| 5 | Off the top of your head: what is a double standard that helps men or hurts men?Men are taught to think that getting kicked in the nuts is an inevitable fact of life. some of it comes from movies and TV shows making it out to be this funny thing. Ive had male and female friends kick me in the nuts as hard as they could over something as stupid as a PlayStation controller. I think this is less now than 20 yrs ago but Women are not taught to expect any such violence. | /r/MensRights | 21/09/24 10:20 PM |

| – | What are some things that this movement has actually achieved?Dudes used to get kicked in the balls for the most trivial things. I don’t think it’s viewed as "funny" anymore. But it wasn’t always like that. It was just seen as a big joke where as a man I can say it’s the most agony I’ve ever been in. I can remember rolling on the ground in pain over something as stupid as who gets a remote because friends/siblings/whoever would take the quick win even though that escalates it to 100. | /r/MensRights | 29/08/24 12:13 AM |
