Very fair point. That's something I wish I'd have realized as an 18 year old; would've saved me many a heart break

If you make sure that you are in a stable and loving relationship where you're open with each other and genuinely care about each other then this shouldn't be a worry. A relationship built on genuine love and trust with a person who cared about you as much as you do them rarely fails. Our society is unfortunately at the point that we glorify short term relationships and instant gratification with sex that many people base their marriage on things as simple and dumb as sex or looks. A good lookin…

Never trust women and make better decisions. I'm pro-life in all cases except when the mother will die but I do feel some empathy here. My fiance lied to me and told me she was on birth control and didn't tell me she lied until my son was already born. Either way I love him more than I've ever loved anyone or anything before. The situation that you're in sucks for sure but part of being a man is manning the fuck up and holding yourself accountable for things you've done or have been a part of. N…

Men aren't forced to be with traditional women. I'm a men's rights activist but if you don't want a traditional woman then don't be with one. I love that my fiance is a traditional woman personally but if you want a working woman then find one ya know? Not making this comment to sound insulting or anything btw. I personally think having a traditional wife makes a man more powerful in the relationship which is how I like it; she's home with our son, I come home and spend time with him and give he…

I don't feel this way. I feel that it's selfish but not because of misandry. It doesn't matter if it's a man or woman doing it, either way leaving everybody who loves you behind because life got too hard is selfish in my book. I was very close to my uncles brother in law when I was younger and he helped me through a very terrible two years at school where I was being bullied profusely every day. He killed himself after him and his girlfriend got into a bad fight and she left and I personally hav…

Yeah seems like my fuck-ass state to put her bond at 70k. She should have no bond and be sentenced to life without parole. If this was a man who did that I guarantee that his bond would be over 100k and he'd have to be in protective custody for his own protection

Not sure if you're in the U.S. but if you document each occurrence and the times that you've reached out to HR, you might be able to report your employer to the EEOC. I did it once and the girl harassing me was fired alone with everybody in the HR department because they had footage of her grabbing my ass and dick on multiple occasions. Also they had to settle out of court. Can't really say much about that but I left that job in a new truck.

Gotta be honest I am a MRA but I don't think women belong in the military AT ALL. A man's job is to be strong, provide for his family and fight to protect them even if it means taking a life or giving your own while a woman's is to care for her family, nurture her children and keep a good home. The sexes are not equal in their physical abilities and women should not be on the front lines. I wouldn't want to fight for a woke country but if it helps keep the war off out of the homeland and keeps m…

So what I'm getting from this is that men will have better healthcare for once?

Yeah man I don't understand how anybody who claims to be a MRA can be homophobic. I'm in quite the predicament with my sexual currently but after middle and high school where mob mentality can make you act homophobic, I don't understand homophobia. I'm a bisexuality dude who likes guys more and the only reason that I'm against certain things like the fed legalizing gay marriage is because I am also a states rights activist. I think there is a healthy middle ground between being a homophobic bigo…

I never reported mine. I knew that if I dud then I'd lose contact with most of the people in my family considering it was a man who raped me. I also knew the cops wouldn't care about it. Fuck being a man sometimes

I couldn't be circumcised at birth since I went to the NICU and by the time I was psychically able to, the doctor didn't want to cut off too much so now I'm stuck somewhere between a crew-neck and a turtle-neck on my pp. It's pretty cruel to do in my opinion. Just teach boys how to pull the skin back and wash it. I've had to do it my whole life and I'd much rather do that than lose a bunch of sensation and potentially be harmed by circumcision. On the bright side of things though, it's always be…

Oh I'm from one of the most red in the nation but she was early enough along that at the time (2018) it was allowed. Although I will never forgive her, I'm grateful that I have my fiance and my son. She helped me learn to love again and showed me that not all women are terrible and my son is just the best little baby ever. Being a dad is the best job in the world and I'm very grateful for both my fiance and my son.

I found out she'd been sexting a guy for 2 of our 4.5 years together. I confronted her about it and she told me it was my fault that she cheated. We got into a fight and she broke up with me. At the time she was pregnant with my baby and had an abortion that she bragged to me about. She took my child and part of my soul that day.

I'm not transphobic. It's not a phobia. It is a genuine concern for a group of people who are consistently lied to and affirmed in their incorrect beliefs about what sex they are. When you look at the rate of suicide in trans individuals before they transition it is around 42% and after transition it is still around 42%. If any other mental disorder had these results, there would be medical malpractice lawsuits and public outrage but it's fine when a man says he's a woman and vice versa. I've tr…

Both sides have issues but men ultimately face more issues than women do. We are the majority of casualties in war, we are incarcerated at a higher rate than women, have a higher suicide rate than women, have a higher rate of mental illness and addiction than women and ultimately have no say in whether or not our unborn child gets to live or not in most places. Adding these arbitrary terms like nonbinary and trans to the conversation severely detracts from the fight for men's rights.

Identifying as nonbinary is just a cry for attention. This is a men's rights sub. There are two genders. Men are ultimately the ones treated like shit in most societies unless they put on a skirt and add "(she/her)" or some other lie to his profile then he is treated like a god amongst mere mortals. Why even post here? Is it just to piss people off or is it because you can't admit that men face many more issues and discrimination in society than women do?

Damn I'm sorry to hear that. It's just shocking seeing such an authoritarian government in the western world. I'm from Texas so we wore a mask for a little bit but really only in big cities so I'd say it's close to the polar opposite of Australia

I'm not surprised. Australia has unfortunately gone to shit since covid first started. I wouldn't doubt that the former penal colony who voted to disarm itself is crafting even more stupid laws like this.

I hate the whole height insecurity thing. I'm 5'11 and I went to school with at least 50 Mexican dudes who were 5'2 that could take me on. Height isn't something you can control and you shouldn't be ashamed of it at all especially if a woman decides to talk down to you because of it. Stay strong short, tall or average homies

Not only is the post horrible but the comment she makes about raising a little boy as a girl is equally terrible. If the roles were reversed and a man made a post about killing a baby if it was a girl, there would be a shit storm of threats and potential harm to him which of course would be deserved but since a woman made the original post, it's just supposed to be accepted
/r/MensRights26/03/22 12:54 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
