Future MGTOWRomantic? You do not learn from your mistakes and are easily swayed by emotional / sexual apeals from women. Something I'm still figuring out myself. Better to acknowledge reality than paint over it with colorful language. | /r/MGTOW | 08/04/18 05:07 PM
Taking stock of the women in my familyWhat do you mean cut them out of your life? In a similar situation. | /r/MGTOW | 18/03/18 04:02 PM
Overbearing Women in FamilyOkay I will prepare my arguments and prepare concessions. I have a few ideas already. But I am definitely not involving myself in financial commitments. Yep I need to enjoy life. Live for me. | /r/MGTOW | 17/03/18 06:00 PM
Overbearing Women in FamilyFunny thing about this whole situation is that I THOUGHT I was MGTOW. Listening to a female acquaintance make fun of guys proposing to them, or having a girl tell me she cheated on her bf, then later inviting me to their wedding a year later, showed me AWALT. But then I started asking myself why I'm I still shy, or timid. Why I'm I safe and what I'm I scared of? Even though I'm good in bed, good education, okay with people, bla bla. Why do I fear being confident; I'm never arrogant. I'm boring. … | /r/MGTOW | 17/03/18 05:49 PM
Overbearing Women in FamilyMature emotions? Okay. Respect is definitely something I want. | /r/MGTOW | 17/03/18 05:23 PM
Overbearing Women in FamilyThank you. I read the whole thing. You are right, they both live the life they want, they make the decisions they want while I do not. I am definitely the back-up beta bux. They have kept me from living my own life and it's embarrassing to both realize and admit. Embarrassing because when I read these comments, it's so obvious, but from my own perspective (inside the prison), I couldn't see what what was going on. While staying with my sister, her emotional drunk outbursts about stupid things li… | /r/MGTOW | 17/03/18 05:21 PM
Overbearing Women in FamilyAah okay. The house is like a mouse trap. Difficult to come to terms with how my family has managed to (AWALT) manipulate my thinking. I already have a hard time trusting people. Makes me wonder how marriages built on "trust, love and vows" work if blood relatives can't even be trusted. No point in interacting with someone unless the individual is useful. Life is so simple, lol wtf I'm I living in. | /r/MGTOW | 16/03/18 03:47 PM
Overbearing Women in FamilyMakes 100% sense. I need to grow a backbone and will cut ties. I also need to write down a set of goals and a solid timeline. It feels like I'm waking up from a dream. | /r/MGTOW | 16/03/18 02:06 PM
Overbearing Women in FamilyWomen are fucked up. I need to gtfo. | /r/MGTOW | 16/03/18 04:30 AM
Overbearing Women in FamilyNope, he remarried had a few sons and a daughter. Then something happened and he became an alcoholic. Eventually passed away before his time, only a few years ago. Met my step sister (for the first time) coincidentally while I was completing a studying abroad program. We talked briefly about it. She was there / oversees for work. My mother doesn't want me to speak to the other family (new wife and kids). After posting here I think I should find out what happened, but not now. Looks like I'm bein… | /r/MGTOW | 16/03/18 03:50 AM
Overbearing Women in FamilyMy mother's beta provider? This makes me mad just typing it out. Fuck, I guess this is what happens since my dad isn't around. Fuuuuuuck. Wow holy shit, okay. Damn I wish I never read that. | /r/MGTOW | 16/03/18 02:56 AM
Overbearing Women in FamilyGood advice. This I can do. I need the space. | /r/MGTOW | 16/03/18 02:52 AM
Overbearing Women in FamilyYea this is what I need to do. The poster who recommended not taking the house made me realize that the final threshold is emotional. Good leaders are not emotional. Fuck it. | /r/MGTOW | 16/03/18 02:48 AM
Overbearing Women in FamilyHaha fuck no I'm not the father of my niece. Did I post in trashygonewild? The emotional stress my sister has put me through is honestly not worth engaging with my niece even on holidays, I need to build an identity the way I see fit without fear of judgment. There is no extremely generous inheritance. Without a father figure to help guide me through growing up in the US, I've had to pull myself up by the boot straps, up hill by the horns, with a borrowed silver spoon. Taking over my mother's ho… | /r/MGTOW | 16/03/18 02:31 AM
Overbearing Women in FamilyDon't you feel like you owe them in anyway? | /r/MGTOW | 16/03/18 01:29 AM
Overbearing Women in FamilyI've never thought of my mother as using me as a surrogate husband figure, it makes sense. I cut ties with my sister and her kid. Mentally it feels like a mini divorce, which is wild as shit and fucked up. Glad I'm out. Cutting ties with my mother will be tough. But the reality is that she has land in our home country and she can use her home country's savings to retire. Financially it's feasible. You are right, I shouldn't apologize, just explain the basics. | /r/MGTOW | 16/03/18 01:26 AM
Overbearing Women in FamilyI am not legally tied to my mother's house. All in my mother's name. My mother just verbally told me that she wants me to eventually take over the monthly payments. The house also needs thousands in repairs, which I would have to make if I want to sell it. It is nice that she is willing to pass it on, but she is also passing on the financial obligations of the house. My sister us too unstable to help out mother with the house. I asked my mother to not even tell my sister where I live, etc. | /r/MGTOW | 15/03/18 11:43 PM
