Wow, that's deep. Thanks for sharing that story. I have a friend whose husband has sickle cell. I don't know if you are familiar with the illness but it is highly hereditary and has a significant impact on life span. She still chose to have biological children with him. I personally disagree with that decision. If I were him I wouldn't risk it because I would blame myself forever for knowingly cursing my children with that hardship. To this day I never asked her if her child has the disease.

Yea, people are just being disingenuous by trying to make everything appear equal. That study saying women get paid less, which was heavily misinterpreted, even if what they were trying to say were true my thought was well, more men have whole households that depend on that income. But that study was misleading to begin with.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/02/20 04:37 PM

Umm, I think you miss the point. They are still working, I assume, otherwise where is their income coming from. I don't think they stopped working to become a professional traveller. So, yea, they are still in the workforce, accumulating means. Where as a stay at home parent is essentially unemployed. If it is not for the income of someone else it wouldn't be sustainable.

I don't know about you but I don't mess up my house every day to the point that it needs a days worth of cleaning, everyday. And as I said before the older the kid gets the less you have to do. Eventually the kid is going to be cleaning up after themselves and doing chores. As far as errands, I can literally get groceries delivered now so there goes that task. For the record, I'm not anti stay at home mom but let's not pretend it's not a sweet gig.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/02/20 04:14 PM

Honestly if you get the kid to 8 it's pretty much a "job" that runs itself. I can't wrap my head around what a stay at home mom does once the kid is old enough to catch the bus on their own.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/02/20 04:04 PM

It is double standard because men don’t have to risk their body/life with pregnancy. Pregnancy doesn't have that much to do with who CAN stay home with kid after it's out the body. Even beyond that, most of a stay at home moms time isn't during the infancy stage.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/02/20 03:28 PM
1

I agree. I think what they were attempting to point out is the double standard. The fact that the option to drop out the work force is even a viable option is something pretty much exclusive to women. MANY women I went to school with planned to only work as long as it took to find a man that would enable them to become a stay at home mom. I'd honestly like to see peoples reaction if this were the goal of some 19 year old guy to marry some professional lady and he stay home with the kid.

I didn't say it was but it is one of the major characteristics people view the playing field as uneven. If women were as strong as men I don't think people would find the idea of competing against each other so unfair. For example the idea of men fighting women is horrifying but if they were the same strength and speed would that be as distasteful

Yup, I guess that's my point. You keep seeing these articles like gamers go after women because it's a guys club. No, gamers go after her because she's a gamer and they/we treat everyone shitty. If anything they are treating her as an equal...shitty.

Yea, I'm not sure about the swatting but I wouldn't be surprised. I'm just saying woman shouldn't feel like they are being targeted specifically. Gamers treat everyone shitty, all races, genders and sexual orientation. Women shouldn't let that scare them away though. We all have to deal with it.

I think back to the amazing Justin v Daigo match. What that pianist is doing is deflecting every hit after the first. Interesting you mention that. Yea, probably true. I just thought gaming was an interesting case study because this narrative is that woman are an untapped market and men have kept them out. I personally think the audience isn't there. They keep trying to make games more female friendly, a la Anita Sarkeesian, but I don't think it will matter. I don't think cleavage is the reason girls aren't playing Mortal Kombat.

Possibly but no where the disadvantage of most sports. There is, at least in my opinion, no reason why women couldn't compete in Soul Calibur, or Sam Sho or MK Or Guitar Hero. It probably matters more in games like CoD or Battlefield where you are dead in a seconds time. But when woman like this are around.. https://www.reddit.com/r/toptalent/comments/cq3a7o/valentina_lisitsa_has_been_flexing_on_every/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share I do believe they could be competitive other than not …

4

Eh, I don't know about that. That's debatable but other than possibly reaction time there is really no PHYSICAL reason women cant excel at competitive gaming other than a lack of interest. For example the Guinness Book of World Records for Guitar Hero top score is separated by gender. A game that has nothing to do with your strategy/tactical thinking you mentioned still has a man with top score and the only reason a woman is even mentioned is because of the segregation.
/r/PussyPassDenied14/08/19 03:16 PM

People are complaining about a lack of women representation in competitive gaming. That may be one of the few "sports" where women aren't at a significant disadvantage and they still didn't show up. Maybe women aren't into competing as much as men, regardless of ability so you are dealing with a MUCH smaller talent pool 🤔 If you build it they will come isn't always true.

Like I tried to make clear in the last part of my post I think definitely should not pile on her at all. I know. I was making another point that the media may offer another temptation that wasn't her original motive. People get tempted by the fame & fortune and corrupt what was originally a well intentioned person. That's the other side of their influence.

I'm not saying that the media isn't click baity or up to an agenda. All I was saying is MAYBE we shouldn't pile on her as if she is orchestrated this. Call it unpersonhood, call it Voldemort, call it whatever you like. All it is, is exile, not a magic curse. Enemies will always find other enemies and become friends. Those friends will take them in and possibly give them new dangerous goals. I rather catch em and put them in a box and throw away the key, rather than let them roam around unchecked with a new Mission Impossible villain code name.

I've never understood what is basically exile does for our safety. I'd much rather for her to be taken into custody while we know where she is, instead of disappearing somewhere and popping up later wearing a suicide vest. The marriage contract is designed against the man, for the woman. It used to be a serious and solemn thing. I would venture to say the reason for the state of marriage today is due to being imbalanced in the favor of men from the beginning. Women used to be literally property after marriage and like most things in modern society there was an overcorrection. Men are currently on receiving end of that pendulum. What needs to be done now is a balance. There should be a pre marriage contract in case…

People die in a car wearing a seatbelt. Still rather have one on. Just operating on logic I think it's only reasonable to figure out what should happen in the event of a break-up when they are happy with each other. Every other contract specifies what happens inthe even of a termination. Why should a marriage contract be any different?

It's not true even on a superficial level. Men are just as shallow when it comes to appearance. Instamgram "models" and low top wearing streamers are supporting themselves on men's shallowness. It's biology really. Women are going to be more choosey due to the hefty personal cost of pregnancy. Men are driven by …

Eh, I don't know. I believe they only THINK men care. I honestly have never heard a man, IRL, express how much better heels made a girl look, same thing for finger nails that makes her hands barely functional. Anecdotal, I know but if women spent more time developing actual interests instead of such a focus on temporary appearance boosters that would go much further. IMO. I'd take a girl that will give me a challenge in Smash Bros WAY before a girl that knows how to walk in high heels. I give yo…

News has become entertainment. As long as News remains for profit it will continue to pander to the shortest attention span. I can't remember the last time I haven't seen "breaking news" being flashed on screen every hour. I honestly feel bad for the female "reporters". I imagine wearing a miniskirt while a camera remains at crotch level just waiting for slip up to go viral has to be nerve racking. Indeed. There's nothing wrong with the Twitter comment. If it's a legit post it's actually funny. If you set it up there's a good chance someone's going to knock it down comedically. First, I had plenty of sleep. You are over a week late to this conversation. Second, I obviously don't mean this specific woman. Point being the guy used language, "nigger"(now deleted), that he would probably never say face to face had he the opportunity. People get on the internet, get all bold and think it's cool to be racist because no one knows who they are. I didn't think I had to break that down but everyone moves at different speeds.

That whole stigmatized belief thing really muddied the waters. It definitely seemed like you were trying to justify using slurs. No, I definitely don't care. I think the internet should be the 1 place where people get to be really honest. I'm completely fine with people using slurs, you're the one butthurt about it. I guess it's not in me to say that kind of stuff to random people unprovoked. Even then there is a line. I really don't give a fuck. Why even put yourself in this position? If you're…

You used the word "outrage" to express how you were trying to motivate people by your actions. Yes we both used "slurs". Once again its about nuance. It's the context we used the slurs in. I used it to repeat quotes or to explain word usage. I never tried to justify there use in everyday dialogue. You specifically mentioned you called a man a nigger because you lost to him in a video game. I've said all I can say on this I think. Check my other comments, but I'll try to sum it up for you. This is clearly about settling some vendetta for whatever reason in my opinion. These people aren't going after any other group that is probably guilty of the same behavior. Heck, maybe go after the "religions" that don't have to pay ANY taxes while the conartist leaders fly around the world in private jets preying on the sick, poor and desperate. But yea, cam girls selling sex to the willing... …

Nor do I. I don't have a dog in the fight. Didn't know this was an actual thing that was happening till I read it on here. I'm old school. Porn was something that you watch pre-recorded on a TV. That being said I think it's silly to spend this energy going after this ONE segment of the population when almost everyone in similar situations does it, eg skips out on taxes. If the IRS finds them, good, that's their job but it's quite petty that people are helping them.

Or we can treat them like just about every other, MAN and WOMAN, that doesn't collect a check from a regular employer and not sweat it. Because we know just about EVERYONE that works for themselves doesn't report taxes or at least not accurately. But yea, we can pretend this doesn't have anything to do with a bunch of bitter boys trying to get back at girls that hurt their feelings. Yea, let's act like that's not the case 🙃

Like I said. I completely agree when it comes to certain court procedures the deck is definitely stacked against men. As comedian Ares Spears explains... https://youtu.be/91kriWQSfbk This shit is fucked. It needs to be addressed. That being said, we need to make sure that a desire to reform certain aspect of the system doesn't turn in to an, us vs them, situation. There are shitty women just as there are shitty men and all should be addressed on a case by case basis. Thus the issue with the "bel…

Damn, I guess I can just link to this reply from now on because there isn't much else to say. Except for the same people going after these women are the same people using their services. I think they think porn fairies conjure that stolen content to the "free" tube sites.

You guys are funny. You don't even see the logic flaw in statements like "get that service free". If these "thots" don't get paid that "free" content doesn't get made, if it doesn't get made it can't be pirated to put on those sites, no more "free" site. Not to mention the ONLY reason those site exist is because porn doesn't get the same protection as other forms of entertainment although it's consumed at equal to or greater numbers as the rest. If they treated the adult industry like the music …

Nah, "gamers" are not trying to right so wrong. It's just some guys who happen to play games or apparently "gamers rise" is some meme I apparently missed. Last thing I want is this getting traction and it gets some kind of write up on an online gaming site that this stupidity has anything to do with gamers.
/r/PussyPassDenied29/11/18 09:42 PM
1

Ya see. There isn't a "war against men" and that's exactly why you have this mentality of scoring points. That blanket statement is exactly the issue with all side. Would I like to see some better divorce and child custody laws for men, yes. Do I think "believe all women" is bullshit yes. But this sky is falling, war on men, nonsense makes everything look silly. It's easy to dismiss actual issues with this, He Man Woman Haters Club mentality.
/r/PussyPassDenied29/11/18 09:41 PM
1

Alrighty buddy. Whatever floats your boat. If you want continue your war against women to help you feel better, go for it. I just don't want it being done under the "gamer" banner. That is literally the only reason I felt motivated to post to this nonsense. I wish you luck in life but not on this project. Later gator.

Ah, so that's what happened. It's like this sub lost all nuance. People used to police each other with "thats not ppd". Now it's turned into she's a woman...get her. Which, ironically, is EXACTLY what guys were complaining some of the women movements were doing to men. Not being able to take things case by case is how you lose legitimacy.

Honestly though, where did this shit come from? When did we go from discussing actual injustices to this witch hunt. Shit has gone off the rails lately.

With that logic you might as well say, Racecar drivers rise, Football players rise up, Chefs rise up...we need to go after the sex industry (that caters mainly to men) because it is mostly compromised of women. Because they are getting away with not paying taxes on the money WE MEN mostly, give them. This reminds me so much of the people bashing gay people and then sneak off to their local gay club at night. You said it yourself, "men are increasingly tired of women's bullshit." Yea, probably tr…

I was talking about the members of this forum. This shit isn't a blip on any game forum I've come across, Thank God. This sub has gone from talking about women who thought they could get away with stuff because they are a woman to going after them for being a woman(in the sex industry). Just sayin, it really comes off as a bunch of bitter guys that got burnt by cam girls that have found a way to get a little pay back. Also, no this has nothing to do with gaming. This is one of those, all thumbs …

Yea, you should pay. Not disputing that. What I'm getting at is that people sale stuff under the table; sex, items, food, services... whatever and I bet most don't pay what they should. It happens all the time. But somehow cam girls are the only ones on the radar. Kinda makes me wonder why...

/r/PussyPassDenied29/11/18 06:57 PM

This has NOTHING to do with PPD. They aren't getting away with paying for taxes because they are a woman. They are getting away with it as an independent operator of a small business (if you want to call it that). If guys could get someone to pay to see his twig and berries, he would probably not pay taxes either. What's next? You guys gonna hop on Craigslist and set up stings to report people selling their Logo collections? Do what you want but at least be honest about why.
/r/PussyPassDenied29/11/18 06:54 PM
3

Eh, I've always claimed "gamer". People ask, what do you like to do in your free time? "I'm a gamer." Oh, what do you play..etc, etc. I don't want to answer that question and internet beefs with pornstars over taxes come to mind. That's why "I care" See what I did there.

Hmmm, ha good to know. I didn't look at the name of the poster. Don't I look silly. I'll take that one. Not sure where gamers rise up came from. Gotta Google that one. Maybe gamer gate... Lot's of people refer to themselves as that. It's a hobby thing that I don't think a person should feel bad about. Boxer, runner, gamer...why not own the label of an activity you love? In my opinion anyway.
/r/PussyPassDenied29/11/18 05:31 PM
-4

Ok, cool. Let's try an honest civil debate... Let me ask you this. Let say hypothetically you find out most KKK members also love to play games. Would that mean Klan issues are also "Gamer" issues?

-10

Good for you.
/r/PussyPassDenied29/11/18 05:07 PM
-5

Like I said. I don't care what you guys do. My issue is with the "gamer" label. You know what unites "gamers"? GAMING Just because a small group of you that happen to also play games happen to get off on this does not make this a "gamers" cause. I'd give you 10 to 1 odds most gamers don't even know about this and wouldn't give a shit if they did. This is not a "gamers" issue.
/r/PussyPassDenied29/11/18 05:07 PM
-43

Nah, no "we" didn't. " Gamers" have nothing to do with a bunch of bitter guys' sad crusade against cam girls (or whatever) that hurt their feelings. Don't wish that evil on us. Hard enough being accused of being antisocial, basement dwelling neckbeards without being lumped into this mess. But good luck on your project whenever you find a better group name because it sure as heck ain't gamers.

Yea, except for sex workers barely get protection for their products. The porn industry was basically demolished by copyright infringement and the government did squat. Here's what grinds my gears.... These dude are basically the equivalent of "believe all women". Nah, it ain't about equality. It's about being a bitch ass tattletale to what is basically a victimless crime. Do you run around taking video of people Jay walking also or call the cops on someone smoking weed in the park? These dudes are full of impotent rage and have finally found a way to take out their misplaced frustrations over the hot girl they could never get or vicarious revenge on the girlfriend that screwed them over. Indeed. To each their own. Just because I personally would or wouldn't do something shouldn't be the foundation of laws. Should be based on the verifiable harm to society... in my opinion. I would suggest scheduled STD tests and visual checks by the sex worker or on site doctor with the client. Also, maybe the clients sign a release of culpability of assumed risk. As it now people have sex freely with people they meet at bars at 2am or swingers clubs already. Just don't involve money or you might do jail time. Just seems a waste of resources. I much rather the police spend their time looking for actual sex traffickers, child molesters and rapist than two adults that came to a busi…

Just playing devils advocate. I personally believe it should be legal. I think it would cut down on human trafficking and underage abuse. If every sex worker has to have papers it makes it easier to find the ones that don't. Police and such would be much more able to speak openly with sex workers to inquire if they are being forced in to it. Not to mention it's just illogical from a legal stand point. So if you film the sex to share with other people, its art and therefore legal but if you do it…

I did hear someone put up a good argument that it would ruin the contract of marriage. Some believe marriage is the foundation of family and family is the foundation of society. If you are able to turn sex into a socially acceptable commodity you have removed one of the major motivating factor for marriage.
