| 5 | that’s what I was thinkingMine were BetterHelp (sponsored), a website called “Man Therapy”, SAMHSA, and GoodRx. I also couldn’t find anything similar to OPs result. All of mine were positive sites to either help men get the help they need or discuss how men don’t seek out help often enough | /r/AntiFeminists | 06/01/23 04:50 PM |
| 6 | found this on terriblefacebookmemes and the comments are a little disappointingThis shows what the original image was supposed to look like. This one is a poorly made edit https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/adeonibada/feminist-established-complete-woman-illustration-hijacked The original was supposed to show that two people can have very different experiences in life but both can still be full and complete people | /r/AntiFeminists | 26/12/22 05:49 PM |
| 1 | Wow, just wow. I guess common sense & social debate left the chat.Yeah it was definitely manipulative. I don’t really understand why everyone immediately got behind OP when they gave no context explaining why they got banned. This post really shouldn’t have as many upvotes as it does And the posts OP was commenting on WvP seemed reasonable to me too. At least with the Maisley Williams one, I think people from this sub have an issue with it because they think feminism=misandry (it doesn’t… but I’ll probably be downvoted for thinking that here). So from that per… | /r/AntiFeminists | 24/12/22 02:08 PM |
| 5 | Wow, just wow. I guess common sense & social debate left the chat.If you open their account you can still see snippets of a few of their comments. Although you can’t open up the full messages since they’ve been banned. So it still doesn’t give the full context but it can help give an idea of what they were saying. The main thing that caught my eye as concerning was them saying, “Well good luck with finding a husband when you become over 30 middle aged, and wrinkly…” which is pretty misogynistic imo… I’m not sure why they’re surprised they got banned when they … | /r/AntiFeminists | 23/12/22 08:36 PM |
| 8 | Got banned from twox for the dumbest reason possibleI feel like we need more context here | /r/AntiFeminists | 18/12/22 03:05 PM |
| 7 | A lady tries to bring awareness to mens issues and the response she got from other women in the comments shows the damage modern feminism has caused between men and women.Does anyone know where I could find the full video? | /r/AntiFeminists | 09/10/22 02:17 PM |
| 5 | Modern Women Are DirtyDo you shave? If not wouldn’t that make you “dirty” as well? | /r/AntiFeminists | 19/09/22 03:10 AM |
| 1 | Would you disown your child for having different political views than you? Most of the comments on the post said no. In fact, this was the most upvoted response: Absolutely not! the worst thing you can do to someone being radicalized is to make them feel isolated Deradicalization starts with them feeling heard and accepted by others, and then made to realize the extent of what they believed. It’s very very difficult and requires patience and self control, but rejection will force them to seek community elsewhere and thus fall deeper and deeper into their reactionary bu… | /r/AntiFeminists | 16/08/22 04:41 AM |
| -1 | what a.. feminist..What makes her a feminist? Like yeah she’s an asshole but I don’t see why that makes her a feminist | /r/AntiFeminists | 05/08/22 01:50 AM |
| 2 | 🤡I hear you.. I like to stay on this sub to get out of my bubble and try to see things from a different perspective. And to give them credit some of their posts make decent points and are good critiques of feminism. Then there’s posts like these, where the comment section is full of misogyny and it makes me question why I’m still on this sub. And what’s worse is that I fully expect to be downvoted just for pointing that out and going against their echo chamber :/ | /r/AntiFeminists | 04/08/22 12:17 PM |
| 1 | PredictableTheir article actually brings up a few decent points if you take the time to read it. Although you would need to go into it with an open mind rather than a dead-set belief that all feminists hate men | /r/AntiFeminists | 02/08/22 12:29 PM |
| -1 | I am sorry to say this - As a man if I am legally allowed to "rent" a womb for kids, I would not marry at all. There’s a lot more to marriage than having children… Don’t force yourself into it simply due to pressures from society. Find someone you enjoy being around and would genuinely be happy to spend the rest of your life with. Having a wife shouldn’t be treated like a transactional purchase or something to achieve, and it’s kind of misogynistic to think of it like that (which is what it sounds like from your post considering you see it purely as a way to have children). Marriage should just be someth… | /r/AntiFeminists | 02/08/22 03:30 AM |
| 2 | send this to a feministYou do realize this is exactly the kind of thing this sub likes to tear apart when opposite ideas appear on feminist subs? Like the other day there was a post on WvP that was a meme about wishing they were mermaids/sirens so they could lure men to their deaths. That was also a meme made as a joke, yet this sub tore it apart and screamed misandry. How is something like this any different? | /r/AntiFeminists | 02/08/22 03:08 AM |
| 1 | Even if the patriarchy existed, how does this help undermine it?I personally consider myself to be a feminist (although my definition of feminism probably differs from what y’all usually consider it to be considering most people here say feminism=misandry. I think of feminism as wanting to work towards equality for all genders, rather than specifically empowering women. I find it pretty hypocritical to fight for women’s rights without also fighting to solve men’s issues, and vice versa), but I still actually appreciate posts like this. Even though I support … | /r/AntiFeminists | 01/08/22 04:15 PM |
| 2 | posted this on askfeminists, all the answers were no's and some even accused me of wanting to violence womenThis is the comment I was looking for. I was thinking the same thing | /r/AntiFeminists | 28/07/22 07:23 PM |
| 1 | Feminism 101. Misandry is doctrine.GSM stands for gender and sexual minorities. It’s shorter and easier to say than LGBTQIA+ and better encompasses all queer identities. It isn’t used nearly as often so it’s less of a well-known acronym. Although, it should really be GSRM (gender, sexual, and romantic minorities) to fit in identities like aromantic, but it gets the idea across either way | /r/AntiFeminists | 28/07/22 07:15 PM |
| 4 | r/incelstear sub posted some comments of femcels and some of them either find them funny or says that they are made by malesThat is a fair argument and I understand where you are coming from. I consider myself a feminist in that I support its core beliefs and advocate for the equality of all people regardless of gender, but I do occasionally feel uneasy using the term for that reason. The feminist movement can get a really bad rap, and you are right though that there a large percentage of vocal “feminists” do push views based in misandry. This is a big issue and I believe people should call out misandry (and misogyny… | /r/AntiFeminists | 27/07/22 03:21 PM |
| -4 | r/incelstear sub posted some comments of femcels and some of them either find them funny or says that they are made by malesI read the posts on r/twoxchromosomes, r/witchesvspatriarchy, and r/askfeminists semi-frequently, but I haven’t seen any comments similar to the above, or at least not any that are highly upvoted and supported (as for why I’m here, this subreddit showed up randomly in my feed and I was curious to learn more and see what it is about). And although I haven’t participated in it personally, I have heard that FDS is fairly toxic and man-hating, so I can agree with you there. Granted, with the other s… | /r/AntiFeminists | 27/07/22 02:33 PM |
| -7 | r/incelstear sub posted some comments of femcels and some of them either find them funny or says that they are made by malesI don’t think a genuine feminist would argue that men don’t experience trauma and only care about sex. Those ideas are based in some massive toxic masculinity bs and aren’t in any way supported by feminism from my understanding. And yes, people can claim to be feminists and say things like that, but that isn’t feminism; it’s misandry | /r/AntiFeminists | 27/07/22 01:36 PM |
