If you break down the metrics between what's required of a female and male, they get paid more for less. You got me curious, so I broke it down. A 25-29 year old Navy E4 with more than three years in has a basic pay of $2267 per month. In order to pass the PRT with satisfactory (medium) score, the female must perform 15 push ups, whereas the male must do 38. Both must do this in under 2 minutes (note they both must do 47 curl ups in 2 min). The minimum run times are 15:45 and 13:45, respectively…

There getting paid more per push up and mile. At no point in my 10-year military career as an officer do I remember seeing or allowing any female in my company get away with doing less at PT than a man because of their gender. Same job, same pay. There's no single job in the military where women who have the same rank, rate/MOS, role get paid the same for doing less. WGAF that they have to do fewer push-ups for a passing score on the PFA/PRT? The women I've served with were just as capable as the men. There were dirtbags and super performers in both groups. It's not a gender thing.
