I 'hacked' my way into an awakening which included unsought red pill awareness. Unfortunately it involved trauma that led to ptsd to trigger it and further traumatised me. I wouldn't recommend this approach and I'm still recovering, and not 100% sure I ever will, but it showed me what is possible and changed me completely yet in some ways not at all. Ineffable is the only way to describe it. But yeah a lot of red pill is way too materialistic and ego driven for me, but does offer a useful perspe…

I didn't think I ever really cared that much but turns out I was wrong. For me something happened and because of it, if I continued to care about what other people thought it would have been unbearable so I guess my brain decided to rewire itself to not care and now I really really don't give a fuck what others think

This. If they are being mean it is because they feel inadequate. Pity them. However they might be just being witty, in which case appreciate the wit without ego involvement. Or it might be constructive criticism but they don't know how to frame it less aggressively, in which case take the info without ego involvement

The cup is already broken. You know this. Now you need to appreciate it in the meantime. Why be scared, you've accepted nothing is permanent, so enjoy things while they last. If they break, well, you knew that was going to happen at some point. You already accept this fact, so you have an advantage on those who don't. Just don't get too attached to things...

Maybe try for more balance, when you are on your 'up' days do some calming stuff like meditation or low intensity exercise, Reading, whatever that lets you enjoy feeling good but doesnt amp you up too much, might be causing you to crash

Just wow... OP - one day at a time, slow and steady improvements... 2 steps forward 1 back is fine don't judge yourself, just don't ever give up. The more you overcome the stronger you'll be. Chances are you'll be able to handle nearly anything, once you've handled trauma like that
