7	Does virgin-shaming exist? Yes. I’m an asexual spectrum man and I’ve been shamed about it by both men and women. I don’t out myself as ace irl, but I say “I’m waiting till marriage” and people shame me for it. I don’t look down on people who do engage in sex or have very active sex lives. As far as I’m concerned, what people do with their bodies is theirs alone. I’m against purity culture too.
