what they got, and this isn't applicable to just dating or even women in general. Everyone online sees how someone else has it better in terms of status, wealth, possession and partners and believe they should have it as well Sexual liberation has shown that men don't need to be chivalrous or even courteous in order to get sex and women have no reason not to exploit their sex appeal for money so the value of the relationsh…

A way to simplify confidence is by having your ideals and principles and sticking to them regardless if they're a dealbreaker in her eyes, you like dubstep and she doesn't? Stick to that preference regardless what she says about it. If she has an opinion that differs from yours do not conform to hers just to appeal to her, don't try and say you have similar tastes if you don't, don't like all the same media genres she likes etc. Another way of looking at it is by prioritising your own value abov…

I mean, in the time of social distancing this is kind of expected. That said, you're kind of running before you can walk in this scenario. My advice would be to scrap approaching a girl with the intent on meeting her and instead try a different approach. Mine was through the insistence of my friends arranging nights out for me to go and approach a woman, they helped out a lot with providing the types of clothes to wear and ideas of an opener and they supported me when I inevitably got shot down which helped deal with the rejection. I noticed this within the reviews of some contemporary fantasy novels I read a while back as inspiration for my own I'm working on. One featured an Incubus wooing a human woman rather unethically, pheromones during a date making her go into heat as well as knowing exactly what to say to impress her and he and the author was branded a rape fetishist and misogynist, appealing to the male fantasy. None, you leave her alone and let her do her thing and you don't bother her regardless if she's entering or leaving the premises and this applies to everyone in the gym, they're there to work out, not to get hit on. Your only reason for 'approaching' should be if you want any advice and she is within her right to tell you to find someone else to help. Gyms are one of the worst places to approach a girl, go to a bar or a club that encourages socialising and not a place that isn't intended for it.

The samev inevitable thing that happened with groups like Metoo and MGTOW and any other nationalistic ideal that becomes widespread, the ideal got too big for its boots to be properly managed and contained and then the more vile-minded individuals came in and devolved what was once sensible ideals for the downtrodden into the toxic and corrupt shitshows they are today.

While I wouldn't really advocate that, especially in light of the count of rape and assault cases it's clearly not the opposite. That being said, men aren't free from men haters either and while they're not as threatened as women are, the stories that do come from men that have been stalked and harrassed by women can sometimes be more disturbing than what women go through. It seems to be a quality vs quantity type of story with these sorts of things.

That's not what you asked, you asked what does he do if he gets horny, and I provided answers that don't require him to make a commitment. Furthermore, I don't judge people how they deal with their sexual urges so long as it's consensual and legal, I advise you do the same and stop deciding that others are fooling themselves just because it isn't within your purview. If people prefer to stay in their comfort zone, that's their decision.

It's also the result of sublt neglect and abuse those people have gone through to feel like they're opinions and wants are invalid, when they don't have people sharing their interests or worse belittling them for it is when the knockdown effect comes into play and it only escalates as time goes on and they feel like they should just shut up and keep their head down for the sake of avoiding torment.

After being on a lot of hollow dates, I can confirm this is the case, and it isn't just restricted to guys, but women as well, we don't want a pushover that goes along with everything we suggest, we want to hear what you want to do as well. The thing is, the people reading this have been leading boring and sexless lives for years so they don't see the reason to break out. 'You can't miss what you never had' sound familiar? It's easy to tell them all of this, but far as guys like this are concerned, they've got what they need out of life, sex and relationships aren't a neccisity and often many contemplate if pursuing a chance at relationships is worth the effort required to do so.

Women only want men to open up about their emotions when it's line with their own and WHEN they want to hear about it. That one friends episode that featured Bruce Willis opening the floodgates is a prime example of why men should never open up, not just because of Rachels reaction but the fact it makes fun of a very serious and dark issue men are dealing with and completely belittles it.

This is what gets me about the whole thing, is when I hear about women wanting men to be true to their emotions and completely backpedal, when their true emotions is them having no vote of confidence in themselves, because 9 times out of 10 that's what those bottled up emotions are. That 'confidence' that everyone says guys should have purely because they're a guy, is the bottled up emotions that women also want men to show which is the very thing they consider unattractive.

Right, because that insecurity and lack of confidence hasn't stemmed from cases of belittlement along with a severe lack of praise no matter their accomplishments, not forgetting being tormented for having interests outside of other people's purview and social expectations that they HAVE to meet. No one wants to feel like they're worthless or have no confidence, but sadly a lot of guys lifestyle doesn't put them in a very positive or supportive light and only a very select view can overcome that…

The problem with this, as sad as it is to admit; there's not much in the way of support groups to help people be more social nor deter those with a porn addiction when they get it, except of their own will to do better but even that's not a guarantee that'll resolve their needs for a release. Another underlying factor is that for most people, porn is their only option for a sexual release and not many are willing to go through the weeks if not months of activities towards becoming desirable and …

I always remember that one Friends episode featuring Bruce Willis, Rachel pushes and pushes him to be more open about his emotions, all because she wanted to feel validated, and after the damn broke and he couldn't contain it anymore she was sick of him. The guys using money as a means of attraction generally don't care about receiving connection on an emotional level and only on a surface level, why do you think sugar daddies, trophy wives and the like exist? I get what you're saying about not letting the opportunity pass us by, but taking this fact on board and the unlucky ones coming home empty handed will just reinforce a negative mentality that even after several months of isolation and loneliness and people are still being considered undesirable will crush confidence badly.

I think because just as girls can't see guys as dating material, for guys it's either relationship or bust because if they're made friends then they're just held on as a reminder that their feelings weren't reciprocated. It's a weird line of thinking but considering guys are always one extreme or another and rarely in between it's not so surprising.

Can I ask a potentially ridiculous question? We're told not to put women on a pedestal, I get that, no one wants to be forced to the top simply for being who they are. So why is it media completely disregards that notion entirely with the whole 'women are queens' shtick? It feels like the case of needing experience to get a job, but needing a job to get experience. What doesn't help is when people's views of a relationship are based on movie's and little else, growing up you have to figure out dating by yourself and if you aren't desirable or socially aware than you won't get that knowledge and when you reach a certain point it's treated like it's YOUR fault for not doing anything when the odds are stacked against you. I think the problem is distinguishing the rejection as it's not simply a case of getting turned down by the same type of person over and over. Pretty much, my best analogy for this whole 'approach' game is that it's a lot like basketball, when you're in charge you have a keen sense on what to do, how the game is played and where to score. With two people it's more chaotic and less 'synergised' for lack of a better word, you know the saying; "The ball is in their court?" With rejection? Honestly; relief, thinking thank fuck I've done my part, I don't have to question what if anymore and I can go on with my day. It's when I think about the amount of times I've been rejected is when I question if my ego can take anymore, it's the reason I don't bother with the likes of Tinder and Bumble, I get denied enough in real life, what little ego and self esteem I have left will be devoured if I go onto dating sites.

I think what the underlying issue is not the person rejecting you, but dealing with the possibility of being rejected a hundred times. That dating show Take Me Out is a key attribute to this, it doesn't matter to the guy what kind of girl rejects him, could be the most beautiful one there that says no and it won't affect him, it's when all the lights go out is when the guy's mentality is affected. Getting rejected by the most stunning and intelligent girl you ever laid eyes on isn't the problem,…

Seen this a fair few times and it makes me cringe and facepalm to no end that this is generally girls idea of approaching, like: "Hey, you look familiar, do you have a *insert family relation here*?" "Uhh... No?" "Oh, okay." Walks off. Like what response were you hoping for? Could you imagine him saying he does have a brother and then you're stuck in a conversation about the shit his brother's gotten upto? Because that doesn't sound like a fun time for anyone.

True, but as someone who's worked as a server both in person and on the phone we do acknowledge when a customer is genuinely a nice person, someone complimenting us on our work ethic can be the one thing between a good day and a bad day. Strippers have no such acknowledgement, and I agree they probably deal with worse customers than a store assistant would, but the fact that even the genuinely nicest most beautiful person is susceptible for belittlement in their eyes is the reason I refuse to sh…

Wasn't an 'approach' but worked in my favour, in the middle of walking my dogs and letting them run in the park I see the girl on the bench feeding bits of bread to a flock of birds and I decide to make a reference only a few will get and just said in a joking manner "Fuck these birds, am I right?" I think it's not pressured but encouraged to see different women instead of settling for the first woman you fall for, if you have a case of oneitis and the relationship goes south, you potentially cripple any and all future attempts at dating, at least by seeing multiple women you realise you have options if things don't go your way. /r/seduction20/02/20 07:32 PM

Pretty much. My social conditions and interactions with others over the years have left me with the belief that I am just generally unnattractive and annoying to be around, combined with low dating experience in which my last relationship ended with her cheating on me, I've learned to assume that women just aren't into me.

/r/seduction20/02/20 04:10 PM

Faking it or not, point of context is; who am I gonna want to spend time with? It's not about doing it for your sake, it's about not doing it for their sake. Some people just don't want to be bothered and you enabling people to approach someone that genuinely doesn't want to be approached is only going to piss them off especially if it happens constantly. They're not some NPC you approach in a video game that's going to tell you their life story just because you're willing to talk to them, they're people that will have their own shit going and don't want to be hit on.

Based on past experience? I always make it a point of confirming the date on the day and if there's no response I just call it as good as cancelled which is fine by me, I've got other shit I can do. What makes this worse is when they get in contact an hour after the date was planned and it's always some bullshit excuse. I get it, meeting a stranger is nerve-wracking as all hell, but it's the same for the opposite party and if that's your anxiety why are you on a dating site in the first place?

I get the meaning behind this about shooting your shot and taking a chance, but there are times when someone legitimately wants to be left alone and being approached could be the thing to set them off. If someone wants to be approached they'll look the part and make themselves available for it, if they're not looking the part then the sign is they're not interested.

I can see where you're coming from with the 2 scenario's, but it feels as if both of them aren't going to provide much success. Whereas the first scenario struggles with confidence which is often the biggest roadblock people face, the second scenario struggles with energy and if you lived through the 1st scenario at least once, then chances are you're too tired and busy to fit dating into your schedule.

The only time I legitimately felt like a creep was when a new girl came into our little friend group 20 years old who was way too damn innocent for her own good. 90% of the time a dirty joke was made, she would ask: What's that? At first we thought she just hadn't heard that one before but the more and more it happened, it just fell into an awkward silence whenever she asked

Last time I heard someone say that to me I responded with "Thanks, got them from my parents." And my friends and family wonder why I'm always single.

I don't understand how people can be so clingy, like for the amount of people that struggle with social anxiety surely more people want to be by themselves than suffocated in a relationship why is this more often not the case? Admittedly I don't prioritise my relationships all that much to begin with, I find so long as they don't absorb into my life all that much I won't be left broken when they end.

I think it falls along the lines that 'being nice' is just par for the course, it's not meant to be a desireable trait, you're supposed to be nice to people and not expect anything back, and if that's your only selling point than obviously no one wants to date you, if you're being nice expecting to be rewarded for it, then you're not really a nice person are you?

can't tell if this belongs in r/Ihavesex or r/antiMLM

Doubtful, also not into cuckholdery, thanks, but I'll keep my own motivation.

Jokes on you, never had a crush.

I stopped investing in relationships several months ago, there's very little chance of longevity to them and frankly the confidence crush and heartbreak just isn't worth it anymore.

"Thanks for the sex homie, again at your/my place?" If it was just casual sex, then you need a casual response otherwise you're sending off the wrong signals.

I mean... My general rule is: Don't approach women so you've already got a lot more flexibility than me

probably gonna get lost in here but here's another vote. Waste of time, either do or don't, no one's got time for maybe and you're a cruel person for stringing someone along.
/r/seduction27/11/19 04:45 PM

Yeah , not taking that chance, seen far too many rejections and even ridicule and shame to consider that a viable option. If women are so desperate for conversation, then they can make the approach instead and I'm sure it'll go a lot better for them than it would for men.

Honestly, I'm just at the point of letting things play out the way they are, if I meet someone, great, new friend to spend time with. If not, great, more time I have to spend with myself and I'm not hurting for either one. I understand the concept of putting in effort when trying to meet someone, but when dating feels a tiring and boring chore and not the immense funtimes that everyone blemishes it is, then clearly I'm not fit for it. I'm comfortable the way I am, if that makes me undateable, th…

I hardly ever socialise with people my own age let alone of the same gender so I think doing this is a bit out of the question.

I've long given up with hints I'm too old to deal with time and energy wasting, either say you like me or don't so we can all move on instead of this stupid guessing game.

Don't know why you want to drive a FWB mad for you as that kind of beats the purpose, but then again, I wouldn't know how to drive that kind of person crazy in the first place cuz I'm the furthest thing away from those types of guys and I particularly hate playing 'the game' anyway. The thing with the type you're looking for is you're competing against other women that those men will be looking to date and if they're willing to give it up before you are, you'll probably find yourself getting dro…

Depends on what kind of man you want to drive crazy, as the saying goes, one man's trash is another man's treasure so maybe specify what kind you're looking for?

I tend to just lay it out in the open, first date will always be a coffee date to familiarise and get to know one another and the cost will be two seperate cheques so she shows she can look after herself

Messaging seems to be on this basis on whoever gets the last word in, so long as there isn't a message below yours, you're safe and until there's a response you can go about your day and move on. The same with setting up a date, even if you both agree to it, unless confirmation comes through on the day, then I won't show up.
/r/seduction04/11/19 03:34 PM

Sort of the same knee-jerk response when a girl says, "No, stop. that makes me horny." The only words that went into the guys head at that moment is; 'No, stop.' to which he then stops.

A brothel? Also ask anyone on reddit in your nearby area? pretty sure many would jump at the chance and it's not a dating app so it doesn't count.

As someone who's wrote erotica for 4 years I can confirm this statement is false

An average attractive lady will still be more successful in comparison to an average attractive man and is more likely to get the man she desires than the reverse that doesn't negate the point. Dating polls and surveys have shown men consider more women attractive then women consider men as attractive, for all the complaints about men being superficial they see more things attractive than women do hence this whole social distinction. Men encourage their male friends who are successful in the dat…

I can agree to an extent because the status quo is women have easier access to sex compared to men, but I believe neither should be shamed for their sexual activities, only to accept when someone doesn't want to be with a person that's slept around be them man or woman.

I mean, you said you guys aren't together so he doesn't really owe you anything, if you didn't want to have sex with him you wouldn't have done, so really there's nothing actually going for you if he's switching off and on with you so easily. If he was interested he'd have asked you to the party straight out, but the mess around likely left you hanging and waiting on him when he likely didn't even know.

And you're shitting on the people's whose lives have been completely and utterly ruined beyond repair for no other reason than a girl didn't like the guy which happens more often than you think. If a single guy had the power to ruin a womans life just by not liking her he'd be condemmed and strung up within a week at most. The fact you're ignoring and belittling the 'minority' this happens to is just proof you only care about pushing a social agenda and not striving for equal treatment

Short of asking him straight out; do you want to fuck? I don't think anything is getting across and he may be trying to actually maintain a friendly atmosphere rather than a sexual one

Know the saying, opposites attract? You'll find the shy quiet ones love the straight forward confident people.

What about the 40 somethings that make more money than I'll see in a year, more attractive than most average guys, don't normally suffer form social anxiety and yet have been rejected so many times and received no physical intimacy outside of their parents. Also, what the hell is 'man enough' when these days when basic romantic interest is considered grounds for sexual harrassment? Pretty sure if any decent woman wants to give her 'love and affection' to someone she'd seek out the person she wan…
