Exactly; the point I get from this article, as /u/AlwaysABride said, is that When women athletes make less money, like the US soccer team, they file a lawsuit and whine on morning news shows. When male athletes make less money, they say "meh". Seems like one gender really likes to find a way to be a victim.

Well, only if it's a man who does something bad while drunk. If it's a woman, then she was incapable of being responsible for herself and was "taken advantage of."

Actually, my title is a little misleading. The 7.6 per 1000 statistic is for sexual assault, not rape. Also, The actual number for COLLEGE women is 6.1 in 1000. NON-College women is 7.6 in 1000.
