Change the word "men" to literally any other demographic and it would be clearly seen as monstrous. If you changed "men" to "white people" you could get a job with the Democratic Party.

have any of you met someone who would actually act like his example? I haven't. Yes, I have. I'm a lawyer and had a client who was the victim of domestic violence. He is a small Mexican guy, about 5'4" and maybe 130 lbs. He had a girlfriend who is Native American, about 6'0" and 300 lbs. One night she got blazing drunk, took a frying pan in each hand, and completely beat the shit out of him. A spectacular beating. It was laughed off. She wasn't prosecuted.

Legally, assault is putting someone in fear of being harmed. Battery is actually harming someone. While you might be able to file a lawsuit for stopping someone from leaving after they steal, there are two big problems. One, you have to show damages if you want to recover. Holding someone won't get you much, if anything. Two, how are you going to get that past a jury? Juries can smell bullshit a mile away. They will never give anything to a shoplifter in a case like this. Source: I'm a lawyer.

Also depending on your state of it's a private prison they may also enjoy sovereign immunity which means your damages are capped. I'm also a lawyer. What does sovereign immunity have to do with a private prison? Sovereign immunity has to do with foreign diplomats. It has nothing to do with prisons.

The article says she raped a victim while she was out on bail. She had been arrested and was charged with a number of felonies. She was released on bail. Then she committed the same crime again. Fuck her. Anyone who commits the same crime again while on bail deserves a very long sentence. I don't know if 30 years is too much, but she needs a good 10-15 in the can.

The black man being beaten based on the accusations of a white woman without any trial was definitely a standout. I think that used to happen back in the day. The SJWs are doing everything they can to turn back the clock. There are now safe spaces where white people aren't allowed. It's as bad in the US. My ex-fiancée would get into drunken rages and throw things at me. Like a dinner plate aimed at my head. Nine months in jail is no joke. I'm a lawyer and I practiced criminal defense for a few years, so I've been in plenty of jails and prisons to visit clients. It's not like anyone actually enjoys it. This one is perplexing. I want to see the texts that she sent to him before I make up my mind. Regardless of what she did, I'm going to agree with her lawyer, the charge will never stick. Nope. I'm a lawyer. Encouraging people to commit suicide is generally illegal. I haven't looked up the statutes here, but it's safe to assume they have them since the DA charged her. The only thing she'll be able to do is take a plea bargain. They won't let her go without a conviction.

It'll probably go to a jury if it isn't thrown out. If the jury has half a brain they'll convict her. Last time I remember, hit and run deserves jail time. Nope. I am a lawyer. I used to do criminal defense. It all depends. You may or may not get jail or prison for a hit and run. Don't get wound up over the boyfriend, either. He took a plea bargain. If you read the article, it says he plead guilty. He knew he was going to get jail time and agreed to it. He could have gone to trial. The title of this post is misleading.
