Never married so I cannot compare it to anything. I imagine I’ve avoided many arguments about money and spending habits. If I had been spending on a wife or gf I’d probably be broke. These days women want the most expensive things. I’m not frugal per se but I make smart decisions about money. Never had to worry about it because I spend within my means. No credit card debt. You need to have an emergency fund of a lot more than 1k. This year is proof of that. I save a lot the only thing I wonder about is liquidity.
