"That makes sense, since you lost my respect by trying to sleep with me."

I'm a face gal. So many men with good bodies have ugly/unattractive faces. I want a gorgeous face and intelligent, good-natured, caring eyes and expression. Clean shaven or a small amount of well-groomed intentional stubble. Nice voice and hands come next. I like a well-built but not gym ratted body. Don't really care about the cock, I'm asexual so I won't be playing with it. I'm all about the face and the heart.

Well, the bank still can LOL! Mine won't be paid off for a while. But in the unlikely eventuality I pick a man, I'm renting it out, not selling it and relinquishing my equity and time in the market. It's my investment.

But they only believe in it for women. Men will go, "But what if your soulmate is ten years older than you, wants you to ask him out, be a SAHM of five kids, and support his video game career? What might you be missing?" A man will never tell a man, "But what if your soulmate is overweight, needs you to support her financially and be the father to her existing children, and is ten years older than you? What might you be missing?"

Exactly! I'm childfree and people pull that nonsense with kids too: "But what if someone is your soulmate and wants kids?" ....Then he's obviously NOT my soulmate?

I'm doing the work on my own life. Anyone who wants to join it has to make it better, and not in any way worse. I've been single most of my life because potential partners would have made it worse, and if it stays that way, I'm fine with that. I'm asexual, so even though I'm nominally straight, I'd also be completely open to a platonic deep friendship and marriage to a woman. I'm starting to think that's far more likely than meeting a man who meets my standards.

My soulmate isn't so timid that he can't even bring himself to ask out the girl of his dreams. I don't want an "alpha male". But I do want inner confidence and the courage to risk rejection. I want stable, solid, steady, and loving. Those words don't describe a man who can't ask a question.

What - WHY would any woman do that? We need to be buying our own houses. A house is an investment and an appreciating asset, and we need our own. If we marry and move in with a man, we need to retain our house (with a prenup!) and rent it out to build equity and have a fallback in case of divorce. Men cannot be trusted to provide for our futures. Given that's the case.... no, I'm not building his assets. I'm building mine. DO NOT hand financial power over your future to a man. He has the attitud…

I will never have a child. Ever. The only way I might consider it is if the government paid me a full, generous salary for 18 years at true living wage including health care and vacation benefits, followed by a generous pension. Modern men cannot be trusted to support their spouse and children, period. I'm not interested in doing it just for "fun" - nothing about it is fun. Women say, "Motherhood is the hardest job in the world" and then turn around and do it for free. Fuck. That.

Yes. Please do move on. We really aren't interested in sex with you, so if that's your goal.... find someone who is. You aren't the prize.

Proud ice queen here! I'm asexual, so - yeah, if you want sex, go on your merry way. If you want an actual best friend and partner who isn't your sex toy, we can talk.

That would make my troll side want to go into overdrive. Every single trip: "Employee assistance to family planning" I pull out boxes, look at them, ask for advice on them. Put everything back, say I'll think about it. "Employee assistance to family planning" I make my selection and continue shopping. "Employee assistance to family planning" "I'm sorry, I changed my mind. I'd like the other brand, please." "Employee assistance to family planning" "I was just wondering if these are going to go on…

I've gotten a couple of the most absurdly low-effort Scrotograms. It's like LVM in action. No more than two sentences, no correct capitalization, bad spelling, and no reason for me to give them the time of day.

Oh, of course! Sit down here, scrote, and let me tell you the story of how Steak and BJ day became tradition. I know men aren't much for history, so I'll explain it to you. You see, 3/01 was once a day when men realized they needed to up their game for the spring to make sure that their partners didn't leave them when it was beautiful outside and all the competing suitors started greeting them with flowers and smiles. So the men would clean the entire house from top to bottom, assume all childca…

Their job in dating us is literally to make us want to be with them and want to have sex with them. It's to show that they are stable, caring, affectionate, respect boundaries, are reliable providers, and if given the chance, will put our pleasure first in bed while respecting our consent or lack thereof. They should be trying to prove themselves as worthy mates. Instead they show up all shabby at the plumage, squawking, "Sex? Sex? Sex? Me want pussy. Gib pussy? Here's a peanut - sexxxxx?" And t…

Having sex with a "good" lover ended up making me realize I was asexual. He did everything by the numbers: consent, foreplay, massage, patience, going down on me, asking what turned me on. He didn't make me orgasm once (though not for lack of trying, I'm not blaming that on him per se). My point here is that he was one of the "good" ones in terms of not being selfish about sex. But sex was always a matter of me powering through disinterest, discomfort, and pain because I wanted him to enjoy hims…

YES. Housekeeping is a basic, "entry-level" job in career terms. If he can't manage what someone earning starvation wages cleaning hotel rooms is capable of.... wow. You are so not up to my standards, Bucko.

Not that I would aspire to be in or stay in a relationship like that.... but if my reaction had to be anything other than "I'm out", it would be, "Well, I never could have imagined you'd be this incapable of pulling your weight in basic tasks. Looks like we'll need to hire a [housekeeper] [nanny] [laundry service]. It will, of course, come out of your funds. This is the replacement sweater I want for the one you ruined." I haven't seen this opinion shared around much on FDS, but while I'm less p…

Is is cheating to just say Jensen Ackles? Well groomed, clean shaven, stylish short haircut that is well maintained, and not a lot of body hair. An attractive face is a must and my biggest make or break physically. You've got to have kind, good-humored eyes and a tender nature that is visible in the lines and muscles in your face. It's all about the face, and the way you use hair to compliment it. A deep but soft voice. Rumbly and pleasant, not high or whiny or hard or gruff. I like muscle defin…

I own a jewelry business. I design engagement rings, and not cheap ones, as well as doing custom work. The fact that they start on the expensive side helps weed out LVM clients. We don't sell much that's super generic like the ring in this picture. The guys who start by loving one of our designs and thinking it's perfect for the person they're dating (male or female; we have plenty of gay clients too), or wanting to make it perfect, usually end up purchasing the ring and following through on the…

When I read the line "how to get men" my eyes rolled out of their sockets. Their mindset is so wrapped up in "must get girl" that they can't fathom that non-pickme women aren't trying to "get" guys. I'm single. I'd rather be single than in a relationship with the men who hit on me. I don't enjoy being used as a sex toy. If a man wants to be in my life and my body, he has to improve my life, my emotional well-being, and make sex something that brings me pleasure, not pressure and pain. I'm not a …

Men: If you neeeeeeed sex so badly, reform your behavior to make yourself appealing to have sex with. Right now, women: Bear the brunt of most forms of birth control and the consequences of its failure, Get treated poorly by sexual partners for having had sex with other men, Are likely to be "negged" and put down in the initial dating process, Are pressured, raped, and murdered at an unacceptable level during dating and marriage, Rarely receive intentional sexual pleasure from men even when prov…

I wouldn't date a man who reduced women to numbers on a scale. I don't mentally or overtly rank men on a numeric scale, I think it's a disgusting, dehumanizing practice. Thinking like that about women is a dealbreaker to me.

I loathe beards. I won't date a man with a beard. They've been a turnoff for me before I was old enough to know what a turnoff was, and I hate how trendy they are now. In my opinion, the trend towards beards is simply a way for men to opt out of one of the very, very few societally imposed grooming standards that actually apply to men and not women. They get to be lazy about their grooming, while feeling smug and "manly". I don't mind a short, fashionable scruff that's carefully trimmed and done…

There are very few men out there that I am attracted to. Part of this is because I'm asexual. I'm exceptionally picky about faces. I don't care if a guy is short or bald if his face is hot, but most of them so are not! I'll accept "average" in many things about men.... but his face better be looking like Jensen Ackles if I'm gonna say yes!

I don't care about height. I don't think I would want to date a man shorter than me at 5' 7", but I find men my own height and taller attractive. The caveat is that insecurity is a deal-killer. If he's short and insecure about it, that's a total no-go. If he sees it as normal and is fine with his own height and doesn't see anything in it to be ashamed about, he's golden. I also am not turned off by an otherwise attractive bald man who embraces it with confidence (think Bruce Willis). I'm very tu…

I fell in love with a co-worker, and asked him out. He turned me down. Oh, not cringy enough for you? Years later, I see a headline: he went to jail for raping multiple women. Including one he met when she was in jail at the facility where he was a correctional officer.

Ohh! I always wanted a fat gamer dude with an infant he can't be bothered to change. Ideally he has crude taste in music, a grade-schooler's grasp of grammar, and can't be assed to lead so much as a round of texting. No. Wait. That's my nightmare. Moving on.

Stuff like this is why I think many men just want a glorified sex toy. "I want a cool, chill girl with high sex drive! Nah - I don't want to have to like, be around her or be loyal to her. Just, you know, someone to call when I'm thirsty after watching a game with my buds." They don't get that someone like you, who is offering exactly what they think they want, is also a human who demands mutual respect and pleasure, not mutual "use" of each other's bodies as sex toys.

The "complete life without him" is basically what I'm aiming for - and as far as self-improvement, I want to lose some weight/become more fit, move up a tax bracket, and get some dental work done, as well as push myself into more social experiences. I think a goal of having the most fulfilling life possible, regardless of the people in it, is one that attracts others - male and otherwise. I know I can be happy (happier than most couples!) single, I'm just curious whether dating is worth making p…
