Were the men waiting for women to write the emails and organize the events and write the speeches and create the banners, and and and? I do agree with you that society as a whole doesn't do as much for the day as it should. But then again, I would also love to see MEN take International Men's Day even 1/4 as seriously too. Maybe when men start caring about the day more, it would become more known? If I may ask, genuine question, how do you personally celebrate the day?

"stop bothering women going about their day" is solid advice. Wild idea but hear me out: women exist in public for reasons other than being background characters in a man’s dating side quest. Shocking, I know, but sometimes women leave the house for groceries or sunlight, not to be “met.”
