Yes, exactly. I think we make a big deal out of all of this. If you are nice about it and willing to walk away within seconds, it shouldn't be seen as a big deal. I have just done the standard direct opener "Hey I saw you and I think you are cute so I wanted to meet you." Like the initial phrase isn't important. I have also said "Hey, how's it going?" The best one is if you see something in the situation that you can use. For example I saw a girl with a big camera in a furniture store and then I asked "are you an influencer?" which to me was a lot less nerveracking than just walking up and saying a compliment

This never works when you try to plan how to make a date successful before it happens. You need to have this attitude that she is going to have to make the date good for you too. But just be there, talk, not about boring things, and eventually you just say "Lets go back to my place." not OP but for me I saw that it's very important not to plan the interaction. Just go up and say your opener and then freestyle from there. If you have a script in mind that you are going through, you will not be smooth enough. I know this is not the advice you want but it's the advice you need. did you even read the page you linked? "however, the overall risks remain small and less certain than those associated with maternal age over 40." If we say something has a 1% chance of happening, and it increases to 2% you can say that the risk doubled. So just because a small change increased doesn't mean so much.
