His post is one humongous strawman. He basically says 'don't be an abusive shit head', which has nothing to do with the redpill.

Economic theory applies just as much to relationships as it does to any other domain where unlimited desires meet limited resources.

If you watch the full video this is taken from he says he suspected they were bluffing then he heard rounds in the shotgun (the second gunman he talks to).

I think my problem is I was viewing r/theredpill as a place to discuss TRP as a philosophy (and philosophical debate requires evidence and logic to sway opinions), rather than as a community meant to embrace masculinity in the context of TRP. Thanks for the feedback and discussion, it's been enlightening.

Ahh, I feel "... discourse designed to change behaviours... " is really insightful. For myself, no discourse is going to change an opinion I already have formed if it is based on emotion or mere rhetoric. If an idea is novel, rhetoric could sway me but if I've already formed a fully conscious opinion on a matter it won't be easily swayed. In this discussion I think the posts about the nature of women and those on game need to he seperated. Game, SMV, etc., are all obvious if one looks at sexual …

Thanks for the book suggestion, I'll definitely look into it. I'm confused on your point about of dividing the "social world" from the "scientific world". Both are part of reality and are inherently related. isn't it required that one understand reality (through the scientific world) in order to ensure their emotions and political opinions are based on the facts of reality? And understanding reality through the scientific world would allow one to understand the basis for others emotions and poli…

Until reading these recent posts on the rhetoric of the redpill I have felt the AWALT posts to be intellectually dishonest, not because I'm repulsed by such ideas but because claiming AWALT in almost all cases is demonstrably false. Claiming a statement as universally true, when it is not, and not giving the appropriate qualifiers for the statement makes the entire argument false. I appreciate how the rhetoric is used to introduce ideas, but I find it immoral to present such rhetoric as fact. Th…

He broke frame by over reacting. An alpha wouldn't care that some random girl he's never met before rejected him.

It is good for those who accept the red pill but don't yet know enough about it to refute the arguments put forth against it.

I feel like it all depends on your career choice. School is imenseley important for STEM majors, maybe for other majors just getting the degree along with building a network is more important.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
