The top comment in that thread says that under title 9 the boy can’t be in the same classroom as the girl, which makes sense to me because the girl has a right to study without being afraid of someone grabbing her ass. So I can see why expulsion would be the easiest option for the school. I’m not sure how that makes him a criminal though. I have an other than honorable discharge (I know, I fucked up). And the VA has denied me access to mental healthcare twice. I get one (1) free visit to an emergency center so I’m saving that for when I’m really truly at the end of my rope. I was able to find help another way so I’m good now, but man the navy fucking used me up for 6 years (before I made a bad choice) and I don’t get Jack shit for it. Brené Brown addresses this in her book Daring Greatly. It’s a book about shame and vulnerability, and in it she confesses to realizing that she is the patriarchy. It analyses the subs you follow and participate in and makes a guess as to your political leanings. How is this any different to telling Muslims that people walking down the street don't know they're not a terrorist, for example? I wear a hat/sunglasses/mask a lot these days. 1	Two women, under investigation for child abuse, kill all the kids and themselves. There’s a lot more to this story and it’s truly disturbing. Check out the podcast Broken Harts. It’s not the best podcast imo but it goes into good detail about how two white women came to adopt 6 black kids and ultimately drive the whole family off a cliff.
