Boy gropes girl at school. What should the consequences be?I understand. That’s fucked up what happened to you. Kids can be dumb but to defend your behavior as an adult is just sinister. | /r/MensRights | 12/09/21 05:04 PM
Boy gropes girl at school. What should the consequences be?The top comment in that thread says that under title 9 the boy can’t be in the same classroom as the girl, which makes sense to me because the girl has a right to study without being afraid of someone grabbing her ass. So I can see why expulsion would be the easiest option for the school. I’m not sure how that makes him a criminal though. Would it be impossible to enroll in another public school with the expulsion on his record? | /r/MensRights | 12/09/21 04:55 PM
| -1 | Againstmensrights subr/menslib has actual reasoned discussions on men’s issues, most of the guys in this sub are still too angry at the world to reason with them. | /r/MensRights | 24/06/21 01:48 PM |
Againstmensrights subI understand that we’re pointing out a double standard, but how about taking the high road and asserting that sub has a right to exist and talk about what they want just like this sub does? | /r/MensRights | 24/06/21 01:42 PM
Study: of 1,500 men who committed suicide, 91% had been in contact with a health agency to seek help. The notion that men die because they don't ask for assistance is untenable.I have an other than honorable discharge (I know, I fucked up). And the VA has denied me access to mental healthcare twice. I get one (1) free visit to an emergency center so I’m saving that for when I’m really truly at the end of my rope. I was able to find help another way so I’m good now, but man the navy fucking used me up for 6 years (before I made a bad choice) and I don’t get Jack shit for it. I could have easily been one of those guys, except I’m not considered a veteran so they probably… | /r/MensRights | 31/05/21 09:56 PM
Study: of 1,500 men who committed suicide, 91% had been in contact with a health agency to seek help. The notion that men die because they don't ask for assistance is untenable.Brené Brown addresses this in her book Daring Greatly. It’s a book about shame and vulnerability, and in it she confesses to realizing that she is the patriarchy. I think everyone should read that book or listen to the audiobook. Very eye opening for me. | /r/MensRights | 31/05/21 09:45 PM
TIL of a Chrome Extension called "Reddit Masstagger" which is used to track people who are members of r/mensrights.Have you guys ever been hit with the “user leans” bot? It analyses the subs you follow and participate in and makes a guess as to your political leanings. I follow a number of subs I don’t necessarily agree with so I can get multiple perspectives on current social discourse. The bot called me something like “an evil soulless moderate” or some garbage like that. I actually lean somewhere left of center but this is super creepy far-left bullshit that shouldn’t be tolerated by anyone who claims to … | /r/MensRights | 27/05/21 01:53 PM
Campaign to make men modify their behaviour to make women feel safe. I see stuff like this cropping up more and more often. How is this any different to telling Muslims that people walking down the street don't know they're not a terrorist, for example?I wear a hat/sunglasses/mask a lot these days. I guess if I see a woman I should doff all of these and present the palms of my hands in some sort of good guy salute. | /r/MensRights | 07/05/21 02:17 PM

UK: Male domestic abuse victim dies in hospital six days after a desperate police officer pleaded with him to press charges against his girlfriend.Probably because there’s an ad after every sentence. | /r/MensRights | 13/04/21 03:39 PM
Asking a man to cross the street is like asking a woman "to leave the room to the men."I never ask a woman to leave the room, but if we’re in the workplace and it’s just me and a woman I always leave the door open. Makes me feel safer. Idk about crossing the street though. I’ve had women cross the street at night to avoid me, though. Made me feel bad that they are afraid of me. | /r/MensRights | 24/03/21 04:23 PM

Well, I guess some hope remainsAnecdote: my ex didn’t identify as a feminist, but she loved to employ their arguments when things weren’t going her way. For example, when the truck she wanted to buy on her own had to be financed in my name, the fault was on the patriarchy and not her shitty credit score caused by years of her not paying her bills on time. | /r/MensRights | 14/06/19 03:23 AM

My boyfriend told me one of his biggest fears is being falsely accused of rapeThings haven’t cooled down. The standard to convict someone of sexual assault in the military is “based on a preponderance of evidence.” It is up to 3 impartial people to look at the evidence and determine the fate of the accused, when there is no evidence and it comes down to “he said she said” they will always believe her and give the maximum punishment to the guy, regardless of his history of good service, regardless of everyone who knows him saying he’s a good person. All it takes is one acc… | /r/MensRights | 29/04/19 07:03 PM
Two women, under investigation for child abuse, kill all the kids and themselves. There’s a lot more to this story and it’s truly disturbing. Check out the podcast Broken Harts. It’s not the best podcast imo but it goes into good detail about how two white women came to adopt 6 black kids and ultimately drive the whole family off a cliff. It seems one of the mothers was extremely manipulative and controlling of her wife, and her main motivator was social media fame. | /r/MensRights | 06/04/19 03:59 PM
