Heh I see what you mean about the bitch shields, you sound a bit wound up. I guess a smiley face would make it better but honestly if a women gets that text and immediately thinks it's some sort of threat - I think there are bigger problems with the relationship. I mean it's obviously a joke but a joke that's true. I disagree with you, I think being someone's bf/gf entitles you to some of their time (or at least to ask them for their time). It's great if she has a lot of friends but if she treat…

Yikes! I don't think it sounds childish or needy at all, in fact I think it sounds pretty alpha and reasonable if her and her friends aren't doing anything important and are just hanging out. A very confident woman with a ton of friends is good unless it's interfering with your life together, after all wouldn't you agree people in relationships need to make time for one another? I think you're also sort of putting your own negative spin on this. Sure if a mean abusive guy sent you this text: "Ca…

Why? If this girl is your girlfriend you shouldn't be afraid to make demands of her, relationships take sacrifice after all. Also I don't really like roodninja's line- it sounds too much like it's a new girl you just met and not a gf - I think "Have fun. Looks your friends are going to have to deal with me since you're busy."

I think you and everyone else here knows what the correct answer is, you just need someone else to say it out loud.

writing a letter everyday for a year is probably the old fashioned version of spamming texts

just wedge yourself in there "HELLO!" (shake hands) "what's your guys' names? How do you all know each other?"

Heh well taking it to the logical extreme I suppose Pedophillia is not unethical. Maybe unethical isn't the right word exactly, maybe I just meant "wrong". Still my point was that I think it's really lame how it's the guys that are hamstrung by the idea of 'leave a girl better than you found her' (IE look at for your best interests even if it conflicts with your own) but there's an idea women aren't under the same obligation.

nope, while just looking at a picture of a guy women will usually find him more attractive if they're told he's unavailable. Here's an article about it

I would say it's very unethical for a woman to judge the worth of a man by if he currently has a GF

no, you don't need to get a drink - you can just sit down at the bar or if you feel awkward about not ordering anything you can just ask for some free water. Don't worry, you see people by themselves just hanging out with nothing to do at bars all the time, no one will think you're weird or anything.

"I must be the worst story-teller, because I actually meant it as an unusual but sweet story " heh well it is unusual as least, I'm just a bit confused by the facts "He filled up all my thoughts, everything, yet, I was dead set on not getting into a relationship with him, and this is the only strange part. To this day I have no idea what I really was thinking." Well you are a chick after all it must be tricky but furthermore since it's the logical part of you that didn't want a relationship with…

yeah but the point I'm making is that it didn't work - I mean it sounds like after that night you withdrew from him, and then he guilted you into a relationship with him and then you broke up with him right away... I know you said it was teasing but when he said "You know we are practically in a relationship just aren't calling it by its name, right?" did you think to yourself "this feels right I want him so bad" or were you like "he's put in his dues I guess I owe him a shot at least" Based on …

see I really don't think that's a good idea, I think that's really lame he was asking you advice on what it means to be in a relationship - seems so AFCish (also the fact that he told you this was his first relationship). I mean I get that you thought it was great to be honest and talk about it like a math problem but that's totally not what you should do - that's not a way to emotionally connect with a chick, that's not romantic. This part- "I told him I didn't want to be in a relationship with…

that sounds like classic push-pull - and I agree with Polishdude - the ability to laugh at oneself is a good trait that's hard to find in most chicks.

The fuck? you even broke up with him? and btw 2 months is still a pretty long time. Is there anything else he did or told you that really impressed you? Also how did he eventually get with you - I mean did he ask you out on a formal date or did he just like go caveman and attack you while you two were hanging out one day?

This is a weird story, I'm a little confused he was running game for two years before he got with you - I mean didn't he try to do anything earlier?

being humilated constantly and feeling self-concious might just make some people even more timid and hate doing stuff like that even more.

hmm well I think that's a bit unfair, I mean just because you disagree with someone they may be able to offer a new insightful point of view on a particular topic that you may be able to meet them halfway with. Another point I want to mention is that it's a bit silly to call her values 'the defense of the status quo'...I mean the status quo has changed...more than half of all marriages end in divorce and about half of all children are born out of wedlock so I mean feminists have achieved a lot o…

well even more than that I think you were downmodded because you're just saying you don't agree with her politics and not about what she actually wrote in this specific article...do you agree/disagree? I mean even someone that has incorrect political views can sometimes say something profound.

"So, in other words, she opposes women being required to register for the draft" good, no one should be required to register for the draft
