I am so incredibly sorry for this. Anyone who does this is such an awful, awful person. You and your coworker deserve better. My dad has made a rule in his work environment to never be left alone with a woman and to always be in groups of 3. Stupid that it has come to this in certain situations.

As a woman. I don't want to be drafted, the thought is terrifying. But at the same time, I'm sure any male my age is in the same boat. So yes, we should be listed in the draft if we are truly wanting equality. And we should be tried and tested in the military as the same. Also how the hell does the patriarchy play into this? The foreskin helps protect the head of the penis from numerous things. The more research they've done on it the more they've realized theirs more benefit to having it than not. There is a link in one of these comments about all the studies on it and it's pretty interesting. If an adult wants it, that's fine. But plenty of men have had botched circumcision or ones that have effected their sex lives later on. I rather not risk this for my baby boy. It's just not worth it.

Just read up about circumcision from one of those baby health pages and it's crazy how bias they are. "Normal procedure with almost no risk and greater benefit" You are removing skin that your body is born with. I'm sure there are some more factors to that... Before joining this sub I really didn't know much about circumcision and planned on following the norm and do it with my future boys. I can tell you now that their's no way in hell I would do it now.

You're right. I was merely pointing out the fact that as far as gender equality goes, women aren't opressed in the western world like they are in other countries. I've read Animal Farm and completely agree. When you push the agenda of one group, eventually that group will have all the power.

I think it's pretty extreme but if you take it from the view point of what the opposite sex would fear most while interacting with each other then it makes sense. Side note: she's also trans and while trans people have their own issues, as a female myself, I feel like she will never understand what it's like to grow up as a female. And talking about how society is male dominant and she's taking power back when she herself hasn't had to grow up dealing with that because she didn't transition until later. It's insane what they are willing to do just to ruin someone. As a female, I had them cyber harrash me for months. It's extremely unlikely. For men it was elevating estrogen levels extremely and also caused lot of them to fall into depression or have some other mental illness due to the fact it was chemically changing their bodies. Several men committed suicide due to their depressive state and although they never officially linked it to the drugs, they shut it down because they realized it was doing more harm on their bodies than good. And on top of that, it wasn't even working.

Tbh I don't see the problem with this post I saw it earlier and thought it was pretty interesting. It's rare for something like this to happen and while I don't think it has anything to do with equality, I thinks it's pretty cool. She was created as a way for Marvel comics to copyright the name Marvel. Civil War II is fairly new which is when she started to gain more popularity but before that she wasn't in a ton of things nor was she the focal point. Captain Marvel has never been as popular of a characters as others.

This infuriates me. I am huge on raising awareness on human trafficking and it happens to both men and women. Unfortunately it's much less talked about when it comes to men being trafficked but it does happen.
