Does she have to make the decision now? That’s all I was getting at.

Give yourself 15 years and reassess. When I was your age, I didn’t want kids either.

What stops him from making more than you on your good months?

Most? Where do you live? I thought it was just because I live in a low income small town.

Attention? Bad attention is better than no attention to some.

My husband and I don't talk about anything important while our son is awake or in front of us. He gets home, I give him a hug and we sometimes go to our room and close the door for "adult talk" but usually we spend our together time after 8pm when son goes to bed. Kids do need to know when to be quiet but it's a process. Your husband needs to be able to hold his important thoughts until you two can be alone.

Wellbutrin + adipex keep me from craving bad foods. It's going to be up to her to make a change.

Great advice. We have a housekeeper that comes twice a month, yard guy, we hire plumbers, whoever to come out. Hubs can make more money doing his actual job and farming out the stuff around the house. We both do the laundry. OP, I get what you're saying about living together with no ring. It's almost like you feel you don't have a voice to say anything bc you're afraid of coming across like a shrew and then you'll never get the ring. Hubs and I married at 23 after dating for 4 years, but we neve…

Goodness. It's great to dream, but put some feet to your dreams. In the meantime, use moisturizer and don't bake in the sun. Try to go to college or trade school and then get a job that makes decent money. Odds are good you will meet your man by then.

I would pleasantly call a yard guy to come take care of the weeds. Or I might would cheerfully go buy some roundup and spray them.

That kid still has time to get ugly. I wouldn't focus on this.

My son is 6. My hubs and would be free to walk around the house naked again if we'd had a kid when we first met. Haha. Time gets away...

Hmmm. Maybe he offered to come bc he knew that's what he was supposed to do, but was hoping you would say no. He should've just been honest if he couldn't come and not offered. I'm sorry he hurt you.

You told him to come too late. He offered to come earlier. Don't hold this against him--his work is important,

I thought about divorce summer of 2016 when I realized my husband had cheated on me. I was literally about to call an attorney. He came home, we did individual and couples counseling. Our child was about to start school and I didn't want to shake up his life. It's been tough. We met at age 19 and have been through a lot together. I meant my vows and didn't want to look back and wonder if I could've tried harder. So I decided to try. We had been married 12 yrs at that point. As I stated in my fir…

?? Not sure what you're asking. If my husband died or we did divorce, I have a feeling that dating again at this age would not be fun for me. Small town, I'm no spring chicken. And I don't want to help raise anyone else's kids.

This is true. I met my husband when we were 19. Been married since we were 23. No way in hell would I want to re-enter the dating scene. I'm past my prime and I know it. I'm almost 37. One kid. Forgave the hubs his affair bc the kid and I knew deep down he was right bc I hadn't been giving enough sex. When I mentioned red pill to him he was horrified bc alt right , etc. But you guys are on to something. I'm a conservative Christian in the Deep South and so much of what y'all are saying about the…

Oh. Ok. I didn't want to do it either, but it ended up being a great decision for our fam. Good luck! If he insists on it changing, not much you can do except work on being the best you. Maybe he will wake up one day.

Have you considered getting a job to help with the finances? It costs a lot to live these days.

Yes, and when God forgives us, he forgets about it. I need to work on that part when I forgive others, and myself. I think if you can find some time for marriage therapy and a weekly sitter so y'all can go out it would be a good thing. I was raised in a conservative Christian household and my parents Only went on one date when my brother and I were kids. Now, I'm thankful they weren't party animals, but them never having fun together without us wasn't good. But it's all I knew. My husband cheate…

Lord y'all! Who is making any money? Y'all need some money coming in to make your lives easier. You can only do so much. And you can't bank on his potential forever. That's bullshit that he doesn't want you spending money on clothes. Don't be ashamed to be a Christian. The Lord doesn't forget about us. You've got to show him that you will be fine with or without him, and if that means doing a 180 and moving out with the kids, so be it. Your husband needs a fucking wake up call. And unless he's w…
