A man helped a lost toddler find her parents, police say. He was smeared online as a predator and fled town. Not if they declare bankruptcy. | /r/MensRights | 27/06/17 05:58 PM

WoahChange the word "men" to literally any other demographic and it would be clearly seen as monstrous. If you changed "men" to "white people" you could get a job with the Democratic Party. | /r/MensRights | 13/04/17 02:12 PM
I recently watched The Red Pill. As a male who had an abusive girlfriend in college, this quote really struck a nerve.have any of you met someone who would actually act like his example? I haven't. Yes, I have. I'm a lawyer and had a client who was the victim of domestic violence. He is a small Mexican guy, about 5'4" and maybe 130 lbs. He had a girlfriend who is Native American, about 6'0" and 300 lbs. One night she got blazing drunk, took a frying pan in each hand, and completely beat the shit out of him. A spectacular beating. It was laughed off. She wasn't prosecuted. | /r/MensRights | 10/04/17 09:20 AM
Big girl playing victim after shopliftingLegally, assault is putting someone in fear of being harmed. Battery is actually harming someone. While you might be able to file a lawsuit for stopping someone from leaving after they steal, there are two big problems. One, you have to show damages if you want to recover. Holding someone won't get you much, if anything. Two, how are you going to get that past a jury? Juries can smell bullshit a mile away. They will never give anything to a shoplifter in a case like this. Source: I'm a lawyer. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 22/03/17 02:18 AM
Penn State will pay $2.4 million for not disclosing crime statistics: They didn't consider boys raped on campus "real" rape victims. Also depending on your state of it's a private prison they may also enjoy sovereign immunity which means your damages are capped. I'm also a lawyer. What does sovereign immunity have to do with a private prison? Sovereign immunity has to do with foreign diplomats. It has nothing to do with prisons. | /r/MensRights | 20/03/17 07:41 AM
Girl tries flirty/cute angle on a judge. After PPD, she gets angry and digs a deeper hole.40s here and I've been burned. Though I never got married. I'm still willing to have a relationship, but my interest in marriage keeps decreasing. If I did, there would have to be a prenup. No two ways about it. I should also add that I'm a lawyer and spent a few years divorcing people. So, yeah, I know a thing or two about that. Some people get lucky and their marriages work. That is awesome for you and congratulations! Others end up living with a fiancée who turns into a raging drunk who throw… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 13/03/17 06:40 PM
Utah Teacher Who Had Sex with Students and Tearfully Cited ‘Extreme Self-Esteem Issues’ Is Denied ParoleThe article says she raped a victim while she was out on bail. She had been arrested and was charged with a number of felonies. She was released on bail. Then she committed the same crime again. Fuck her. Anyone who commits the same crime again while on bail deserves a very long sentence. I don't know if 30 years is too much, but she needs a good 10-15 in the can. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 05/02/17 02:07 AM
Audi releases ad campaign based on the wage gap myth, then immediately debunks it with their next tweet. You couldn't make this up!Here's a fun project: look for entry-level jobs where men are paid more than women. And this is rich stuff coming from Audi, of all manufacturers. The company that cheats on emissions tests. The company that can't even figure out how to build a reliable electrical system. | /r/MensRights | 03/02/17 09:09 PM
MTV releases tv promo for "Darlington" where "strong" women get revenge on men. Video has 10x more dislikes than likes. The black man being beaten based on the accusations of a white woman without any trial was definitely a standout. I think that used to happen back in the day. The SJWs are doing everything they can to turn back the clock. There are now safe spaces where white people aren't allowed. It's just a matter of time before they want their own bathrooms and drinking fountains. White people won't be allowed in the back of the bus, either. It's all about social justice, right? | /r/PussyPassDenied | 12/12/16 02:32 PM
A friend of mine was king hit by his ex and made a good post about the double standards. Its getting a lot of support on facebook and i thought some people on reddit might like to see itIt's as bad in the US. My ex-fiancée would get into drunken rages and throw things at me. Like a dinner plate aimed at my head. I knew calling the police was pointless and would probably get me arrested. Fortunately, I was sober and could GTFO immediately. I'd spend those nights in a local park. This only went on for a few weeks and then I got out of there for good. It bothers me that some domestic violence isn't taken seriously. Of course I don't women to be abused. But sometimes women are the … | /r/MensRights | 28/09/16 05:33 PM
Woman who cried rape after getting cold shoulder in Belfast nightclub is jailed for nine monthsNine months in jail is no joke. I'm a lawyer and I practiced criminal defense for a few years, so I've been in plenty of jails and prisons to visit clients. It's not like anyone actually enjoys it. The number one complaint, by far, is the food. It's terrible. It makes everyone miserable. Two, the loss of freedom really gets to people. You are put on a strict schedule and the guards don't give a fuck. You do what you are told NOW OR ELSE. You have to submit to some arbitrary schedule and nobody r… | /r/MensRights | 19/08/16 03:07 PM
17 year old girl charged with manslaughter after encouraging and coaxing friend to commit suicide. This one is perplexing. I want to see the texts that she sent to him before I make up my mind. Regardless of what she did, I'm going to agree with her lawyer, the charge will never stick. Nope. I'm a lawyer. Encouraging people to commit suicide is generally illegal. I haven't looked up the statutes here, but it's safe to assume they have them since the DA charged her. The only thing she'll be able to do is take a plea bargain. They won't let her go without a conviction. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 13/04/15 11:02 AM
17 year old girl charged with manslaughter after encouraging and coaxing friend to commit suicide. It'll probably go to a jury if it isn't thrown out. If the jury has half a brain they'll convict her. Maybe they'll choose to go in front of a judge in hopes that he/she will be more impartial about law than the jury. It is easy to get off on emotion rather than the wording of the law book. Likely not. If anything, she will take a plea bargain and possibly avoid prison. I'm not familiar with the law in this state, but it is almost always illegal to encourage someone to commit suicide. It won't m… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 13/04/15 10:54 AM
17 year old girl charged with manslaughter after encouraging and coaxing friend to commit suicide.I'm thinking the prosecutor is going to have a hell of a time convicting her. This is tantamount to being in a crowd screaming "jump" to some suicidal dude up on a ledge. Last I heard there was nothing criminal about that. Late to the party - I was just browsing this subreddit - but can't let this one go. I am a lawyer. It depends on the state, but encouraging someone to commit suicide or being a party to a suicide (e.g. giving someone a gun) actually is illegal. It usually gets you some type of… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 13/04/15 10:48 AM
The 18 year old girl who hit and killed 2 kids in a pile of leaves, then drove off and covered up the evidence will not serve any jail time. Her boyfriend on the other hand gets prison time for helping to cover up the evidence.Last time I remember, hit and run deserves jail time. Nope. I am a lawyer. I used to do criminal defense. It all depends. You may or may not get jail or prison for a hit and run. Don't get wound up over the boyfriend, either. He took a plea bargain. If you read the article, it says he plead guilty. He knew he was going to get jail time and agreed to it. He could have gone to trial. The title of this post is misleading. | /r/MensRights | 01/02/14 06:17 PM
