Patriarchy as is it now used is a theodicy, an explanation for evil. I think it's arational.

They aren't attractive. That's what's wrong with them.

Yes! The issue is that she can just do whatever she wants. Total impunity.

These sorts of statements always stuck me as a bit question begging. "All you gotta do is the thing you were wanting to do!" Well, yeah, I know that.

One of the many reasons nothing ever improves...

I agree, there's a mental complicity, an acceptance of one's own evil, required to do something like this as opposed to flying into a fit of rage in the moment.

The thing that always bothered me about this statement is the "maturity" is never defined.

Call me the I word but I don't care. I can't get dates, a girlfriend whatever, and I have tried. I wanted companionship and got nothing. When I do get matches or numbers, it's curt conversations and they make me feel like a bug. It goes nowhere and there's tons of hoops to jump through, only to get stood up anyway. I just don't want to bother anymore.

Holy shit the comments on that site too. I used to be anti no-comments, but God damn, maybe they should be eliminated.

The reddit comments on this story elsewhere are contemptible. They wouldn't be made if it were a man doing this to his girlfriends car (or if it were her doing it to her girlfriend).

Yes, you can't withhold sex or emotional intimacy (i,e. fail to meet the demands of one side of a transaction) in order to get sex or emotional intimacy (the other part of the transaction) and either can also be denied at any time for any reason. If it's not "owed" than what causes the obligation not to withhold? How is that not being "owed"?

It's funny to hear my mom comment on these kinds of women. How to combat this as a man? No clue. It's a lose, lose game, just do your best to avoid it and people who are like this.
/r/MensRights10/07/25 06:31 PM

So what? He should do what's best for him just like everyone else does.
/r/MensRights09/07/25 06:13 PM

I agree with this completely, lots of people are "depressed" because their life just sucks. You have to learn to cope with this but there nothing "wrong" with a lot men who feel this way.

You can't miss at all socially as an average man. Even just a little bit is like walking off a cliff.

"Obama was president, that means racism is solved!" kind of thinking.

Who called straight men evil... Naturally this ain't winning you any friends here. Could've just left that bit out yeah?
/r/MensRights30/06/25 06:53 PM

Yeah, average everyday men are only interacted with as part of a job, or as a necessity for some service.

They make more for the same positions... They are more likely to even get hired... Doesn't matter. Women most effected

Over time I realized how much I've been made to feed disgusting and guilty for having any sexual feelings at all. It's insane

That clump of meaningless cells becomes a real live child with inalienable rights pretty quickly once it's about extracting resources out of men.
/r/MensRights23/06/25 09:31 PM

Women are better at being men too! You didn't get the memo?
/r/MensRights23/06/25 09:21 PM

LMAO "at least of men seated in what looked like dates." So if I go out to eat by myself I guess I just don't count. Men just don't exist without women.
/r/MensRights22/06/25 06:07 PM
2

Might get flagged as transphobic I don't care. That this gets traction is just evidence them men still don't matter. People only care because it's a transman, that's why it starts out mentioning that. They care because it's a transman, i.e. actually a woman. If this person really thought they were a man they'd just type this shit out like any other man, they don't because they don't care either.

Most don't have a choice. It's either partner up with someone like that (and reap other benefits) or stay single.

God damn just look how desperate those teen-aged boys are to kowtow to feminism. Ngl that's the most brutal thing about that thread.
/r/MensRights28/05/25 06:05 PM

Even worse imo. It's an identity which can be assigned, and the only judge of that asignature is they themselves. An ironclad web.
/r/MensRights24/05/25 09:40 PM

That's encouraging!
/r/MensRights24/05/25 05:52 PM

That actually sounds interesting. How does one get started in this kind of hobby?

Most of the people in this sub don't care about most men either, they still have to "fit the bill."

A local guy repairs appliances for a living. He was bitching about how the youths don't want to work with their hands, but demanded anyone who would work for him know what to do without training, like some 20 year old just bought a warehouse full of broken shit and fixed it on his free time for funsies just so he could work for you. What a joke.
/r/MensRights09/05/25 04:15 PM

It's always the damn money. "Nobody wants to work" yeah nobody wants to work for peanuts no shit.

I remember a while back some women had posted pictures on facebook of some kids they were babysitting and laughing at his little weewee. If a man had done something like that he would be beaten to death in the street.
/r/MensRights28/04/25 09:16 PM

Right but you put in some effort. It's completely reasonable to expect your partner to put in a similar amount of effort.
/r/MensRights28/04/25 07:17 PM

Yeah the way to do it
/r/MensRights24/04/25 08:23 PM

Yep. Conservatives are still more than happy to siphon away our money. But they don't think I'm an evil insect, at least.

I'm thankful my parents weren't this way, but I've seen it in others, and farrrrrr more often.

They're gonna do it tomorrow if it's convenient for whatever point they want to make to advance women.

Neither such acts of pretense require actual participation in the deed. If you pretend to be a boxer, and you know, actually go out and train because you're pretending so hard, guess what? You are an actual boxer.
/r/MensRights05/03/25 09:36 PM

Nah if you are pretending to be married for long enough you married.
/r/MensRights05/03/25 03:33 PM

There's another aspect not touched on in this post. I've seen the post a couple times, some boy's sister needs a kidney or something and the boy immediately response with willingness to die for her. He's like fucking 8 or something but the status quo of his life being worth less, existing as a sacrifice to save a life that really matters is instilled even at that age. It's insane and nobody calls it out.
/r/MensRights04/03/25 06:54 PM

If they say "stop, for real!" or some variant, you stop. Easy

The wage gap has been using the same tired statistic that was collected once under a questionable methodology from over 50 years ago. Truth was never the goal

This is one of the things that really rake me. Like holy shit they immediately try to create excuses. Depression means you kill yourself not others, and of course if it were a man...
